17/12/2024: Yum Yum Pizza is a must-visit! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is friendly, and the pizza is outstanding. The crust is perfectly crispy and chewy, with fresh, flavorful toppings. Their Yum Yum Special is a standout, and the menu has something for everyone. Great quality, generous portions, and excellent service—this place truly lives up to its name! I’ll definitely be back.

30/09/2024: The food here is good, but my order is constantly getting mixed up. Sourdough doesn’t agree with me so I always request a wrap. The online ordering system allows for substitutions but what’s the point if it’s never applied? One or two times a mixup is a misunderstanding, but it’s every time I’ve ordered now there is something wrong. And for a tenner, it’s just not worth the money anymore to be let down. Won’t be ordering again and sorry to say.

18/12/2024: A Must Stop in Carrick-on-Suir I always look forward to stopping here when passing through. The food is unreal, pizzas, burgers, chips, you name it. They’ve also got a fun retro slot machine too, perfect for killing time while you wait. The staff are sound, and the place has a great vibe. Simple as that don’t miss it.

05/12/2024: I've been a customer for over 20 years. My burger was burnt black. They are usually great but this time Disgusting....... Its a pity, 1 star is the lowest rating... i COULD GO MUCH LOWER.

28/11/2024: Service was completely rushed. Brought main course plates while still eating starters. Food was bland and tasteless. No spice flavours whatsoever. Won't be returning.

03/11/2024: I was greeted by a lovely young lady, who seemed to be head of front of house. She had great customer service skills. My disappointment started with the wine. It wasn't at all nice. I mentioned this to the lady and she looked after me by allowing me to taste the other option. Neither wine was nice. My starter pakora prawns had no Indian flavours just sweet chili sauce. The main course was not as flavoursome as I previously tasted. The young lady who seemed in charge of the floor saved this from getting a one star. I don't think I will be back.

10/01/2025: We came here 26.12.24 on our anniversary. We were looking for something with a nice view and ambience with good food, and Sophie’s did not disappoint we were welcomed by the lovely Rebecca at the front and seated quickly with a beautiful table overlooking the Galway skyline at night. The gentleman serving us, possibly French, was very attentive serving us and friendly! I had the duck salad to start (so tasty!) and sea bass afterwards followed by dessert, they even surprised us during dessert with a little extra icecream with a little message on it. Such a nice touch. Drinks were superb and we can’t wait to come back again for another visit. Thank you Sophie’s! :)

02/01/2025: Really wonderful meal with good portion sizes and the service was friendly and attentive. The garlic bread with mozzarella and the seafood linguini were especially amazing.

20/12/2024: It’s pretty expensive here and the portion sizes really vary depending on who is serving you. Today someone called katarina made my food and I paid 11€ for a half size burrito bowl 😬

26/08/2024: The sandwiches at The Pantry are hard to beat. Top-quality ingredients, generous portions and a wide variety of options. Their scones and carrot cake are also well worth trying. The only downside is a lack of indoor seating which surely is a bit of a must given the unpredictable weather on the west coast.

26/08/2024: I have been going to Kilkee for the last forty years, and The Pantry has gotten progressively bewildering in what it is trying to achieve. Back in the day, it was a thriving Café and bakery, serving cooked breakfasts, sandwiches, and delicious treats. They have changed a lot over the years, and the current layout doesn't do it justice. The majority of the space is taken up with what I assume is intended to be an Italian style Delhi, with displays of jams, wines, olive oils and pastas. This runs alongside a hot counter and baked goods stand, and a seperate coffee counter. This peculiar layout is entirely at the expense of adequate indoor seating, in the wilds of west clare. There are a handful of small tables inside the front door, and an outdoor seating area with no awning or umbrellas despite frequent heavy rain. The food is very good quality, but you are paying Café prices for essentially take-away food, which is served in single use plastic, even if you are eating "in", and the staff can be gruff. The Pantry gets away with this solely because of the lack of competition. Save your money and head for Beag in Kilrush.

18/01/2025: Waited over 2.5 hours for a delivery. Food was freezing. Also when you phone in an order you still need to join the queue when you collect it. A bit ridiculous. Defeats the purpose. Shame as the food is very good.

31/12/2024: The food itself was great however the amount of food for 7.50 was shocking. Got the smallest bag of chips in history, 3 onion rings and a small batter sausage (don’t mind that as it was tasty). Everything else was forgivable as the food quality was really good but the amount of chips in the bag was unfortunately so small and hugely disappointing that I am not sure I could justify another visit. Very torn as to whether to go back.
