The best restaurants

20/12/2025: Terrible staff. Can't get a single order right. Always missing items. Food always cold. I just received a deliveroo order that was 75% missing. Driver not at fault. Can't comprehend how bad this place is. Stay away at all costs.

06/12/2025: Fuming to get home and realise they ignored what we requested to Not be on 2 different burgers , double cheese melted into burger for a cheese intolerant person , also omitted sauces requested , either very stupid or just dont care

13/10/2025: I have been getting Apache (Burgerhut Hollyhill) for a good few years. When the food is good, it's really enjoyable. But the food isn't always good (particularly the chips), and as a consequence, I feel the need, to write a review, in the hope, it will encourage Apache, to make some improvements. When ordering chips from Apache, staff will often serve you chips, that have been lying in the tray, for God only knows how long, mixed in with some freshly cooked chips.. Can I ask Apache management, why serve customers, old cooked chips, mixed in with fresh cooked chips..???? Its a very mean act, and I have to throw these chips in the bin, as they are hard & horrible. Why mix old, hard, precooked chips, that have been lying in the tray, with fresh cooked chips, and then serve them to a customer..?? Customers, should only be served, FRESHLY COOKED CHIPS..!! Can I ask Apache management, why you don't automatically serve your pizza's box's, in a paper bag..? If a customer orders a pizza, they may have to walk for 15 or 20 minutes, to get home. Carrying the pizza box, with no bag, means the Pizza, will lose a lot of heat, and the pizza can be cold, when the customer gets home. Also why don't you automatically serve the donor box, and chicken spice box, in a paper bag..? Again, these food boxes, are cold, by the time a customer walks home. Also the donor & chicken spice box, can leak sauce, which can destroy a car seat (if the customer is driving home) The stout, middle aged, short haired lady, that works in Apache, gets a bad pain, if a customer asks for a bag, to put a pizza box in, or donor/chicken spice box into.. Can I ask Apache management, to please supply, proper fitting, paper bags, and to offer them to customers, who are being served food, served in a box. Its really frustrating, having to continuously ask staff, for a proper fitting paper bag, to carry pizzas and spice boxes home in. I must say, most of the staff, are very obliging, when you ask them for a bag, with the exception, of the stout, middle aged, short haired lady, who always seems, to always have an issue, and an excuse, when a customer asks for a bag. If Apache, could introduce a policy, of not serving old, precooked chips to customers, and sort out the issue of supplying customers, with proper fitting, brown paper bags, to customers ordering food in boxes, (Particularly the issue, the stout, middle aged, short haired lady has, of placing food boxes into a paper bag) I will come back and give an up to date review. 31/07/2025: We really enjoyed X Spice, its tasty dished like the Hot Box and its friendly owner and staff. Sadly it closed permanently this month.

20/03/2026: If you want to spend the next hour in the bathroom go there. 💩 On their card are six different Kebaps - a group of me and two friends ordered all different ones and also different spice levels but when we came to pick them up and asked which one is which the guy said they are all the same.

18/03/2026: Really slow service, poor quality food for the price, and rude and slow staff. The kebab was badly wrapped, making it impossible to eat, and we weren't asked what we wanted inside—luckily, we didn't have any food intolerances or allergies! The fries were cooked in obviously used oil and tasted horrible, with a fishy aftertaste. The wait was over half an hour for two kebab rolls and two fries, and there was no one in front of us. Instead, we were served after a group of five people who arrived ten minutes after us. It turned out our kebabs had been ready for at least 10 minutes, but were just sitting there "abandoned" on their countertop. Obviously, they didn't offer to remake them and serve them hot. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

18/09/2025: Rang to ask about food as it was nearly a hour since ordered. Girl that answered was lovely, when she asked whoever in the background was rude & swearing , i asked to speak to a manger “owner” and he spoke disgusting trying to say it wasnt said and it was, didnt even apologise for it either, straight up being defensive said “ i was beside her” then when i rang second time to cancel for refund because of how rotten they spoke to customers said “ i asked the girl what she said” so where you beside her or not? More lies from the buisness. you can hear it clear of how she spoke, so i dont know how i can hear it on the phone and beside her people couldnt, and then he tried saying she was talking about another order although i just asked about mine? Turned me off the place completely.

04/07/2025: Honestly bad food this place has fell off. Chips are disgusting. Who ever is in charge of putting sauces on the food must be paying for the sauces themselves because they’re so miserable. Food not cheap either will never ever order again

14/10/2025: My favorite place in town, really nice I often order food there. The food is always delicious. One time, when I was there with family, the place looked really clean. Also the location is good because the restaurant is located in the town center. They have a pleasant atmosphere. I love their interior. Another advantage is that they have delivery facilities and a big variety of dishes. The price is okay, not very expensive, you can eat and not spend too much money. Minuses You wait for food for about 20-25 min. I think it's quite long. The entrance is dirty, the floor is old and dusty, walls are not in a good condition. It's boring because there is no music. They have no parking spaces. Anyways, it’s a good place overall to visit with friends and family.

04/01/2026: Very good quality. Order and collection is on time. But, being a takeaway, there is no soace to sit inside.

21/11/2025: Waited 1 and a half hours for a pizza. When I came they said they hadn't received the order, I ordered again and waited an hour they wouldn't even look in my direction and other customers were the same there was 4 people left while I was waiting because they hadn't even been asked what they wanted for 30 min. They told me it was coming out of the oven a few times the last time I got ones attention guess what he said? "1 min sir it's just coming out of the oven" I said that's what you told me 30 min ago and left. 20 min after they ring to say sorry about the delay can you come get your food? 2 hours later my 1 pizza is ready. Disgraceful manor of there staff and cannot register a complaint with four star it's a joke of a company. 0 stars

06/03/2026: Came here after a gig… now this review is 5 stars for the minute as it was a top 3 spice bag I have ever had and I have had many (could have been because I was drunk idk) I will be returning to see if passes the test the one test to rule them all CONSISTENCY.

03/01/2026: After eating here I’ve not stopped being sick all day and going to the toilet… u can get what I mean by that , extremely bad food poisoning and this Chinese is the only thing I ate from yesterday

21/09/2025: I ordered a pizza deal that came with chicken tenders I received this order at 11.35 den got a phone call back 30 minutes after I received this meal to ask me if the food was OK I did not think nothing off this at the time but den I woke up dismorning with every symptom of food poisoning I call them today to ask why they called me to see if my food was OK to get told they did not ring asking about my food that they rang to see if the driver got der very strange it's safe to say I will never eat from this company again 🤮🤮🤮

20/08/2025: While staying in Dublin, I ordered from the "best pizza on the planet." A pizzeria next to my Airbnb, I was delighted with my meal. The pizzas are generous and quite large. The staff is very friendly at the reception. I highly recommend it.

16/10/2025: Yummy vegetarian options - the Szechuan and Chop Suey (I think that was what it was called… the garlicky one) were grand

12/08/2025: We like how there is a variety, they’ve got you covered. We usually mix and match black bean beef for me, thai curry for my partner and salt and chilli wings as a must have side. Never disappoints

28/10/2025: Always forgets a part of an order usually drinks or a side , rang them to say my prawn crackers were not in my bag from getting a delivery I was told over the phone “well there only prawn crackers” if I pay for something I expect to get it

30/11/2025: We got €50 food delivered from here tonight. It was genuinely awful. Like truly inedible. The breast of chicken curry was tasteless and paste like with "chicken" with a spongey, disgusting texture. Salt N Pepper chicken was like pork scratchings. Chicken Chow Fan was vile. Slimy and just grim. Thai basil stir fry was terrible. The chips and boiled rice were acceptable.

06/12/2025: Unfortunately I thought the food was awful . Service was good . Went with my kids my daughter and I got taco fries and they were freezing and horrible . We through them in the bin . I ordered my daughter a 6 inch pizza then there was a blonde hair in it . She said the pizza was nice up to that point . I also ordered another bag of chips with pizza as well were starving and they were lovely . My other son and daughter with me had chops and they were fine in total spent like €45. The Girls were lovely anything but chips were awful . Sorry to say hope this helps the chipper improve
