The best restaurants

22/04/2026: Went here as a last resort for a late lunch/early dinner since most restaurants were closed on a Tuesday. We got the seafood platter and the haddock platter. About 6 hours later we were welcomed with the worst food poisoning ever. Do not eat here.

22/04/2026: Kebab was amazing flavourful and make me full with happiness. And when I say filled with happiness I mean it. Chips and pizza to die for ! When the flavours were melting I saw Jesus for the first time . Definitely recommend this amazing food and people . Chuzas the goat (Abdul Rafay)

28/02/2026: Put in an order of over €100 tonight. The chicken and cheese rolls were disgusting, and they’re normally good. The chips were soggy and we ordered a portion of meat sung and we were given shreds of brown putrid leaves - it looked like it was left in the back of a fridge for a year. Pls avoid this place if you don’t want to 💀 early 🫶🫶

06/06/2026: Worst food ever, the fish and chips (cod meal) was awful. The fish was some square bar from the fridge and the chips are so bland and just horrible.

It’s not fish at all rather a fish paste patty moulded into shape , frozen fish fingers from pound shop are 10 times better than this vile atrocity they sell here, it should be illegal to call that thing fish, please check other reviews before you buy! 06/04/2026: Their spice bag is gone to the dogs. Years ago it was absolutely top tier, loads of colour and flavour and the chicken was crispy but juicy, now the spice bag is completely beige, no seasoning, so dry, their chicken isn’t the same they obviously have a different supplier now and went cheaper. Don’t understand why they would let the ball slip on what they became so popular for? Much better spice bags elsewhere now

20/03/2026: this is the saddest chinese ive ever had. The order took over an hour and a half and the spicy chicken was soggy, bland and cold. We ordered 10 chicken balls and we only got 7, they were greasy and had barely any chicken. This ruined my happy friday and the guy that delivered it was on a phone call.

19/08/2025: We had lunch in the his bar and found it average at best, we were upstairs over looking the bridge, the view was good but the seating was old, with damaged tember and very uncomfortable, this bar/restaurant would need to take advantage of their location and give the place a well needed makeover. The staff were very friendly and the food was fresh.

09/05/2026: Food came out in literally 30 seconds after ordering. Stale and seemed to be reheated poor service no forks given and staff very unfriendly, food was not good and did not taste right. Chips were hard as rocks and everything seemed stale/gone off

18/04/2026: Started to queue here last week but the floor was visibly dirty. Covered in paper and food everywhere - made my stomach turn. Immediately turned around and went to Nandos next door. Used to love going to this specific Eddie's all the time but the cleanliness seems to have gone downhill. It was about 30 mins before close, so maybe staff had left already or were waiting till close to start cleaning, but it wasn't super busy - if that's what the front of house is like I can only imagine what the kitchen must be like - not very appealing or appetizing. Lost a long-time customer.

17/05/2026: Location is easy to find. Great atmosphere, lovely food, and absolutely amazing service from a Polish lady named Beata — she was simply wonderful. We had a few starters and sea bass (my friend Noel Robert Jenkins said it was the best sea bass of his life). I got the lasagne, which was nice too. I definitely recommend this lovely place.

14/02/2026: Said give it a go again after many years .Wrong sauce in my duck and side portion missing and no answer to phone. Lesson learned i will not be returning

21/01/2026: We ordered 2 dinners both were watered down and it looked as if the veggies weren’t properly cooked. Ordered veggie spring rolls, they were however not veg as there was both meat and a shrimp in the roll. And there was a back blob in the boiled rice, I have no clue what that was.

22/02/2026: Yeah, i can really see why people are complaining about the salt in this place. I got a spice bag, and i'm finding it pretty difficult to eat with the saltiness. The woman at reception was really nice! I will probably get again but ask for less salt next time.

06/03/2026: Food is delicious although took some time to come. Great views with a swing. Workers are very nice. Getting here was hard I would recommend a 4x4 car

23/02/2026: The staff was very rude, poor service and overall quite a dirty establishment, our table was not properly cleaned after food had clearly been eaten on it earlier and crumbs all over the seat/floor.

05/05/2026: I ordered BBQ ribs ,4 in it , hardly any meat on any of them ,at least sometimes you might get two big ones and two small,defo not worth 8 euro,and asked for extra BBQ sauce on and they put less in than they normally would,won't be ordering again
