The best restaurants

17/12/2024: The lattes are gorgeous here that's all I ever get here I can't tell you anything more about their food but it's a bit expensive for the pastries and muffins here

06/12/2024: The worst thing about this place is the service. I went up to que at the counter and the lady in front of me asked are there customer toilets to the girl barista. The barista said no, but as the woman walked away the barista was looking at the woman in a way as if the lady said something silly and laughed with her colleague. This is rude, I'd imagine she gets a laugh out of making jokes of customers on a regular basis, she was young, short and darkish blonde hair. Still got plenty to learn about human behavior I guess. But then I ordered a coffee, when she gave it to me she couldn't even look me in the eye or speak when I said thank you, her sight was literally focused on all other things around me. This isn't my first encounter with rude behavior at this place. Management, get talking to your staff, re set the tone as respect goes a long way. The coffee is average nothing special, probably won't go again, the Bean Hive is much better

11/12/2024: I was here for quick bite to eat. Food was mediocre soggy crisps on top of my toastie. I assume manager had major attitude with staff member from local business even got the order wrong. I get it's busy time of year but drop in standards is not good. Will not return.

06/12/2024: Food was uncooked , food wasnt what i was expecting the 4 in 1 was not good the rice was undercooked and the chicken was not chewable and collecting was 1 hour and half this is disgraceful. LADS if you want good food and service go “supermacs!!!” How come in a big business like supermacs its takes only 20 minutes or even less because supermacs is top tier😍(roscrea!!)

30/10/2024: Best Indian I have had in a very long time. My favourite it Chicken Malaya (Karma with Pineapple and fruit Pilau Rice). Amazing

27/10/2024: If you are in Mallow and looking for a meal then do try D.Mughals indian restaurant the food is excellent and very reasonably priced the staff very good.

16/11/2024: Ordered a ciabatta and had the dog with me. One of the two young lads working on the 16/11/24 offered some chicken for the dog at no cost. When I went to collect I was given my ciabatta and he took out a fresh chicken and diced up half and put it into a box for the dog. Class touch would highly recommend

05/11/2024: Quality for the price 5 STARS! I didnt take a picture because I ate it all before I realised lol I ordered the hansum rotisserie chicken with potato wedges and what a massive portion! I had to share with my partner. Tasty, filling, good price & quick service. Thank you guys!

21/12/2024: Friendly staff. Free Christmas book to keep my 4 year old occupied was a really nice touch. Convenient location. Bloody cold room. Seat near window felt like there was no glass in it. Food was slow to come out. Pretty mediocre. Would go back to try other menu items but would appreciate if they upped their game. Not their best outlet.

17/12/2024: Saw a redheaded girl working away in the back.. think I heard her name was Rosie? Absolute brilliant service, made sure me and my asexual friend ate amazingly, and we felt right at home! Thanks Rosie and the crew!

08/01/2025: Really good coffee, lovely friendly staff and atmosphere us excellent apart from being in a carpark people watching is at its best here and seagulls intelligence really amazes me

31/12/2024: Free parking but was busy when we went as it was raining so popped down to the Shanowen branch instead. Have gotten delivery and would highly recommend

23/12/2024: OMGGGG it's my favorite place now, the girl was so sweet and also their chips are delicious, i don't know how they make them, but no one else has them pss and I was in for a nice shock with such a large portion

17/12/2024: I visited this place today and ordered the Malaysian Laksa Ramen and loaded chips. To my surprise, the dish tasted like overcooked noodles in thick McDonnells curry sauce — not a good start...the julienned veggies were dried out and minimal, pak choi overcooked, no mushrooms or garnish. We both tried it and thought it was honestly revolting. We sent it back, but the service was shockingly rude and unprofessional. A staff member had the audacity to tell us it wasn’t his problem and questioned if we’d ever had ramen before. Well yes, I’ve had ramen many times before, in Ireland and abroad, and this was by far the worst I’ve ever tried, accompanied by possibly the worst customer service we encountered. Anyway, staff refused to replace the dish, and when I insisted, they practically threw a small tray of chips at me with total disdain. The chips were no better — they tasted like refried potatoes, cooked at least the day before. Despite being quite hungry, I couldn't bring myself to eat them. Overall, not good enough, not even close!

02/01/2025: My meal was absolutely delicious. I had the sizzling prawns - (I have to try and make it myself) then the breaded chicken. The service was great aswell. The atmosphere was buzzing around the Abbey hotel on New years Eve night. Happy New year for 2025.
