31/05/2025: Normally 100 percent and would rave about there pizzas to friends but called in for pizzas and few bits after been out with friends..
And ordered at the counter to the usual friendly staff where I clearly stated my orders and he even double checked my order where it was no cheese on the pizza..
Went home only to open the pizza box too a pizza staring up at me with cheese the disappointment on my face known I won’t have a pizza I very much looked forward too and the look the pizza gave me known it was never gonna give the satisfaction and pleasure it cooked to give was very disappointing considering the order was made in the shop..
I hope they do better in the future …

11/07/2025: My favourite Chinese takeaway around Ridgewood/Boroimhe/Swords. Extensive menu with some more original items and always consistently good. Staff and delivery drivers super friendly. Delivery and collection always super quick too. Can't fault them although it would be good to get a few free prawn crackers if the orders are over 25-30 euro 😉
08/07/2025: This place gets better and better. Nice curry sauce, crispy chicken balls. The Thai Prawn toast is something I hadn't had before and I'm addicted now.
Very friendly staff always.

13/04/2025: Ordered a chicken shish kebab, menu stated chicken breast, as is chicken shish anywhere else I've had it. Received some foul smelling minced thing, disgusting. Phoned and was told "this is our traditional shish".... straight to the bin.

13/07/2025: Ordered 4 sausage, bacon and white pudding sandwiches with 2 coffees which took 10 minutes just to explain, cost €70 and 15 minutes later we were given the complete wrong order and told we didn’t order coffee.
29/06/2025: Hmm ok, food was nice however…
15 minutes between the 2 breakfast rolls being delivered to our table.
Also had to go find our drinks that had just been left on the side.
Nice food but service wise is pretty rough…. Don’t bother if you are in a rush.

16/05/2025: One of the worst pubs I've ever frequented. Coffin sized with a pool table dominating the bar that nobody plays. Located beside a sad strip of shops and frequented by aul lads sitting at the bar nursing a Guinness. 0 atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend. Far nicer bars around with a bit of life.
*edit* to add to the sorry state of affairs the Takeaway operating from their kitchen is the same brand as the one in Smithfield that got closed down recently for 'fecal matter on the walls' amongst other appalling food violations. Just look it up and don't get a curry 😒

01/03/2025: Went into Little Man pub in Mallow as I was waiting on an appointment and was served by the nice gentleman owner relaxed into a comfortable armchair by a lovely wood burning stove and loved the nice relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend to everyone. For those who do visit. Enjoy.
15/02/2025: Refused drink based on “after having too many”. We were a group of 6 and no one had a drink yet. Very intimidating

Quality has gone through the floor the last few years. Don't think its the ingredients but the staff make bad pizzas consistently.
Food was 100% better when it was the students from UL working there.
19/02/2025: Way too overpriced for everything that comes from it. You will get disappointed for sure. The pizza is tasteless, and the garlic dip is extremely sour. The garlic bread is dry like the Sahara desert and even more tasteless than the pizza. The only good thing that came out of this is the Ben and Jerry's that I ordered. Just not worth the money honestly.

01/07/2025: Me and my family order from this takeaway for the first time . The atmosphere was great the lady working explained to us how to order and was kind. The wait for the food was short and the food was hot when it arrived. Unfortunately after arriving home one of the meals made us doubt if it was cooked all throughout. Upon further inspection the chicken was slightly raw and no longer appealing. The rest of the food tasted greasy and didn’t taste fresh .The crispy chilli chicken with honey was not crispy the chicken was soggy and the chicken was stretchy and difficult to cut.
Overall wouldn’t come again .

23/06/2025: Tried to get food delivery to my house in Ballybane (have gotten it many times in the past no issue) the website wouldn’t accept the address so I just rang to see what was wrong with the website. I then proceeded to have heated conversation towards me from an employee who answered the phone. I tried to explain the situation but the man immediately went irate at me explaining how I wasn’t getting food and to ‘shut up and listen’ and I wasn’t getting any food. I’m completely taken back cause in my years in Galway I have never once had a bad experience with Giovannis Galway. Genuinely the attitude of your man has turned me off the place now

Staff are always so lovely and friendly.
Pizza is the best around, it is super fresh and tasty, I never feel bad the next day after having a takeaway from here!

24/05/2025: Food quality was good earlier, but recently i asked for a portion of wedges, it cost 10 euros, which is highly expensive and quality also become bad. Naked pizza sucks! Further, mostly indian staff specially shubham, he is an idiot, threatening me remove review from google, should be sacked and brought to justice , do not have any customer service skills. I have never seen a pizza shop in my life, literally, where a staff is threating a customer to remove reviews.

13/05/2025: Visited Johnson ‘best’ food on a first time basis and had an awful time. Was well used on this occasion and as for the crowd being sometime more older i would say dont knock it to you try it most of the older guys know how to satisfy hungry guys and leave you hardly fit to walk. Nothing beats experience, the older guys are also more likely to join in group fun if like me you need more than one guy to play with at a time.
€15 delivery for a frozen log of goat hoof is a bit much. I’ll attach a picture of me defrosting the hoof.
