The best restaurants

21/09/2025: Soooo this place doesn’t actually exist on this location. Don’t know who’s posting but as of Saturday night 9/29 this doesn’t exist /9 don’t fall for it especially if you’re drunk and hungry!!!

10/08/2025: The worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in Ireland. Stomach turning greasy and undercooked. Had to throw the bag out on the way home. Also charged extra for simple condiments. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

21/03/2026: Miserable value food. Take away only, no seats or toilets. Paid €12 each for "Fish & Chips" but l the portions we got were more like "Chips & a fish goujon", compared to most places would be a half portion of fish, and it didn't taste good either! Asked for salt and vinegar on the chips; although the chips were ok quality, there was only a trace of vinegar on them, one portion had hardly any salt while the other chips had sooo much salt, I had to brush salt off of each chip before eating, they were sparkling with salt, I like salty but that was too much! It was just thown out at us, even though they weren't even busy. The place is obviously catering to the after pub market and don't care much about their customers.

24/10/2025: I ordered through deliveroo and wanted to add dietary requirements but there was no option to add notes and neither the restaurant was picking up the calls in business hours.Tried calling multiple times.Disappointed with the service

19/10/2025: best takeaway in Dublin - go here after every night out - unreal falafel kebab. My non vegan friend loves the lamb kebab. top spot with friendly staff. yup ricos.

30/05/2026: I really wish the food was nicer here. It’s not often chips are so bland and poorly cooked that they’ve to be spat out. Much better options around town like TJ Bella’s or even pizza palace across the road.

23/04/2026: I ordered a breast meal and the breast was like 20 days old. Never again.

05/03/2026: Supposed to be one of the nicest Chinese in Carlow. It didn’t disappoint. Nice 3&1, and chicken balls are lovely. Don’t forget to order sweet n sour sauce with them

05/05/2026: Used to be one of the best spice bags in drogheda. Got one last night and not even any veg in it, and covered in some sort of powder.

04/05/2026: I’ve ordered from here a few times over the past couple of months, and my experience has been quite different from some of the reviews here. Most recently I ordered spicy bag and a cantonese duck, and the food arrived hot, well packaged, and tasted fresh. Portion sizes were good and the delivery time around 45 minutes, reasonable for the time of day. One thing I did notice while reading other reviews is that some of the photos look very similar to the takeaways online menu images (almost like zoomed in versions especially James O'Brien and ya Vid, which I found) which is a bit odd 😅. Overall, I’ve had a positive experience and would order again.

13/06/2026: Ignored by one member of staff, other was very polite. Toilet door does not lock, sheet of paper taped to it asking people to knock first. Despite this I was given a code for the door, are all the staff aware? Hand dryer not working/no tissue to dry hands. Drink order was wrong, lid also cracked so drink was leaking down side of cup. Drink was takeaway so didn't bother going back as I had left before realising the order was wrong. Wouldn't bother coming back.

08/04/2026: I had a lovely experience in this shop! I went in on a Saturday, on the 28th of March. The barista looking after me, Liam, was so polite and kind and helped my sister choose her drink as she is quite indecisive! It really made me happy because sometimes people get impatient with her. I would absolutely come back to this Costa based on this experience alone, but the drink was also really tasty :-)

26/06/2026: Very disappointed with the food. Heard great things, only to be given chips with no salt n vinegar when requested it and chips were definitely not fresh, they were dry, cold and definitely left out all day. Chicken burgers very plain. Curry cheese chips had barely any curry. Would not order again

09/06/2026: In my top 3 taco chips in cork, great portion and good flavour. Price portion quality ratio is excellent. Maybe not my favorite flavor wise that I have tasted but when you take into account what your getting as a whole it's near the best I have had.

29/05/2026: It's been awhile since I've ordered here, my last experience wasn't good and I was late home and not in the mood for cooking. I'd hoped it might have improved, alas, wishful thinking, had ribs and salt and chilli prawns to start, the ribs were terrible, nothing much in the line of actual meat on them and the bit of meat there was was way over cooked and hard.seems to have been in the oven for a week keeping warm. The prawns were a rock of salt, uneatable.my mains was flavourless as was my missus's, (beef black bean, and spicy shredded beef) Black bean sauce was just water, no taste whatsoever. Wife's. Beef was all super no spice. And it wasn't cheap to boot, never again

05/06/2026: The worst food i had. i got a spice bag and the chicken was slimey and tasted like a sausage and the chips were undercooked and the spice bag had no seasoning whatsoever. i do not recommend.
