The best restaurants

16/06/2026: The staff ignored me when I went in there to order some food. I said hello several times but they continued to chatter in a language that sounded like Chinese. They turned, looked at me and continued with what they were doing. I am not white or Asian and found their behavior very racist. I am never going back!

07/03/2026: Put through an order online at 11:15 paid over 30e and then about 5 minutes later they cancelled the order. Had to wait until the following day to ring them and was told it would be between 3 to 5 days to get them money back. Whoever answered the phone was in no way apologetic made it seem like it was my fault. Won't be ordering again

24/07/2026: Charred Flatbread was amazing and fish and chips looked good. One member of our party had to send vegetable curry back as the vegetables were hard and undercooked, and the Summer Eton Mess wasn’t fresh with dense meringues and a singular soft strawberry. Service was friendly and good though - shout out to Grace !!

14/07/2026: “Catch of the day” was a grilled hake which was stale and was obviously cooked the day before. Totally unacceptable for a €23 dish and had to send back. Also not much variety of dishes which is not good for a couple of days stay.

11/09/2026: Was there tonight a load of Brazilians working there and giving out food that went cold while I was waiting for more food to be cooked, a bunch of utter shower useless people other than that when the Irish crew are on its usually lovely.

17/05/2026: The live music on the weekends is unbelievable… Is what I would say if it was even the slightest bit enjoyable. Used to be a nice pub

16/08/2026: Disgusting. I got this in probably 4/5 times in the past it and it was top class today I got a chicken kebab in a hard pita with almost no chicken. There was hair in it and I counted 2 half slices of cucumber and tomato. So so thrash and used to be so good. Chips were dry and hard

17/04/2026: Kids and I Had curry chips , kebab, sausage and chips and milkshake. All were very tasty. Friendly and fast service. Nice clean and bright place to eat . Would definitely recommend.

19/09/2026: Decent enough food if your really hungry but plenty of other places in the sqaure to choice from also a security camera in the men's bathroom surely that's a violation of some kind what are u expecting someone to come in and destory the toliets?

21/08/2026: Missing items in our delivery. Disgraceful. I wouldn't bother asking for it. They think delivery drivers' job is a joke.

14/09/2026: The food was amazing! 🤩 the team is super kind! The menu is a bit limited for tacos but the team will happily accept to make on demand. One thing that caught negatively my attention is the greasiness of the floor, tables and pretty much all surfaces. I believe this has to do with a bad detergent.

18/07/2026: Asked the worker if a meal had meat and they assured me it didn’t as I’m vegetarian. I ordered it, took it home and it mistakenly had chicken. I tried calling and the number didn’t work. I contacted through the website and was never contacted back. I came back a few weeks when I was back in town to get a refund and the current manager assured me they’d contact me later with the refund but I wasn’t contacted. I came back a few weeks later again and this time was told by the current manager it had been too long and he didn’t know if I was lying or not. Given no way to resolve this issue despite my multiple attempts.

05/06/2026: This place takes cash and WeChat pay only. May be they can avoid paying taxes this way but will lose lots customers too.

14/05/2026: Generous portions, everything super hot and freshly cooked when we came to pick up. Ordered right before closing time too but they still made it work! Defo going back!

13/08/2026: We have being customers of Richards for years we are sadly done with them after this last meal. €60 for nothing but rubberised chicken the four of us had the same complaint chewy rubber like chicken. The rice is no longer packed to a honest level in the containers either. Also the satay sauce is gone to some sort of oily consistency in the last number of months so today we are finished for good. Goodbye Richards

20/07/2026: Absolute weirdo working in the kiosk ignored me and my partner. Served his friend(young girl)instead of us despite us being at the counter and queued up. Do I need to be a young female to get served first or his friend? Will spend my money elsewhere and I normally come here 5 times a week. Last time I will ever be a patron of butlers or recommend it. 18:25 Monday 20th July
