09/08/2026: While on business, I stopped by this cafe on Sunday morning. Nice atmosphere, great fresh pastries, delicious coffee. It was quite crowded for a weekend morning, which speaks to the popularity of the establishment. In addition to coffee and desserts, you can order a full breakfast, as well as lunch. I definitely recommend it.

05/09/2026: I ordered my food and it took over 3 hours to come and it’s not the first time the food came cold when I ring up about it the majority of them are ignorant and hang up the phone and when I went up the other day they threw the food on the counter at me

02/02/2026: Pros- The pastries and desserts are exceptional! Cons - The eggs benedict is a disappointment. The brunch/lunch is disappointing compared to the pastries and desserts and coffees/drinks.

06/08/2026: I feel bad because the girls were very friendly, but I just didn't like it at all. Walking in for breakfast to a terrible smell of fried food isn't very pleasant. The coffees were very good, but the cups were dirty on the outside. The sandwich was incredibly dry and bland. I'm really sorry I didn't like it; it was the only place open in Ballymote where I could sit down for coffee at 10 am, and I won't be going back.

18/08/2026: partner and i have frequented to this place two or three times during our time out in the town. it’s pretty affordable and the food is good for the price . the chips taste frozen store bought but the burgers taste home bought or at the very least seasoned. my girlfriend , not a huge beef lover really likes the burgers too . the store looks family run, with the same three or four staff members on the occasions we’ve gone in . the pricing is extremely reasonable especially considering it’s in the middle of the town . our total averages to 12€ spent on a meal. nothing fancy but great chipper and a recommended take away with warm welcoming staff who know a thing or two about hospitality.

02/06/2026: Cod and chips and calamari and chips, €14.50 each. Frozen chips, fish and calamari only grand. Do not reccomended, very dissatisfied, overpriced completely for what it was.

04/09/2026: We stopped for coffee and cake. The cakes were very nice and we will definitely call again when next in Bandon. The sitting outside is a pleasant little eara to sit in.

19/07/2026: I visited heavens cakes, i got a bad impression straight away i saw the boss shouting at one of her young employees in the public carpark in SuperValu infront of everyone passing by, the poor girl look terrified. This is no way to treat staff. As I was waiting for my coffee I saw one of the other girls scraping the meringue off the base of the lemon meringue and replying new meringue. That is insane behaviour. I would not recommend very unprofessional.

22/07/2026: ZERO STARS 'Manager" an absolute nightmare. Have an allergy in the house, said it on ordering and he challenged and argued with me on the phone about it when they delivered the wrong thing!! Then had the cheek to ask for the wrong burger back as if i was lying or looking for something free. Never wrote a review before but this treatment was unbelievable🤬 🤬

19/07/2026: Chicken burger and chips. Can't go wrong? Yeah right. Burger edible but where are they going with a bag of chips --- full of small, inedible scrap leftovers from the bottom of the chipped potato bag!! Have the photo but won't upload. Never again! €10.10 and the miserable so and so insisted on taking the ten cent coin!!

11/08/2026: I visited this branch this afternoon to get some work done online, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The indoor temperature was freezing due to the air conditioning being set far too low. When I politely asked the staff member working at the time to adjust the temperature, my request was ignored. To make matters worse, as I was forced to leave due to the uncomfortable, cold atmosphere, I noticed her laughing about it with her colleagues. Poor customer service and an unpleasant environment, I won't be returning.

01/08/2026: Everything's fine here. You can drink coffee and think about your life. What can you change about it? You can buy a cookie with your coffee.

21/07/2026: I don't recommend going to this place, I ordered a kebab and there was a ton of hair inside it.

28/07/2026: Food was good. Don’t expect any service to be honest. This place is dine in as well but no place to was hand or toilet. Chef was very rude to be honest. It looked like he is doing his job forcefully. If you want to order delivery I will say food is good

24/07/2026: Very disappointing. The chicken was dry and over loaded with salt. The burger was honestly the worst I have had in Dublin, completely lacked flavour and was barely edible. It was a total waste of money. I definitely won’t be coming back or recommending this place.

20/08/2026: I ordered a kids’ meal for my son and asked to replace the chips with boiled rice. I was surprised to be told that this would cost an extra €3, especially as the prices of rice and chips on the menu are almost the same. I feel this is an unreasonable charge for such a simple substitution.

28/06/2026: Bar none the best Chinese in Portarlington, staff super attentive, delivery drivers super friendly and so long as im living here, Bamboo Garden will be by go to comfort food delivery option. I've tried all the others, Bamboo Garden wins by a country mile. Huge hats off to the fella on the phone, i would like to give him a hug and kiss on the cheek. 10/10
