The best restaurants

24/11/2024: I just finsnished a half marathon. Started at liffey valley shopping centre finished here at 10.30. Place was not open but the owner looked after me with a gorgeous breakfast berrito and coffee.

19/11/2024: There twice recently for pre game food. Had the burger and I thought it was perfect. Service was a key factor for our return as Sofia was very professional and very warm and welcoming. She could not have been better. All in all a great spot for a pre or post match bite to eat. Not alone have they a good wine selection you can get Peroni on draught. Looking forward to our return for the Australian game

04/01/2025: Went in Saturday evening after looking in shops staff were very welcoming food and coffee was lovely

09/11/2024: Had coffee and cake 3 times in the last 2 weeks, I have to say the coffee is first class, the cake is good too, a little pricey but nice.

23/01/2025: Great revamp of the premises. Always a good atmosphere, Good food as usual but prices have crept up.

14/12/2024: Disgusting. Food not cooked properly best thing about it was the delivery driver, i would not recommend for your dogs dinner

17/12/2024: Hadn't had a McDonald's for a long time. So this was a nice treat. The burger was simply delicious really meaty I know they all are but this tasted really good. The milkshake as always was great. Have to say the small let down were the cheese melts not very melty or cheesy but I still ate them so couldn't have been that bad. Service was quick and the staff friendly and smiling.

15/12/2024: Just another McDonald's in the Republic of Ireland if it weren't for the fact that it is a few minutes walk from Dublin airport and is open 24 hours a day. It has its own taxi rank, but if you want to book one with FREENOW, as of today, you will have to walk back to Pickup Zone 18 in the airport parking lot. The kiosks work but the printers do not, although there is no problem in having them print it for you if you need it. They are fast and effective, what is expected from a fast food restaurant.

22/12/2024: Absolutely disgraceful how was treated and service was slow and appalling when was not even busy ..manager was not professional one bit and thought was a joke as reheated French fries when watched them and gave silly excuse as to why was getting reheated French fries..very unprofessional how staff treated a customer

29/12/2024: Never when asking for gluten free bread in a subway have I seen them clean all the surfaces before starting... until today, I was actually shocked as I'm so used to the ones in Dublin not giving a crap. Best on by far will give unborn child to the sandwich gods that look over this subway and only this subway

30/11/2024: 30th of November at 14:20 Very bad atmosphere between the two staff members. The young male was throwing stuff around and was clearly very angry, terrible attitude. No salads available to put on sandwich. No tea or coffee or else they couldn’t be arsed Not a good look for this subway outlet. Not a good look for Gorey either.

13/10/2024: Rude ignorant staff serving “locals only” Not surprised either, place that looks like a dump = acts like a dump. Zero stars Avoid *EDIT - in response. My pleasure :-) Refusal to purchase a drink / food in your wonderful establishment but serving “locals only” at 2pm in the afternoon is the first experience I’ve had in Ireland so don’t compare yourselves to every town in Ireland when that’s simply not true. You are welcome to experience true hospitality in Kerry anytime, it seems ye are lacking the concept.

26/01/2025: On 2 occasions i literally got 8 Fries and I requested just mayo and lettuce and there was burger sauce on it.Over priced and not worth the visit.

15/01/2025: Be careful if going to the drive-through because some of the prices on the menu beside the "order here" speaker are incorrect

01/12/2024: Ordered takeaway Spicebag and was completely disappointed with it. Spicebag was full of chips and barely any chicken in it. Taste was pretty unsual as well. I ordered from Castleknock millennium 2 and will never order again from this place.

23/06/2024: Domingo por la tarde 6 pm Pedí siete platos y seis tenían un problema. Normalmente gente encantadora detrás de la recepción y un servicio rápido y muy razonable y a menudo buena comida. Sin embargo La canción de cerdo no tenía un buen sabor – parecía cansada y recalentada y la lechuga que la acompañaba estaba marchita y flácida. Las alitas de pollo de sal y pimienta parecen fritas y duras. El cerdo agridulce estaba delicioso, pero pedí salsa de lado para que estuvieran crujientes cuando llegara a casa y todos estuvieran empapados. He llenado el filete de jengibre y cebollas de primavera y tres de las seis piezas estaban duras y las tiré, por último pedí el acompañamiento de brotes de bambú y castañas de agua. No había castañas de agua en el contenedor y los brotes de bambú eran ligeramente viejos y leñosos y resistentes. Los llamé por teléfono y cambié de opinión de Delivery a recogida y me reembolsaron con una botella grande de Coca-Cola, que era agradable. Estaba demasiado cansado para devolver la comida que costó casi 60 € en efectivo por uno. person

09/11/2024: The End of an Era Background It is with great sadness and regret, that after 20+ years, I officially ended my long standing relationship with Pizza Hut Rathfarnham. What started off as a bubbly and innocent bond, built off delicious thin base pizzas, the juiciest of garlic bread ( OG's will remember) and the convenience of it being a stone thrown away, unfortunately the relationship has deteriorated in tandem with the standards and quality that the shop puts out. The Main Event Tonight was the night, Saturday night fever, the 11 month was in bed and myself and herself had agreed to get a pizza ( largely driven by my craving for a pizza with pineapple). We ordered a large thin base pizza with double crispy bacon and double pineapple and some cookie dough to round off the indulgence. Herself collected and drove home no longer than a 5/6 minute drive. I was excited, eager and starving a terrific combination. When I opened the box I knew it was going to fall short of the once epic standards of this local establishment. Look, there was nothing horrifically wrong but straight away you could tell that the level of freshness was not going to match my expectation and previous experiences. It would be amiss to not comment that I got double bacon and double pineapple ( Yeah what about it ?!) and I was disappointed to see literally 2 pieces of bacon on a couple of the slices. Of course I ate my share and some because that's the type of guy I am, a team player but again it just didn't hit the spot. Cookie dough was delicious but small, sure they know that already. Extras If you've gotten this far into the review, maybe we should be friends cause you clearly don't have a life either but I do want to comment on the service, my partner collected and said that everyone was very nice so fair play to the boots on the ground, this review is not a criticism on them, Pizza Hut have been cutting corners ( like a lot of other established chains) but tonight they've met there match from a man in his mid 30's with 20%+ body fat. The Summary To finish, a tear to what used to be a fine establishment and a hat tip to the staff who are stuck working to the standards driving by the man ( the man being the Pizza Hut in this instance) You'll continue to sell pizzas just not to this man.
