25/07/2025: I order here on a weekly basis same items for takeaway as in grilled and southern chicken burgers. I must have a dozen orders already and the food is always same - quick, great and fresh! The only problem is when I order a meal deal or go for any kind of chips, loaded etc. Chips are terrible every time, I'm unsure if is the subpar quality of them or they aren't meant to fry in the oil they use. Literally any other brand of chips would go a long way. I barely eat a few and always give up on them. Improve this aspect and you'll get a 5*. Silviu.

22/07/2025: Honestly, the chips here are consistently bad. I'm sick of ordering food here only to toss it uneaten in the bin. A chipper really should know how to make decent chips! The Carpenterstown branch is much better but doesn't deliver at lunchtime.

01/04/2025: Only one star for the waitress who had the only smile of the evening. A very rude bartender/manager who seemed to have nothing to do with us. Terrible service and non-existent friendliness. Change jobs, sir, if you don't like contact with your customers.

09/05/2025: Ok food (reason i'm giving more than 1 star) reasonably priced and clean. However the service I got was absolutely awful. I got the full irish which you get a free tee/coffee with. Personally I can't have caffeine (medical reasons), therefore I asked for a decaf coffee. Yes I could just ask for a hot chocolate or something however i thought for something different would be nice. I made it very clear to the waitress atleast twice of my order at the till, which seemed ok so I sat and waited. Fast forward 10 or 15 minutes later and she came with my cappuccino. I asked, to double check, if it's decaf to which she slowly said no. I then (again) explained i can't have caffeine and would like a decaf coffee instead. As she was taking it away she HUFFED as if it was all my fault. My friend noticed she wasn't writing anything down while ordering, and the restaurant was fair quite at the time (that said she did seem to be the only one behind the till.) God knows if I had another food intolerance. Again a few minutes passed and this other waiter came with a cappuccino. I asked if its decaf which he said yes to (this turned out to be my friend's which I didnt know we got the same drink lol). A few seconds later the same lady came out with my coffee. I again questioned if it was decaf where she said yes. At this point I gave it to my boyfriend as I felt couldn't trust them. After drinking it he said there's 100% caffeine in there (I definitely felt more awake after a few sips myself) The waitress seemed to not give a toss about being there. What makes it angry is the way she dealt with the situation. I also work in hospitality (including being a barista at times), and I myself had times where I might make a mistake. However I'd always rectify them and show good customer service. She literally lied to me about what type of coffee it was and made me feel bad for asking to send it back. The manegers really have to give their employees a customer service crash course or something Great start to the day 😃 A few extra points: at first I ordered a mocha, however was charged €12 when the menu said €11.50. When I asked about this she said the mocha was an extra 50 cents. She never said that prior nor as far as I could tell it said on the menu. Also the food came before the drinks, which i thought was a bit weird as usually its the other way around. These weren't not that much of a deal however, just thought I'll point these out aswell.

09/03/2025: Have tried the pasta a couple times and it was awful. Low quality and maybe cooked wrong. Chicken was chewy and flavourless. Other dishes could be good though

16/07/2025: Food is garbage. I've been cooking Thai food for decades and this is about as far off you can be from any semblance of authenticity. It's essentially the McDonald's of Thai food.

09/07/2025: Eat here last night, allergic to dairy so checked with the server about the meal I was ordering, he checked with the manager + I was assured there was no dairy in a Chicken Thai Red Curry with egg fried rice, that they only use coconut milk. I was sick as a dog afterwards, and was going onto a music event in the 3 Arena so my night was totally ruined. More care should be taken with folk with food allergies, might add the food was lovely - just clearly contained dairy 😭.

24/07/2025: Great hostel, nice facilities and great location. Only reason I’m not leaving a 5 star is the for the treatment by bar manager. The Argentinian bar manager shut down the Kareoke because I said to him he can’t run the bar and kareoke at the same time (the were understaffed). When the bartender came back he refused to run the kareoke as planned because he got butthurt by my feedback. Sorry his pride was hurt but he’s not a child he’s working there. Also his colleagues complained about him too so watch out for him!

24/07/2025: The hostel is not located in the city center, but it’s accessible within 10–15 minutes either by walking or taking the tram. That part was convenient enough. The bar food was okay, but the staff were completely indifferent—not friendly, not rude, just completely uninterested. The music in the common areas was so loud that it was impossible to get any personal tasks done or even have a quiet moment. Shared bathrooms and toilets were clean, which I appreciated. However, the en-suite bathroom in the room was poorly ventilated and honestly quite awful. From the hallway, there was already a damp, musty smell, and unfortunately, the same smell was in the room. I had booked three nights but ended up checking out after two because I just couldn’t stand it anymore. The staff at the front desk didn’t smile once. It was my first time in Dublin experiencing such robotic service. If it’s going to be that mechanical, they might as well just install a self check-in kiosk. The only good thing I can say is that there are a few decent cafés and supermarkets nearby. But overall, for the price I paid, I really don’t understand how this place has such high ratings.

12/04/2025: The Singapore fried rice was very good and the portion was massive. Spice bag was well, I'm not sure. The chips were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was as good as you get but the chicken? What was that? I've eaten my fair share of chicken but that was not chicken, certainly not like anything that I have ever tasted. It was oily and had a fat content that even brown meat of chicken does not have. Snake? I'm not sure, it was definitely not chicken.

22/06/2025: ⚠️AVOID⚠️ Food never arrived, no apology and also the SECOND time this has happened. Dissapointing is an understatement as the food is great ,service and attitude ,terrible.

02/06/2025: I got a takeaway on Saturday and I can honestly say, It was was the nicest Indian food I had in year's. Food was beautiful and fresh. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

26/06/2025: Got a meal today and the burger was well warmish asked for another got it replaced and it was still the same colder this time literally covered in sauce burger just kept slipping out of my hands this has happened a few times and it's getting worse last year I broke a tooth 🦷 on one of the chips and they offered only to cover the cost but wanted me to provide the details but yet to get a tooth fixed U need to have money upfront and I didn't have it I was expecting them to hand me the money to cover the cost of my tooth but they wanted me to pay out of my own pocket to get it done so then when I go back to them they can turn around and say they never agreed to it

20/05/2025: Best Chinese in the country. The chicken from the spice bag is so tender and juicy. It feels like I'm eating a juicy steak but instead of a Cow it's spicy crispy chicken. The atmosphere is unmatched. From the odd blokes outside the centra to the menu on the wall the atmosphere is pure insanity. You wouldn't get that in Croke Park. The aromatic Duck is so savory. It feels like Jesus christ himself came down and fed me a juicy duck flavored mattress. (In a positive way) I have been eating here since as far as I can remember and oh my word it's brilliant. One could even say Ginormous.
