16/06/2024: Very greasy food more than the average fish and chip spot. Taste and quality is poor

16/05/2024: I've been here before and its been a pretty standard chipper but got food in there last night and it was extremely poor. Cold chips and overcooked rock-hard fish. The (expensive) fish boxes we bought didn't have fish goujons, and he had just cut up a couple of regular cods and re-fried them (fish shouldn't crunch!) and spread them over 3 boxes. Wouldn't visit again.

06/01/2025: Why do the staff have to be so so rude. I spent alot of money in the takeaway yesterday and was grunted at. Never again. Food was cold and they forgot 3 of the order items.

17/12/2024: The worst people ever to deal with , disgustingly rude , severe attitude , couldn't care less about the customer , but yet selling terrible food , so you will get terrible service with terrible food , basically and all round complete terrible waste of time and money , never go hear.....

16/12/2024: A lovely perfectly situated hotel. Best Breakfast I've ever had. Room very comfortable and cosy.

11/12/2024: Stayed in Treacys for the last 3 days, booked it because it has a pool. Pool closed for a week, we were not informed AT ALL, have stayed here at least 4 times previous, breakfast was great as always, room was ok, water in bath or shower Luke warm at any time of day, also mould growing in skylight in the bathroom, mentioned this to manager yesterday & was told room is on list to be refurbished, not a great answer when you are pointing out something, showed him pictures I took of the mould, didn't seem to take much notice. Was a disappointment this stay.

09/01/2025: We booked our club Christmas party there after a number of unsuccessful locations. From start to finish the staff were extremely helpful and super friendly. They made everyone feel welcome and assisted to all requests. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. Highly reccomend it for a group booking! We will be back for sure !!

05/01/2025: Drop in this evening with the family for the all you can eat option @€25/€26pp. This is not a self service buffet but an order from a menu and your dishes are made fresh. The starters are small portions but you can order as many as you like. I had the Yuk Sung which was delicious, spring rolls were Ok. Also followed with salted chilli ribs, spicy prawns and bbq chicken wings. All very tasty , the bbq sauce was v.nice. Main dishes were also small portions but each came accompanied with rice,chips or noodles (€2 extra for noodles). There’s plenty in the rice portion but chips and main are small. Again the dishes all very tasty. I’d the beef and green pepper and black bean and Cantonese duck. Drinks are not included in the all you can eat option, so these were additional €’s. Overall the food was delicious with no complaints from our party. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating. There’s plenty of parking in the area also.

11/12/2024: I walked in on a Wednesday evening only to be told that the kitchen is closed on a Tuesday. The "Food served all day" was standing outside.

10/12/2024: Lovely traditional bar but unfortunately the gents toilets need a lot of work. Don't know about the ladies.

28/12/2024: Stopped off here for food on the way home from Galway. The staff were so friendly food was amazing and very good service was quite quick

03/10/2024: Ok so have been eating out of YUMI for about 3 years now and the food is normally amazing, tonight however things where horrendous. Firstly it took 1 hr 45 min for food to arrive and after 2 phone calls, when we rang the second time the attitude was horrible saying website says can be over 1 hr etc. I'm paying for delivery which was 4 euro I expect it in a timely manner or to be informed it is going to be longer than stated, also food arrived nearly cold and when we rang they didnt even answer. Will be trying somewhere new, there is no need for bad customer service. Loyal customer gone

18/01/2025: Best around with friendly service. Moved to the area recently and so was my first visit - found the staff very welcoming. Food was ready quick and tasted great! Will be back!

15/11/2024: We ordered a kebab meal tonight we were starving with the hunger from centerparcs they said it would b 15 mins we waited in the car and shocked to our eyes we seen mice leaving the shop and outside the doors it was an absolute appalling experience My 24 year old friend got sick in the car . The man that came out we showed him the mice and we said no way did we want the food he wasn't going to give us the money back either he said baba thanju. We had to go back in terrified of the mice and fuking demand our money

01/07/2024: Honestly, when we are all being told to “support local business in Cork” I have to ask myself why sometimes. Let me start by saying the woman (who maybe is the owner) was extremely rude. I sat at the counter on the stool and waited as she chatted to a man for 3 minutes solid before asking me if I was “alright” in a rude manner as if I were lost. She then charged me €4 for a hot chocolate on her credit card machine which I didn’t notice until sometime later, despite the fact that it said €3.50 on the menu. It was a cup of lukewarm milk and I left half of it behind. No goodbye or thanks as I left as the woman was simply too busy talking to her friend. Not recommended.
