10/12/2024: Not a bad place for some food, very big portions, I will be back again

27/11/2024: Stop off here recently and read the reviews and thought give it a go. Boy oh boy what can or should I say. Service was good, But the food was just about as bad as it can get. Must have new owners since last review, as no way any of this was fresh or even good quality frozen. Not be stopped again.

08/06/2024: Esta es la mejor tienda de kebabs de la ciudad. Ha existido durante años y nunca una vez me ha decepcionado. Conocido por todos los habitantes de Galway como el mejor del negocio, con una amplia gama de comida para todos. Mi ir para llevar.

19/12/2024: This was my second visit to this coffee shop. I didn’t like the coffee the first time but decided to give it another try—big mistake. The girl at the till spoke very little English, making communication difficult. I understand everyone needs to learn, but there should be someone supervising her. There were only two customers, but with just one staff member who couldn’t communicate well, service was slow. The coffee was bitter and undrinkable, even with syrup. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

22/12/2024: Staff were grate and helpful and toilets or clean as was the floor staff look happy to provide customer service and not rushing you off your seats can't fault it at all

06/12/2024: We liked this place. The food wasn't incredible but the service and atmosphere definitely made up for it. After a terrible service experience earlier in the day, it was refreshing to experience such attentive service.

15/12/2024: We've just has a meal in this establishment and I can't believe some of the negative reviews we had a positive experience from start to finish. The food and serving was exceptional and would definitely recommend for solid Indian cuisine at a very reasonable price.

18/12/2024: I’ve been here a few times in the past More then one occasion the front door staff try to make a example out of you before deciding if there going to let you in or not even when it’s more or less empty like it is most nights , i genuinely wouldn’t go back round the place

26/11/2024: Brilliant night out, staff and people were great and easy service at the bar. Accidentally left my jacket at the bar and the team had it ready for me. They couldn't have been more helpful. 11/10 Highly recommend.

12/01/2025: Great Food, But Overpriced and Stingy Perks China Kitchen in Leixlip serves undeniably superb food with quality ingredients, but the experience is soured by their blatant overpricing and poor customer service. While the dishes are flavorful and clearly made with care, the prices are sky-high. It’s hard to justify spending this much on a takeaway, no matter how good the food is. To make matters worse, they consistently forget to include prawn crackers with orders—something that should be standard with any Chinese takeaway. Their "freebies" policy is a joke. A free bottle of Coke or prawn crackers on orders over €30 or €60 might sound enticing, but it’s completely unrealistic. These token "perks" feel more like a marketing gimmick than a genuine gesture of appreciation for loyal customers. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least deliver on the small extras without making customers jump through hoops. China Kitchen may have quality food, but the overall value leaves much to be desired. If they want to keep customers happy, they need to revisit their pricing and service approach. Until then, it’s hard to recommend wholeheartedly.

09/01/2025: Previously I gave this place a 1 star review with the spice bag because they had given reheated chips and chicken that a dog wouldn't even eat. Always believe you should try a place again to see if there is any improvement. The chicken is still absolutely rancid and also the amount they give you in a spice bag is robbery. 4 small pieces on the top and a small piece on the bottom and the rest is just chips. Imagine spending that amount of money on a bag of chips and for chicken that tastes like rubber. It only got 2 stars this time because the chips weren't reheated this time but again its borderline 1. Worst spice bag I've ever had but they're all terrible in leixlip.

11/01/2025: Ordered through Deliveroo. Never got contacted when my delivery driver was here, no phone call, door bell rang or live location. When I tried to get a refund the restaurant refused to cancel the order and wouldn’t refund me. Wouldn’t order for delivery anyway…

20/10/2024: So enjoyed our meal this evening, by far the best Indian in this area. The flavours and tastes are second to none. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Always look forward to our meals.
