23/06/2025: Went in to see about getting an empty syrup bottle (I explained the new syrup bottles I have doesn't match the pump I got) and you'd think one of the staff members paid for the bottles herself. They obviously go in the recycling bin when empty, but no, telling me to go buy a pump that suits my new bottle The other staff member was lovely and big hello and goodbye _____________ Unfortunately there were no opening times on the door so we went in around 330 and they had chairs etc on the table as getting ready to close up Super friendly girls who didn't want us to pay until after we had our items and then had a chat with me Tasty drinks, the girlfriend even finished her hot chocolate and she rarely does Reasonable prices with plenty of choices on the menu My personal preference is not having the scone hot (but it was actually nice), probably best to ask first Great to see two choices of alternative sugars Definitely will be back to try the many options on the menu

24/10/2025: I'm slow to leave negative reviews, but feel compelled to do so after buying food at Lina's this evening. I ordered a doner kebab and chips.My wife ordered a spice burger and chips. We got home and plated up our food only to discover the ridiculously small portion size. My doner kebab was about 8cm in length and was 90% lettuce with 3 slivers of kebab meat. The entire kebab wasc5 mouthfuls. My wife's spice burger was 3.5cm in diameter. This place is a joke and a ripoff. Ibwill never return. Plenty of better take aways in Wicklow Town that serve normal portion sizes.

10/09/2025: Absolutely awful. The only positive is that I made a fresh pair of shoes out of the rubbery, overcooked cod and batter.

21/09/2025: My stay at the Generator Hostel Dublin was a complete disappointment, and I can't recommend this hostel to anyone. As soon as I entered the room, it was clear that it didn't live up to my expectations. The room was tiny—smaller than a storage closet—and the space between the beds was so small that it was impossible to spread out a suitcase. On top of that, there was a massive pillar in the middle of the room, causing one of the beds to lean. This not only looked odd, but also created a dangerous gap that was easy to fall into at night. The cleanliness was appalling: the fan was completely covered in dust, the surfaces were covered in dust, and the shower was moldy and very dirty. The hot and cold water taps at the sink were reversed, which is simply annoying. The entire room was stuffy, hot, and consistently noisy—sleep was almost impossible. We also found insects in the room. The beds themselves were more reminiscent of hospital or psychiatric beds: cheap, hard, and extremely uncomfortable. The comforters were stained, partly dirty, and some beds even had crumbs in them. To make matters worse, one entire bed didn't even have power for the lights or outlets – meaning there was no lamp or charging facility. When we complained, the manager wasn't even available. Instead of a serious solution or compensation, we were only offered towels – a bad joke considering the many shortcomings. All in all, this stay was a disgrace. The price and the reality are completely out of proportion, so in my opinion, I wouldn't recommend this hostel.

20/09/2025: Great location, quiet area, fairly modern rooms. Cons: The flush was broken on the first day and was never looked at, and only half of the outlets worked.

04/12/2025: Dubble sausage and egg mc muffin was my order from the time i paid to collection was about 3 minutes, bear in mind that it was a quiet morning with only 5 or so people inside and drive through was empty

03/12/2025: This is the slowest mc donalds in ireland. If your going drive thru be prepared to sit in line for a half hour

10/08/2025: Waited over hour and half for delivery finally got it order was wrong and they forgot stuff rang up he sent driver back up still didn't receive my full order try to ring again and they had blocked my phone number since new owners took it over its gone to the dogs and the girl who answers the phone she may go back to school ill never order again from them or step foot in it

03/08/2025: The food in roma is very tasty and nice but the price has gotten ridiculous over the past few years,before the 2024 fleadh Cheoil the price of a kebab was 7 euro,then they put it to 8 and now for the 2025 fleadh they shot it up to 9,this is simply outrageous,the sheer greed of the place has put me of from ordering there anymore.

02/09/2025: Heard about Mulrooneys from our wholesaler, contacted them on in a bit of a rush with only a day to go before the big day, they were very accommodating and had the cake ready early the next morning, very good service, and a lovely cake

27/10/2025: We had a beef curry with fried rice and a spice bag. The beef was tender and the curry sauce had a good kick as we had asked for it to be spicy. The rice was average but nothing to complain about. The spice bag was tasty. Salty chips and tender chicken. Service was quick. If I’m ever back this way I’ll be back again

08/07/2025: Possibly the worst chinese on the island. They used tinned spam for the ham fried rice. (Rice wasn't even fried) Chicken kung po was literally just water and cornstarch to thicken it. Curry sauce was gritty and rancid. Avoid at all costs.
