14/12/2024: We were so happy to find this place after a long hike in the Ticknock forest. And it was just 2 minutes walking from our parking space. The coffee and barista were amazing - totally met our expectations. We didn't order any sweets or sandwiches, but the variety and quality looked impressive for a small coffee place in the middle of the forest.

25/08/2024: Unassuming Chinese takeaway with extremely reasonable prices for the tastiest Chinese food I've had. Recommend the satay chicken, big bold flavours and fresh veges. Delicious!

23/08/2024: The sushi at the restaurant was absolutely amazing! Not only that, but the staff and atmosphere were also top-notch. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

30/11/2024: We had the pleasure of being served by Gosia during our stay, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. She was not only professional but also incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel truly valued throughout our meal. Her knowledge of the menu and helpful suggestions made our dining experience even better. It was clear she genuinely cared about our experience, and her kindness and efficiency stood out. 30/12/2024: Kebab for 10e with a small portion of old meat and only with lettuce and onion. The fries you pay for, you get reheated and not good. How can you not know how to fry fresh frie? You pay the price for fresh food, not for reheated and not good. The order cost 40e and is a disappointment. I do not recommend, it's a waste of your money

20/12/2024: Ordered using ubereats. Food arrived 1.5 hours after ordering. I missed a call from the restaurant so i called back a couple of minutes later, I was then rudely informed that the driver had dropped the food at the wrong house because I had missed a phone call 2 minutes prior (despite my missed call being from the companies landline). They proceeded to tell me very rudely that it was my fault, however in the meantime they had miraculously remade my food. The driver had also picked it up in the minutes between the missed call, delivering the food to the wrong house and me calling back. I was told he would be with me in 5 minutes. Thr driver called me off a mobile 5 minutes later and delivered the food. I quizzed him on which one of my neighbours he had dropped the original order with and he admitted it was all a lie and that the restaurant was just really busy and my order had got delayed. Food was OK.

28/12/2024: My preferred Chinese take away. I have never had any issues with the food or service. I recently had an issue with an online order, my fault not the restaurant. And they went out of their way to resolve my issue and sent another driver with the required replacement. Very much appreciated and grateful for their assistance. Food enjoyed by all.

07/12/2024: Ordering there for years and yrs. Used to be the best takeaway in the village. Unfortunately it has changed recently and flavours are not the same anymore. For example, my favourite starter chicken wings with garlic, chilli and salt - good price and a takeaway box full of yummy wings- I used to order an extra hot portion, wings were fresh, not covered in a thick dough but lovely and moistured by fresh onions, fresh chillies and garlic, extra hot had African chillies added and the dish was absolutely amazing. Ordered it today after a while and got few bits of wings covered in a thick dry red dough, all flavoured with powders like chilli and garlic. You would not be able to see fresh chillies in it anymore. Onions were also not fresh but a frozen mix of onions, sweet peppers and carrots! The usual mix u can find in any Thai restaurant lately...packed in a small paper box....for a higher than usual price...sad to see something good like that gone that bad, flavours and dishes matching all other takeaways in the area...I understand the price has gone up but the way of serving and cooking should not have to change as it was great. Pls bring our old Thai Yummy back as it was one in a million before it became one like million!

29/07/2024: Don't know from where the positive ratings do come from!? It took almost 15min before someone came to take my order. I had a drink, starter and main course which came after another 40min... except the drink which I had to remind them and then was brought after I was half through my meal. The chicken Masala was ok but not really tasty. The Nan bread was dry and more like a carton. The waitress was not unpolite but very distant w/o a smile in her face (perhaps she had a bad day!?). Also the ambience of the restaurant was not really comfortable. At least it was long ago since I've been at such disappointing restaurant. The only thing on the positive side was the prices which are low compared to Dublin level.

13/10/2024: A mocha on a take away cup when I’m sitting in the cafe ? I asked and he told me all mochas go in a take away cup! We have sat in 4 times in just this years and never received a mocha in a coffee cup while sitting down !!! Wdaf !!! Cannot taste the Belgian chocolate like I did yday or any other day I sat in or took away! Got a mocha yday and it tasted way better and more chocolate flavour like I have received every other time in here! The guy clearly wasn’t happy or confused my partner went up to complain! Useless custowmrs service! Very slow at cleaning up after other customers! We had to clear our own table!

22/09/2024: Unusual ist in the door on Sunday morning. Superised to see crumbs on chairs tables and floor unsweepted for Saturday trading

31/10/2024: A nice clean,busy environment. Service was efficient and professional. Food was of a good quality and portion size was good. There was a limited menu, particularly if one doesn't like chicken but nevertheless I had a wonderful salmon dish that was delightful.

09/10/2024: This is a very popular spot. Quite busy at 1 on a Wednesday. My husband loved his fish cakes but I was still hungry after my prawns ( 5 in total) .

02/01/2025: Wife and I were out for the night, she was all dressed up and hoping to get ploughed. Found this fine establishment but unfortunately, Lee got there first. The wife got rode red raw in the cleanest jax she said she's ever seen. Enjoyed the nachos but I had to take two stars off because the telly showed the Irish lad getting kicked out of the darts and it was awful noisy in the place. Could have done with some live music. It was hard going alternating between the racket from the kitchen, the bathroom and the wife. Lee is some man, gave me a commemorative singing fish to take home.

01/01/2025: Was walking around town in the pouring rain looking for a place to watch the darts and came across this absolute utopia of a spot. Really welcoming vibe in there with great craic among both patrons and staff alike. Pints were amongst the finest this side of the Lee. The owner was shooting a few lasting glances at the missus but other than that a top top experience. I think at one point I even saw the owner unclog a rather nasty looking toilet. Was quite a Sight! Would recommend.

13/10/2024: It was decently fast service compared to how many orders they had so obviously a lot of people like the food here and I did too. The curry is pretty top-notch and one of the owners made me rice with mushrooms

14/12/2024: I’m coming to this Chinese for 30 years for chips and gravy the taste has never changed which honestly is amazing, I can’t think of anywhere else in cork where you can buy food that’s tasted the same for 30 years

13/12/2024: Got a kebab tray and it's absolutely delicious, lashings of sauce on it Jam packed with meat and the service I got was over the top. I dropped money as I was putting my change into my purse and didn't realise as it was a note. They called me over and asked if I lost money, I checked and realised I did and stated I did and how much and they gave it back. Anywhere else I've been to before would of put it in the tip jar, so that alone was going to get this place 5 stars! The flavor of that kebab meat though is absolutely gorgeous

02/12/2024: Worst customer service, very rude staff.

20/10/2024: Great food. Had a great take away from here after a hard week. Delivery is a little slow, but worth the wait.
