07/09/2026: Horrible food. I ordered a 4 in 1 the other day got the most rubbery chicken ever. Got a 4 in 1 again with satte sauce they didnt give no satte. They dont care about you they dont even try to make good food

30/08/2026: I have been in a few times but will not go in again I don't know what the guys problem is behind the counter but never has a smile or thankyou very Ignorant person altogether I ordered a Chicken Burger well for a start the Burger was swimming in grease and chips were surely re-heated, need to change that guy behind the counter to someone with better communication skills and another thing I asked to Use Toilet and was given a dirty look I will not step foot inside again

14/08/2026: Took 1hr 30 mins for food to come. Had to ask everytime needed water, forks etc. food was nice but not worth the wait. Unless you’ve the patience of a saint, don’t bother.

13/08/2026: The worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant... Beer was warm, returned it and they said I still have to pay... Sorted that out, then food came. Hair in the rice. I was out the door after that. Shocking standards guys. I waited 45 mins for the food in an empty restaurant. AVOID

28/04/2026: The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and the staff's genuine warmth and friendliness especially Aaron made the experience truly memorable for me and my friends definitely will be our number 1 pub to visit every time that we will be back in Bundoran💚🤍🧡

21/03/2026: The pub it self had a great atmosphere and decent music however staff were unkind. On multiple occasions throughout the night I watched staff physically hurt customers. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with one member of staff who was bald and had a tattoo on his face. There was a young girl feeling ill in the bathroom and she had asked me to go and get her a drink of water which I did. When I walked into the LADIES bathroom the worker followed me in and grabbed the back of my neck before forcibly pulling me out of the bar. The worker shouted out to me “you heard me the first time you aren’t allowed drinks in the bathroom” however I had been unaware of the policy’s existence and therefore I tried to explain to him what had happened. The staff member did not care and proceeded to kick me out of the bar where he pushed me hard on my back to the point I have bruising. As he pushed me out the door he threw the cup of water out behind me and shouted “there’s your drink” . This was on st. Patrick’s day just yesterday and it’s safe to say that the staff were stressed but there is absolutely no call for the physical abuse I received and the abuse given to others which was far worse. I believe a local man called the police who came down and sent the bouncer home and the bar closed after this . Male staff were extremely rude and angry to us throughout the night and were dragging anyone who didn’t have a drink in their hand out. Absolutely will not be back and will be advising others to avoid.

11/07/2026: Its ok, not bad but not brilliant. The main was with tofu but there was no veg at all in the dish. A bit of veg would be better also portion was quite small. Flavour wise it is ok. Might try again with something else

14/06/2026: Awful food. Butter chicken wings were undercooked and tasteless, sauces were horrible. Nothing good to say.

05/09/2026: The burger was of extremely poor quality taking into consideration the high cost plus the extreme wait for it. The beef was overcooked and flavourless and the bun was not fresh. Extremely dissatisfying.

30/08/2026: I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but unfortunately our experience yesterday was disappointing. My friend ordered the grilled salmon, which clearly smelled and tasted not fresh. We immediately raised our concern with the waiter, who checked with the kitchen, but were told that the salmon had been delivered that day and was fresh. The following day, my friend developed diarrhoea, and this was the only meal she had eaten outside the home. While we cannot confirm the cause, the salmon was clearly not fresh to our taste and smell, and the experience was very concerning. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously.

01/07/2026: AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Look elsewhere. If I could give NO STARs I would.. ..deeply unsettling stay in Room 107. It is not a guest room!; it is an elite, endurance test designed to shatter your spirit and forge mental toughness. The Cryogenic Solitude: The management has thoughtfully curated a biting, sub-zero indoor climate. To ensure guests fully immerse themselves in the deep-freeze experience, they completely decommissioned our radiator and displayed it in the hallway like a modern art installation. The dampness is so absolute you don't just breathe the air—you wear it. Elite Concierge Service: The hotel staff have masterfully achieved a state of total, meditative silence by completely ignoring our requests. The room was never cleaned throughout our stay, bed-sheets dirty, no clean cups, no hoovering, no dusting, etc. ensuring our environment remained completely untouched by the burdens of modern civilization. The DIY Engineering Challenge: The shower drain was missing its primary filter mechanism, threatening an immediate, indoor flash flood. Luckily, we were able to save the entire wing from destruction by engineering a custom water-routing system using a teaspoon. It really brings a rustic, survivalist, Tom Hanks in Cast Away energy to your morning routine. The Detention Special: Navigating the older wing is a mental puzzle. The architecture is a genuine labyrinth, paying a homage to the site's 1920s history as a fortified wartime detention facility. It has held onto that exact violent, oppressive energy. The Advanced Entertainment Package: The in-room TV proudly offered a state-of-the-art "interactive grey screen" experience. It absolutely refused to show any channels, it could only be turned ''ON'' and ''OFF''. If you decided to look out the window instead: The windows of the hotel room overlooked onto a graveyard.. The Culinary and Leisure Amenities: The restaurant serves food so completely devoid of flavour.. Afterward, you can unwind in the swimming pool, which features a distinct, unmistakable toilet aroma and a floating biohazard that I can only describe as an uninvited, highly organic swimming companion. In conclusion, this stay wasn't a vacation—it was a total, multi-level nightmare masquerading as a hotel booking. The Royal Bray has achieved a spectacular masterclass in negative hospitality. Got no sleep throughout the stay. I can never, in good conscience, recommend that a single living soul ever cross this threshold. Avoid this entire property at all costs, unless you have actively budgeted to pay actual money for a historical, dark and atmospheric hostage situation.

25/08/2026: I absolutely love this shop! I’ve purchased two beautiful pieces of furniture for my home here in Castlebar, and every time I walk in, I can easily picture how everything would look displayed in my own space. The owners clearly care deeply about their thoughtfully curated collection and consistently go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful shopping experience. I can’t wait to come back and pick out more pieces to make my home even happier!

12/08/2026: Unbelievably poor customer service. I stood at the counter waiting to order, and the guy working completely ignored me—wouldn't even acknowledge that I was standing right in front of him. Basic politeness isn't too much to ask. I won't be coming back.

02/08/2026: Being going here for years and had no complaints. Yesterday I ordered in store( normally order online) and three customers who ordered after me were served first. When I asked them did they forget my order, they blamed it on delivery orders! I said it wasn't and the staff member was extremely rude. Appears to be all new staff here and my last visit to this chipper.

25/07/2026: The amazing woman who is always there everytime I visit, Im assuming seven days a week, is truly special the happiness and kindness she shows is truly special. If my world were filled with such positive and warmth, I would be nothing but happy. I joked about the satay sauce being better next door i was wrong they blew it out the water. 10/10

24/08/2026: Ordered food from here last night, came two hours late even thought we are only 15 mins away from apache, food then said has been delivered, but it wasn’t and it came 30 mins after it said it had been delivered, food arrived cold and rock solid, will not be ordering from here again and will be requesting a refund

23/05/2026: Thindi is our regular takeaway spot. The biryani, fries, saag paneer, mango lassi, chicken 65, and pakoras are all nice. We didn’t like the jalfrezi or the mango curry. Overall, the food is good, and the staff are sometimes nice, though the experience can be a bit inconsistent

12/05/2026: Extremely disappointed. Ordered the 222 meal deal, chicken bunha., only to find they charged extra for chicken and it did not include rice... can't really call it a meal... or a deal!! Chicken dry and sauce bland. Terrible

21/08/2026: We arrived here as a group of six for a family meal for my sons 21st birthday…To say that this was the most uncomfortable dining experience we have ever had is an understatement purely because of the manager… she was dismissive, rude and ignorant from the moment we arrived and completely belittling to the waiting staff who she had total disregard for even though they were doing a great job, raising her eyebrows when we were giving our order, never once answered us back each time we said thank you with a you’re welcome… the most horrible atmosphere ever… all the staff even those on the front counter looked terrified of her, absolutely no manners whatsoever!!! We have been eating from here with delivery orders for a long time and thought it would be nice to dine in but after this experience we will never eat from here again!!! This is most certainly not a good way to be around customers as you really are letting the name of your restaurant down when this is the person that’s dealing with the public… I feel so sorry for the rest of the staff here as they could do very well working anywhere else and for someone else.
