The best restaurants

30/03/2026: Went here at around 5:10pm for dinner, the restaurant was freezing and after a while of asking they said it would heat up slowly, never did. Ordered a arribiata pasta, it came out with a fajita seasoning sauce on it was nothing like any arribiata sauce I’ve ever had. Pizza came out cold and was so flat and flavourless. Chicken Milan came out with a microwaved sauce on the side and and a flat breast of chicken. Paid full price for rubbish in a bad atmosphere of a place.

15/02/2026: Went there for valentines as last minute place, was more than happy with our food my lasagne was gorgeous the sauce had a nice rich taste of it and my partner ( picky eater) loved his pasta which had the steak and Chicken in it he loved every bit of, the staff was more than lovely, such a wee hidden gem highly recommend

31/08/2026: No it's not posted to the wrong restaurant. Were were charged 12.5% service charge even when we had to order our own drinks at the bar. Get a grip.

02/08/2026: 12.5 % service charge ..??? FOR WHAT? We brought 15 people that they wouldn't have had, and we get charged 12.5% extra for bringing that business. Because it's a bigger group??? Thats a flawed business plan guys. You wont see us again.

11/05/2026: Ingredients were good. Could have been a little warmer. Tea was 100%

10/03/2026: Looking for somewhere to have a light lunch and popped in here. I had the Avocado toast and poached eggs and got to say it was just delicious, eggs were big and perfectly poached,, runny but slightly set, sitting on lovely toasted sourdough and creamy avocado. Little pricey but I don't mind paying for quality and I did really enjoy it. Will definitely be back next time I,'m over.

13/09/2026: Very bad food I can say. Food tastes like they took a ready made sauce and added it to boiled lamb meat.

14/08/2026: Got the vegetable platter for 2, garlic naan, rice and a mango lassi. Really flavourful dishes and perfect portions for two people. The lassi was so summery and delicious. Little gem of a restaurant in the heart of the town

23/04/2026: Lovely fish and chips for lunch, with good value and quality throughout. The sit-down area is busy, newly refurbished, and looks great, while the takeaway menu offers a huge choice of pizza, chicken, fish, and topped chips. Proper chippy chips too, making it a solid and satisfying spot.

22/07/2026: Its a takeaway in a small council estate. It's rough and ready. But the food is good and the staff are very nice. Get food from here regularly. Never had an issue.

04/09/2026: Lovely spot, Aaron at reception was very friendly and helpful... Beautiful renovation, but could do with a comfortable seating area to have a few drinks after dinner 👍

15/09/2025: Food and coffee were scrumptious, tables were clean, sheltered from rain and warm, music a bit loud and not my choice, everything else perfect for a Sunday brunch.

18/09/2026: worst Maxol ever. Stay away from Deli. stay safe :)

21/08/2026: Staff are so friendly. But the coffee machine goes off way too early, so we passed it now and govto circle k up the road...why do places have machines off and hour before they close

14/09/2026: Visited recently on way back from achill, decent shop but customer service is absolutely appalling. As a paying customer I felt unwelcome. After purchasing food I went to sit in back seating area where I was greeted by a stern frown, no smile or hello. Obnoxious man directs me to table bluntly. I notice other customers receiving same treatment. Obvious the man in question was never though any manners or trained in customer service. Very rude demeanor should receive some lessons on customer service training to carry out his ‘“job”. Let’s down the shop as till staff were very pleasant

12/09/2026: Parked here at Casey’s in castlebar got food and was informed that the manger Peter had told a member of staff to get my car gone, I didn’t realise you can’t park at a shop when getting food in store. Highly unprofessional to overhear in the shop considering I was a paying customer and had my car there for 55 mins , I’d like to point out that there is no signs saying I can’t park in a parking space and at the back of Casey’s there is a sign saying maximum 2 hours so I didn’t over step the mark , a bit of decorum and professionalism would want to be adhered to by the manger of the store.

13/07/2026: Very very good tasty food, I’ve been there every week since I discovered them 💯 met a man working there who I think could be the owner, very nice man and good customer service
