31/05/2025: Worst service and coffee I ever had ....Shocked by how people are treated if they are not a regular customer. And coffee - there wasn't any in my cappuccino ( or barista forgot to change beans after previous order ) , - so I've got just a milk in my cup ... Sad, but seem like it was my last visit into this one Cafe.

31/07/2025: The food here is lovely and the staff are so helpful. I was served by Olivia today who went out of her way to make sure my matcha was the way I like it. Really friendly and welcoming vibe created by staff.

08/07/2025: Review Date: 19 June 2025 I have mixed feelings about this review as I’d be rating two menu items that I have recently tried here. First, their mixed grill kebab with Naan bread ( lamb doner meat + grilled chicken tikka) is amazing. Fresh, right balance of flavor and spices and very generous portion. The dips are amazing and adds a great punch to the flavor. I also love their naan bread which is always fresh and crisp. On the other hand I tried their Chicken Supreme Pizza on multiple occasions and it made me hate Pizzas for the very first time. The dough is ok-ish, a very low quality cheese, Chicken cubes were not even boiled properly. The pizza had a distinct smell and an uncooked flavor profile. Also, I believe Pizzas are over priced.

16/08/2025: I've got Italian burger only with one peace of meat

01/08/2025: Stopped in for a quick bite. The order was correct, which is a win, but the burger tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Fries weren’t salted enough and the Coke was flat. Staff were polite but not particularly warm. It gets the job done when you need something fast, but it didn’t hit the spot. Could use more consistency and better quality control.

07/08/2025: I always try and make a visit to the green rooster when I visit Tralee. It never disappoints. Homely atmosphere, eat in with plates and cutlery. Real food. A step above a generic chain experience. I look forward to eating there again next time I am in Tralee

02/07/2025: We stopped in for a hamburger as a late night snack. The place was very busy but there was not a long wait. It has both takeaway & eat in. We ate in. The hamburgers were delicious & very reasonably priced. Service is very good. If you are I a hurry & would like good, fresh food made to order, this is the place to go!

09/07/2025: Be careful when ordering because you might get scammed like I did today. I went to Apache to order a rooster wrap meal, but I wanted dynamite fries instead of the plain fries the meal comes with. The guy said that they can't do that, but I can get the dynamite fries separately, and I said that's fine. I expected to get the wrap and the dynamite fries instead of the plain fries. When I ordered my food, the guy charged me 18 euros, and I already realized that something isn't right, because 18 euros for one wrap and one order of dynamite fries? When my food came, I realized that the guy charged for the wrap, the dynamite fries AND the plain chips that came with the wrap meal (which I didn't want, I wanted the dynamite fries instead of them). So basically, I got charged for plain chips, which I didn't want, I wanted the dynamite fries instead of the plain chips that came with the meal. Be careful when you order and be extra clear about what you want. I probably won't be returning here, I'll be going to the Supermac's across the street because there the cashiers have a better understanding of your order, and also you can customize the chips that come with your meal without any issues.

23/08/2025: We had a very good experience in supermacs carlow I felt I had to write this. The staff are very friendly, went out of their way to help us. We had 3 children with us and nothing was a problem to the staff. I hope the staff who were working today 23rd of August 25 see this. They really know how to treat their customers. Thank you very much.

04/09/2025: I have to say I'm sorry because I like this place for food mostly... But please 🙏 don't use the same think batter as used on battered sausages on the fish 🐟👎👎. I was so disappointed it was the worst batter ever.. I don't eat fish to often. But when I get it from an Italian chip shop I'd expect a lot better. Again I'm sorry but has to be said . The fish should have a nice thin crisp batter . Also there was a nice new young man doing the table service that was a pleasure to see a nice friendly person to be fair to him .

16/07/2025: I just got a bag of chips and the condition of chips is soggy and everything is broken parts. This is the worst chips I ever had. As a local shop this is totally terrible condition. So upsetting me.

13/07/2025: Staff is chill not their fault but i paid without checking and iced americano was 5,95… I went back to ask if it was an error and told me it’s the owner that decided the price? 5,95€ FOR ICED AMERICANO is your ice that expensive?

02/07/2025: One of my favourite places to get my ice chillers, full of flavour. You're not waiting ages for your drink. I've only ever waited a few minutes max. They've never messed up my drink order. I've never eaten the food, so I can't comment on that. Very clean quite place. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating (outside for smokers/vapers.) Ashtrays provide. Toilet available. Staff are really nice and cheerful. I highly recommend this place. I only wish it opened at 8 am so I could grab my ice chillers on the way to work. 🙏

15/07/2025: Avoid ordering from here unless you’re okay with waiting over an hour for your food to arrive cold. Extremely disappointing experience — I wouldn’t recommend it.
