05/08/2025: The food is wonderful and the place has a great vibe. However, the service could be improved. During my visit, there were three staff members inside the café chatting, while the outdoor area was full and the staff member assigned outside seemed overwhelmed. I understand that there may be designated roles for indoor and outdoor service, but when the outside is busy, it would be helpful if the indoor staff could step in and assist. More attention and proactiveness from the team would really enhance the overall experience.
28/07/2025: Very cheap very tasy high quality food. Staff are lovely too. if you’re looking for a place to eat this definitely is it definitely recommended.

28/06/2025: We went here for brunch. I got a toasted sandwich and I noticed hair on top of it. First, I thought it could have been mine and didn't say anything. But then I found more hairs inside the sandwich so they literally couldn't have been mine. Returned this sandwich back to the till. The woman at the till accused me of putting my hair into the sandwich. More than that, she called me stupid for thinking it was their hair. Instead of an apology...such terrible customer service! Rudest staff I've ever encountered.

21/08/2025: Large bag of chips, 4.30e. I don't know what is wrong with this place, but obviously staff need a proper training. You can get double or triple that for 3.50e in a local chipper. Shocking.
29/07/2025: Absolutely shocking food. The worst take away from a chipper that we have ever had.
We ordered 2 fresh cod, 2 large chips and a 3 piece snack box. The chips tasted and looked like they were reheats and had been lying around since lunchtime. The fish tasted like it had come out of a freezer in the supermarket, it certainly did not taste like a fresh cod. There was more batter than fish and it was really soggy. The chicken was ok but everything else was thrown into the bin.

11/04/2025: Good quality food, excellent service, top pints, fantastic atmosphere, and plenty r&r to be done after grub. Love me some pinball! Would recommend.

10/08/2025: Food good, service good and a generous portion. However, if you bring me prawn crackers when I didn't order it please have the decency not to charge €3.50 for it. Thanks but it was put on my bill...I was charged €25.50 when it should have been ( 11+4.50+6.50) ie €22

20/03/2025: by far my favorite take away,out of four take aways in an area where old people go to die,like salmon,there's usually Mammy's and Granny's that force feed,yet all do well,each has its own niche,but Papas is run by the sweetest people,the food is amazing,I went in to drop off sweets last night,it's nice to be nice,the Chef asked me why I hadn't ordered my food for a while,it's been a few months,I'm renovating my house,I wouldn't eat at my place at the moment...he knew what I ordered,so getting the fantastic Italian Inferno pizza later,I'll sit on the wall,I couldn't recommend more.
