The best restaurants

23/02/2026: Was a customer here for the last 2 years. After this evening, no more. Recieved chicken skewers that were inedible and ended up in the bin. Rang the restaurant and the aggression on the phone was ridiculous. “No, No, No!!” When I explained about the chicken skewers. He said I will ring you back and hung up. No call so rang back and he said no refund for you I give you something next time and I said no I will take the refund as we paid for something we could not even eat and he hung up the phone. So so rude. Usually there is a lovely girl on the desk but tonight it was an angry aggressive man. STAY CLEAR!

01/11/2025: Good value for money with the Munchie box coming out to €24 with 2 cans of coke Over all very nice, chicken strips and wings were a lil bit bland but everything else was very nice, giant tub of hot curry sauce to help it all go down. If you have a case of the munchies I recommend this 👍

29/09/2025: Visiting Clonmel as French tourists, we had a fantastic evening with the musicians last Monday. I recommend all French tourists visiting County Tipperary to make a detour on Monday evening to the Baker's Bar in Clonmel 😀! Atmosphere guaranteed.

28/09/2025: Live music and heartfelt ambience with a marvellous Helen who’s managing that place so lovely. It was my first time in Clonmel, hope it’ll not be the last. Barkers is a must. Period

29/12/2025: I’ve been very disappointed with this Chinese takeaway over the last few weeks. My orders have been wrong on multiple occasions, and I’ve had to make two trips just to collect what I originally ordered. This is really not good enough and shows very poor service. I expect much better accuracy and customer care.

25/02/2026: Standards are much lower than your typical chippy. Chicken fillet burger is kind of flavorless and dry. The so-called "taco beef chips" are really weird! Like tomato sauce with a small amount of mince, draped over chips. Not acceptable, especially not at €9.50. Rename them tomato mince chips instead, because that's what they are. Largely tasteless, too - and no cheese or taco sauce! Sausages are like they've been kept under heat for 3-days, wilted and dry. It's just all very sad and depressing! Clearly their best days are behind them and the owners really don't care what comes out. Not a chippy I can recommend to anyone, unfortunately!

16/12/2025: Best snack box in Irishtown/Ringsend. Huge portions, fresh chips and best garlic sauce. Warm and friendly staff.

18/12/2025: Got food from here. Never tried before but I won't be ordering from here again. The chips were awful and kebab was just as bad. Looking at the outside of the premises doesn't do it any favours either.

04/10/2025: That was the most diabolical spicebag I’ve ever had, it lacked in flavour and seasoning, I would never go back for the spicebag ever again. Service was grand, atmosphere was lovely but genuinely don’t go for the spicebag 🤮.

10/07/2025: Was looking forward to trying this place for lunch so invited a colleague, we were left standing at the counter for 15 minutes before the girl even took our order. I asked for the roasted vegetable toastie and was told that they didn't have any. It was on the menu so I asked "can't you make one?" And was met with a shrug of sher shoulders. I then asked what was in the sourdough rolls on display at the counter, she answered "ham and cheese" I asked, "what type of of cheese?" since the menu had varying sandwiches with pecorino or scammorza etc. And I wondered if the ham she referred to was cooked ham or prosciutto crudo. She replied, "Oh, I wouldn't know that" I gave up and asked for one of those, i then asked if I could get some tomato on it, she said, "they are all pre-made". I asked, "well, do you not have any ingredients here? No tomatoes? Couldn't you chop one up and add some?" Which, to me, did not seem an unreasonable request, In an "Italian" place, tomatoes being the cornerstone of Italian cuisine. She shrugged again. So I paid for my coffee and sandwich and asked for a glass of water. She said, "sit down and I'll drop everything down to you. Another 10 minutes passed and she brought our food to our table. Cooked ham and still not sure about the cheese. No glass of water! I went back to the counter and asked for two glasses of water, (one for my colleague) she handed me one, I said "sorry, I asked for two glasses" and was met with a sigh. Then she proceeded to argue with another customer because they didn't take their table number to their table, before getting the second glass. Anyone can have a bad day but she clearly wasn't very good at her job and didn't want to be there. Maybe I should lower my expectations, but was quite disappointing. The most Italian things about this place were the imported Italian pasta products displayed on the shelves. You'll find more variety and staff knowledge of the offerings (and get a warmer welcome) at a deli counter in any convenience store chain.

05/12/2025: The delivery service is fast, always get my order on time, always perfect, it is always exceptional value for money and food portions unreal, super tasty and great value for money, The staff, chefs, owners and the drivers are 100% what makes wan fu Chinese the best

13/09/2025: We popped in here for a late family meal & it exceeded all expectations, all dishes were fresh & lovely & the staff were great. Also very reasonable price wise. Would definitely recommend.

11/11/2025: Me and a few girls when their last Saturday. The interior was amazing, the staff was great and the food was amazing. I had their goat cheese salad and it was phenomenal. The only problem I think we faced was one of my friend tried strawberry daiquiri and she didn’t like it. Also, the staff was not ready to split the bill we had to walk to her personally and do it one by one. Other than that the food and the place was amazing.

16/10/2025: Food is good BUT BEWARE you might not get it. Expect 1.5 hours delivery time. Delivered to the wrong address is common. Leaking food containers.

21/09/2025: This is one of the best Indian takeaway (even though there are 2 tables to sit in) I have ever tasted in the western hemisphere. Real chefs, fresh ingredients, not too oily nor too salty, plus you get to see the kitchen by yourself when ordering and clearly I can tell that the kitchen was super clean. The prices are on the high end side for a takeaway but worth it if you want to eat fresh, clean tasteful Indian cuisine. Also I need to mention the quantities are huge and you won’t go home hungry. Hats down to the team.

16/01/2026: Absolutely disgusting service from Panda Tree. We ordered delivery and waited almost two hours, but it never arrived. No explanation, no apology — just a complete waste of time. I will never order from this place again.

25/12/2025: We had a booking for Xmas eve for 10 people, when we arrived were told, no booking, even though we had to pay €25 deposit. We just went in an sat down as we were not taking no for an answer, ( big mistake we should have walked away) place was empty… ( on Xmas eve not good sign) first meal arrived, then half a meal arrived( this was after over an hour waiting) another20 min or so b4 any more food came out. Only one young lad serving, taking orders and cleaning tables. Crispy duck came out soggy, was told if I wanted crispy duck meat would also be crispy… not so… I’ve had plenty crispy duck with skin crispy and meat tender.. if u can’t make crispy duck it should not be on the menu… but eventually 2 of us had to leave as meal had not arrived ( they had appointment) waiting so long they had to leave. Food was tasteless … disgraceful service, and not getting meals all together was just terrible, I’ve never experienced such terrible service.. and food… will never be returning here, I was so disappointed as we had changed to here for family Xmas eve meal and it was ruined… I’ll be returning to my original restaurant for next year… would not waste my money going here they have no idea how to run a good business… all the while we waited for our food to arrive at the table the take aways kept coming out and we were left waiting… very badly organised… expecting one boy to do all the running around .. food was tasteless… and duck ended up being cremated…

21/09/2025: I ordered a pizza deal that came with chicken tenders I received this order at 11.35 den got a phone call back 30 minutes after I received this meal to ask me if the food was OK I did not think nothing off this at the time but den I woke up dismorning with every symptom of food poisoning I call them today to ask why they called me to see if my food was OK to get told they did not ring asking about my food that they rang to see if the driver got der very strange it's safe to say I will never eat from this company again 🤮🤮🤮

20/08/2025: While staying in Dublin, I ordered from the "best pizza on the planet." A pizzeria next to my Airbnb, I was delighted with my meal. The pizzas are generous and quite large. The staff is very friendly at the reception. I highly recommend it.

18/07/2025: I came in to see two staff members working, and besides my order, there was only one other customer seated. Despite the light foot traffic, I waited over 10 minutes for just two coffees. Unfortunately, the wait wasn’t worth it — the coffees were extremely weak and lacked any real coffee flavor. If you’re someone who enjoys a strong, well-balanced brew, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
