The best restaurants

17/07/2026: absolutely shocking and a huge disaster i was here a few days ago and i am traumatised the beans were suitable for an ant to eat since they were freezing and tiny. everything was baked in the winter snow. the scrambled egg tasted like a dirty 2nd hand leather shoe but the rashers i drew the line. they were pink and floppy. i was internally screaming and crying. certainly not a fan of this so called “breakfast cafe” i ran out of the place immediately.

14/04/2026: Friendly staff, great coffee and nice selection of cakes. Plenty of parking.

04/08/2026: The service is absolutely lovely! I love the women who works there she looks so sweet and also is. We got a free can of drink with a free dip. Loved it. The chicken is so crunchy and nuggets taste so good. I loved it overall. This is gonna be me and my sister's new go-to spot!

04/08/2026: It was such a nice experience to be there. We were 4 frnds visiting there and randomly went for food. We order 2 pizza very taste and reasonable prices. The manager was a lady. She was very good, kind and professional. Thanks

16/09/2026: I’ve got a rotten meat in the croissant, when i bring it back the staff was very rude and didn’t believe i got it there

30/06/2026: Best Chinese takeaway in Bray. The staff are lovely and delivery never been delayed. One day I ordered for delivery but then as I had to go out anyway I said I'd pick it up. They refunded my delivery fee even though I said it was grand. I always order the crispy chilli chicken and it's always good, their prawn toast is excellent too.

16/08/2026: Food is okay, probably one of the better options considering what's available in the area. However be mindful that if you're sitting in the restaurant you will have to pay around 10 euros more than what's on the menu online, they also don't provide an itemized receipt of the food and what it cost, nor does the sit in menu include prices. It's on the main street so you might have to find parking in other establishments or pay and park at one of the street parking bays.

23/08/2026: Fantastic fish and chips very reasonably priced two fish and chips fish was so chunky and two cans of coke €27 . Highly recommend. Well done AJ's

17/08/2026: Food is always 100percent it's just the chips id have an issue about, but apart from that you can't go wrong, everything else I've eaten here is always perfect, especially the fish and scampi

22/05/2026: The Doner Kebab Meal for €9.50 could easily feed 2 people, and the quality of the lamb is fantastic, as well as the super-fresh naan bread wrap. Delicious! Their Indian dishes are currently off the menu but due to return next month - their chicken biriyani is gorgeous.

27/04/2026: I have eaten here before and food was excellent, I was back in the area and decided to eat again. The counter assistant looked like he slept in his clothes and had only got out of bed and then he told me that they don't do Indian food anymore. Considering this is primarily an Indian takeaway with a full Indian menu. I won't be back.

06/09/2026: We had our wedding at the hotel last year, which was fantastic, and just came back for the complimentary anniversary dinner. Food and service, both absolutely top notch.

22/07/2026: What we are all restricted to is down my road and in Edgeworthstown county Longford as 1:45 and we all know down road somewhere in around half 9 it banged on Roscommon as found out exact where it is on longford church about 5 minutes on right turn I'm killed everyone as on that longford church 23:54 and like I'm gone

24/08/2026: Very dirty place. Over filled bins, dirty benches and tables. And nothing is right. Avoid if possible.

07/08/2026: What a terrible pub. No words about the way it is managed as it isn’t. What I will talk about is the lovely staff they have to offer that pour their heart and soul into their shifts, whether you see them once or you see them all week they are lovely. Bar staff excellent. Very friendly. Floor staff high top quality. Very high standard of customer service. Two of staff I’d like to point out Jody being the first AMAZING. Really high standard, she knows what she’s doing 0 flaws. Might be treated badly and absolutly ran off her toes but she still shows up and puts her best foot forward. Soraya whom I was served by a month ago exceptional waitress, you need her she’s there, no questions asked. She comes in and really gets the job done, a polite and funny little girl. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for staff, no stars for the pub itself.

01/09/2026: Moody as staff and the mocha was trash. Asked about the bathroom and got pointed moodily to the disabled one (which had no toilet paper) and then told them they had no tp and got pointed to the right bathroom where I had to wait on a stall because a member of staff was using the customer stall for some reason instead of the staff one? Strange place.

15/07/2026: A quiet, spacious place to enjoy a good cup of tea in the best company.

19/09/2026: Sandy ( the owner) has a problem with EVERYONE when she's not there it's a great place runs smoothly, great banter, good company or if ypu want to sit on your own no one bothers you and staff are great, when she is there staff seem on edge, it's a rush to get the drinks out, as a result sloppy pints mistakes made with prices etc seems like everyone Is on edge when she's there

18/04/2026: Quiet pub with a good pint of Guinness. Plenty of screens and seems to be a place to watch sport

23/07/2026: The food here was delicious we had beef curries, salt and pepper ribs and honestly it was the nicest ive tasted in gorey by far would highly recommend

08/03/2026: I absolutely love this Chinese! The curry sauce is next to none. It has gotten very expensive.
