13/10/2025: Waiter was extremely rude as I was trying to pursue my career as a facebook influencer. My cookie was served to me as in the picture. When I asked she said it was labelled as a "Crumbl Cookie". Disgrace!!!! (especially when it was €6). Very unsatisfied, will not be returning

28/01/2026: Have been ordering from here for the past 6 months. Easily 2-3 times a week. Past 3 deliveries have taken over 2 hours to deliver! I wouldn’t mind but we’re literally up the road! Fuming by the time it gets here, food cold. Never again! Good luck

19/11/2025: We had the Spice Box, which was 90% chips. A bit of peppers and onions and tiny bits of some kind of chicken-like oroduct. it was not like goujons, you know, more like artificial tasted chicken you can get in the worst deli, which iflevwn our dog disliked. Will not recommend it!

16/10/2025: Do not book a booth with this club. They will take your money and then at the door say you’re too intoxicated even though we were completely sober and then they will sell the booth to someone else for extra money.

29/01/2026: Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. The beef was unbelievably good quality, the sauce was amazing, and even the buns were perfect. Everything just worked together so well. You can really taste the freshness. The service was also really good, and we really appreciated the free sides as well 😜🫰 This place is a must-try — we absolutely loved it!

22/01/2026: Terrible experience. Free sides on a Thursday! I ordered 3 burgers and wait a bit longer than I expected in which time a little crowd of customers had gathered . Eventually my order was ready . I asked was there fries with my burgers ( assuming so ) . I hadn’t been informed about the special ( free sides on a Thursday) when I was ordering and I somehow just presumed that there would be fries .The young girl serving turned and looked at her boss and with a very angry head on him he very rudely asked if I had ordered them . I was embarrassed to be spoken to in such a manner in front of about half a dozen people. Some fries were put into a box and the bag handed to me . I was mortified. Got home to discover one side of fries not 3 and cold burgers . Never again .

28/11/2025: I was 4 minutes sitting inside the pub with a lovely group to enjoy one Christmas drink. The older barman accosted my poor friends with a sign in his hand angrily gesticulating stating everyone on the premise must buy a drink. 3/4 of my group had drinks. As I said we were here for one drink not making a night of it. He continued until I had to speak up and point out how poor his behaviour was. To launch an attack on an unsuspecting group who have entered and sat in a respectful manner. It is Christmas party season. The Slipper pub is half empty on a Friday night. Said barman has spend the last 20 minutes watching my friends and is now loudly commenting on his side of events to his cronies at the bar. Shameful behaviour. Very very poor experience.

29/11/2025: I usually enjoy a pizza max pizza Unfortunately last night I got one and the meat tasted off on the pizza 😕 Chicken tenders are tasty And deal is a good price But having a 16inch pizza you have to throw due to the toppings tasting off feels like a waste of money 😞

28/10/2025: Crazy no drinks with a 30 euro Meal I would not touch the place again. Scandalous behaviour. Every other pizza gives the drinks except this one.

26/07/2025: If this Chinese takeaway was any better, I’d propose to it. Every single dish is very good, crispy, flavorful, and made with so much care. Myself and my wife were here for holiday staying in the Fitz caravan park. I have to say, the bad reviews of this place here on google is so fake. Otherwise there has been huge improvement because i couldnt recommend this place enough. The crispy chilli beef absolutely beautiful with a perfect balanced between sweet, spicy, and crunchy. The salt and chilli chips are so addictive. Portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the owner and counter girls are such genuine beautiful people always chatty and friendly and carry a smile that could cure depression. The food arrives piping hot, even when delivered, and every bite tastes like it was made fresh because it was. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice. It’s not just the best Chinese takeaway in town it’s the kind of place that ruins all other takeaways for you. 10/10, no notes, just pure deliciousness. 🥢🔥

29/01/2026: First time ordering Indian from here yesterday and I’m seriously impressed! Food is class, full of flavour and proper portions. Everything arrived hot && fresh, couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be ordering again!!!

27/12/2025: I always order Saag Paneer from this place coz it's really nice. But last night I ordered a saag paneer main portion, there were only 6 tiny pieces of Paneer in it, used to get big chunks of paneer previously. I was disappointed, as I couldn't enjoy the full meal without paneer in it. Won't be buying from here again.

21/12/2025: I wouldnt recommend McDonald's coolock I was in there getting food as I stood at the counter waiting on my food I seen a worker up on a ladder cleaning vents in the ceiling above where they prepare food so I told the manger he should no do it as a coustmor complaint and I told him I would never eat in there again I would not recommend mc Donald's newtown

20/11/2025: This place is quite consistent in messing up orders, today was the last straw for us. No accountability. The food here is barely worth it if their service was any good, without that this place is an easy skip. Recommend to avoid.

14/11/2025: Absolutely beautiful chips! My son got a chicken burger, and I got a quarter pounder, both cooked to perfection! My other son who had Autism will only eat some batter sausages and he devoured the batter sausages from here. The man serving was polite and very fast considering he was serving alone. Keep up the great service and food! We thoroughly enjoyed 🥰 Thank you!

30/10/2025: I got a pepperoni pizza with chicken curry chips out of Hot Corner Pizza and Kebabs in Waterford City for delivery. The pizza was not up to standard, as there was a lack of cheese on the pizza and the toppings were only something from the supermarket, as they should use better quality ingredients for their pizza, because you are paying the price for good food. Also the chips weren't nice either, as they were cold on the outside and extremely hot on the inside. The chicken tastes rubbery also and the curry was mediocre, tasting like Chef or McDonnell's Curry, as you would expect better tasting curry for the price you were paying for the food. Overall, the food was not great out of Hot Corner. The service was a lot worse, because I got it delivered. First off, the delivery was late, which is not on. This shows that this restaurant is not punctual. Also I did not get an apology for the late delivery, as it is common courtesy to do so. When I collected my food from the delivery driver, he seemed a bit rude, as he did not look like he wanted to be delivering food, but still. It costs nothing to be nice. As I have not been to the restaurant itself, I am giving the atmosphere 0 starts. Hot Corner, cop yourselves on and manage your restaurant better or else you will just lose customers. Thanks.

14/10/2025: "WOW"...finally, I found a fast food place that reminds me of home, Liverpool City. I ordered the large pizza (Margherita) large donner kebab (fresh salad, tender tasty lamb meat) and chips (proper fat, chunky real potato chips), DEELISH food., and delivered for 3euro.. "The Hot Corner" Barrack St, I will not go nowhere else now... Nice one lads ... 5 Star fast food and very reasonable priced,.....15euro pizza, large donner n chips...STILL in 2025 the best
