02/07/2025: Black and white pudding pizza. Different but nice.

11/10/2025: The fries were really bad – no idea how many times they’d been reheated, but they were hard and dry. I believe that a place whose main dish is fries should serve them perfectly every time. Disappointed.

11/12/2025: My wife and I spent 5 nights here during our recent visit to Killarney. We really enjoyed the central location, ample amenities, prompt and attentive staff and the well appointed room. We would stay here again in the future.

07/12/2025: We were very pleased with our stay here. The location is great if you're wanting to stay on the entertainment district. There is an on site bar and restaurant. They provide free onsite off street parking behind the hotel. For my American friends there is no AC but the windows actually open all of the way for good ventilation. We would stay here again.

29/09/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was disappointing enough to share. The staff were extremely rude and dismissive from the moment I walked in. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of great coffee shops in the area where the staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome — I suggest going to one of those instead.

25/07/2025: We came here for dinner because we were staying at the hotel. Contrary to the rather sobering reviews, we had an excellent meal (a perfectly cooked fillet with delicious entrees) and were served superbly by Ana! We and our daughter felt very comfortable in this atmosphere. There are also gluten-free options, as well as bread.

04/12/2025: I always enjoy the food here and the portion sizes are always really generous. The staff are all friendly and welcoming.

16/09/2025: A bit of a let down. Service not good. Waiter talked so soft, we couldn't hear him. No smile. We had to ask for a drinks menu, and only got one for our table of 4. Table was very small. Presentation of food bad. It did not look very appetizing. Steak was overpriced and a small portion. Desert was also not good, very small. I can not recommend this restaurant. I wanted to visit the hotel but now I'm not so sure anymore...

01/06/2025: Very bad food avoid. Food ... Was Not what was ordered. 2x chicken (fillet) bacon and cheese and toppings 2x curry cheese coleslaw chips! If only I could add a picture.. What I got,was a dryed out 2x chicken burger.."not fillet"cheap chicken ..no bacon no cheese..and something green a slimy maybe lettuce at some time in it life..but not even burger sauce no dressing...only a big lump of coleslaw on both .. Shocking... To see... Both burger's completely uneatable..... Curry chips....no comment! No customer care..out of sight out of mind... Next time il be spending my 30 euro elsewhere... Food will be returned tomorrow when re opened

19/11/2025: It was all good...except the size of a burger bun. Do they make these burgers smaller every year?

08/11/2025: The worst experience ever. 2 of the 3 ordering machine were not working. Place is not busy at all, though all free tables are covered with garbage. Disgusting. Pity I can't attach a photo about the place.

05/08/2025: My wife and I dined here and ordered two battered fish (hake) and chips. The batter was very thick and gooey -it seemed very undercooked. The fish was not fresh with a tough dry texture. We mentioned this to the staff and they came over with a temperature probe and stuck in in the fish right in front of us. They said it was cool but was probably at the right temperature when they served it. They however agreed to take it away. They then bought the same piece back saying they re-fried it, but it really was no better. They also gave us a small piece of battered cod to try but this was even worse; it was very dry, chewy and salty - clearly not fresh. Other reviews of this restaurant are good, so I'm not sure what went wrong this time.

14/08/2025: Inside Howth Market, Tram Chowder is a fried food stand perfect for a quick bite at reasonable prices. We tried the classic Brazilian coxinhas de frango and some potatoes with cheese, and both were quite delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. The market, which is quite bustling on weekends, has a small seating area where you can sit and eat. A highly recommended stop if you're in the area and want something quick.

15/09/2025: Highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant! The creative dishes are really eye-catching, skillfully combining traditional British ingredients with modern cooking techniques. Each dish is a double enjoyment of taste and vision. The service is also excellent. The waiters are friendly and respond quickly to customers' needs, making people feel at home. In short, it's a rare good restaurant!
