The best restaurants

03/01/2025: Ordered food for delivery on the website which I’ve done numerous times in the past without any hassle. The restaurant proceeded to ring and demand an extra five euro in cash or otherwise they wouldn’t deliver my food? This has to be illegal, could hear the delivery driver saying “this is bullshit” on the phone too. He also told the girl on the phone that where we lived was “ages away” which it isn’t obviously because the website allowed us to order it, and it had charged us €5 already for delivery. Used to order from here all the time but I’m going to order from Lucianos now instead.

26/10/2024: New setup now doing fish and chips with more regular opening hours. We had 2 different fish n chips with bottle of house white, 1 dessert & 1 coffee for €83. Was it worth it? Well the food was really good so top marks for that. However the place is devoid of warmth and feel good factor. The warm welcome was non- existent from the man in the hatch that checked us in. The decor is cold and the attempt at being a cool casual quirky place just doesn’t work. It’s basically an eat and go fish n chips setup which might suit the owners …… but not the customers. Oh and €33 for house wine in a cafe is taking the ….

13/10/2024: Very very poor experience. Portion size is 1/3rd of what we get from other places for the same price. Cold food served with no cutlery. Very bad experience.

24/11/2024: 3 hours wait for two kebab wraps and when got here food was barely warm

08/10/2024: Very clean place with fast and friendly service Excellent and plentiful food, spectacular chips!!!! Super recommended!!!!

14/09/2024: Best fish and chips I've had in ages. They took care to make sure everyone was served and got what they were after. I'd be back in no time if I didn't live on the other side of the island.

03/08/2024: Got a Chinese awful chips reheated, beef green pepper black bean sauce packed with noodles hardly no beef, rice taste less 23.50e not even a drink with it or prawn cracker. Never again

24/11/2024: I've walked past this takeaway many times in wicklow town but never got a delivery because they don't have an app. Rang them last night got a munchy box, Tom yum soup and Thai green curry with pork Munchy box was simply outstanding, really good chips chicken was crispy and everything felt light, curry sauce was class too. Wouldn't recommend the soup, really watery and got maybe 4 tiiiny pieces of shrimp. Thai green curry was also really watery but the pork was really good Will order again next time

Los camareros parecían inexpertos y mal entrenados, a menudo desapareciendo hacia atrás y mostrando una actitud indiferente, como si estuvieran allí para cobrar un cheque de pago con el mínimo esfuerzo. Además de eso, el bar estaba fuera de muchas bebidas, así que no esperes obtener exactamente lo que quieres si estás pidiendo aquí. Los baños estaban en pésimas condiciones, con inundaciones que hacían casi imposible usarlos sin calzado impermeable — las botas Wellington habrían sido ideales. En cuanto al ambiente, carecía de la autenticidad de un verdadero bar irlandés. Hay muchas mejores opciones en el área de Temple Bar, y esto debe considerarse como un último recurso. La única razón por la que di dos estrellas es por la música en vivo.

07/12/2024: Visited here with family, very very disappointed, the restaurant was so busy with take outs and was very short staffed. We waited 1hour and a half for main course which was Luke warm, weren't even presented with cutlery. No one approached our table to see if everything was ok. When we said it to the waiter he was quite rude. Wouldn't return here again. He in return said that is your choice.

28/10/2024: The worst Indian food I have ever had. We ordered a range of curries from chicken balti, chicken tikka balti, chana bhuna, lamb bhuna and tarka dhal. All of the curries were a bright orange colour, in a watery sweet sauce. They all tasted the same. The naan bread was stale and old. We called the restaurant to complain and they basically told us to deal with it and that they have never had a complaint after 20 years. That’s not what their Google reviews seem to say, it seems like everyone had the same experience as us. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but can’t believe the service we recieved after spending over €100. There is nothing authentic about this place. If you want old, stale, flavourless food which will get you unwell then this is the place to visit

04/01/2025: Comparing the price to what you receive, the food comes up lacking, paired with the fact that more often than not some aspect of the order is wrong or missing, I can't recommend Milano's unless you're stuck.

07/01/2025: It's really hard to rate a supermarket that just kinda does what you expect of it. -1 star for the cramped isles that makes it hard for two people to pass each other but that's city centre i guess.

24/12/2024: Lovely small Trad pub g8 place to meet friend& Family at Christmas. Cash only so bring some, no frills but very nice. Park in the estate opposite the traffic lights. Happy Christmas to everyone today 💝🎁❤

19/12/2024: Friendly place with 1 good staff member, friendly customers who like having the craic. But for now It's going downhill. Probably because of the way the other staff treat the customers?
