10/12/2024: The best coffee in a very long time, and a lovely atmosphere

05/10/2024: Great little find at the back of the hotel. Lovely area to sit and relax. Family friendly also and loads of parking. Can’t wait to try pizza menu next time.

01/11/2024: Be VERY CAREFUL ordering from this place. The delivery charge changes depending on driver and not location which is absolute robbery! Been ordering regularly for months now, pay €4.40 delivery online which is never any issue. But twice now (most recently tonight) a certain driver asks for more cash when they deliver the food because "the delivery charge is wrong" and stands at the door asking for more cash! Rang the takeaway, they said the delivery charge should have been €5.50 (this place is less that 3km away from me 😂😂). Had to root out change from the car because they wouldn't accept card online. Totally dodgy when the normal driver never asks for extra cash. A real dodgy spot so be very careful before wasting your money here!

15/01/2025: Totally LOVE M&J, First time we found this please was when heading back from ferry to Killarney, They where closed, it was like 6am? But as I was gazing through the window Mick ( Spelling? ) let all 7 of us in, and since then M&J's is a must for breakfast when heading past! M even went to the trouble of getting Mac n Cheese for my daughter..he left his place, woke the opposite store and helped himself, and came back and proudly announced I have got it, so you can have it! Amazing

08/11/2024: Food is generally great but way over salted recently. Delivery service has plummeted in quality recently now they have a new website. The website is great but what used to take twenty to thirty minutes to deliver now regularly takes nearly an hour and a half. The website claimed it would take 40 minutes and never updated to say it would be late. But magically when I called nearly an hour and a half later my food was just ready and was about to be handed to the driver. Arrived 20 minutes after I called to check in. Very disappointed as I love this Chinese and honestly would really need to see this pattern of crazy wait times to change soon.

01/01/2025: I don't think I have ever had food as bad as this . Burger was burnt with a strange taste so it was inedible and snack box had two tiny pieces of chicken and the chips were hard . Actually shocking .

17/01/2025: Do NOT order delivery from here. These people cannot get an order right. I've never had my order made correctly. Every time I call the shop, they tell me there's nothing they can do to fix my order. I message on social media, and they tell me to "send an email." I send an email and never hear back. Tonight, I ordered a salad, and I received dry shredded cabbage THEY CHARGED €3 for! I called the shop and asked where the dressing for the salad was, and they said it doesn't come with dressing. I asked why it was called a salad, and why the website says it comes with dressing, and they said "I'm not in charge of the website. What do you want me to do?" I'm so over this place. Oh, and there's hair in the dry shredded cabbage.

08/01/2025: Sadly, after 5 years or more of being a Camile customer. I will start to boycott it. The most rude and useless delivery driver that I have ever dealt with (I order food several times a week). Their rider was blaming me for not adding the Eircode, when is clearly there (deliveroo), fair play is not on their receipt, but he was aggressive towards me even when I showed them the deliveroo screen. Can you train them to check your receipt before taking the order? and also how to communicate in a human and professional way. I am sad about this outcome, but I can’t believe you hired and keep people that behave this way. Now an aggressive human knows my address and I am not happy at all. Thanks for the previous good experiences. The driver wasn’t from deliveroo, the app said that it was a camile driver.

25/01/2025: Was very disappointed last night had to wait 1 hour 30 mins for food was Originally 40 min when I required about the food it seem it wasn't ready yet... So I waited abit long finally got the food the 2 chicken curry was cold when I got back to the house 8 mins away. When I got home they forgot my chicken balls. I paid 39 euros to be honest it really put me of ever coming back after this experience

26/11/2024: Not my normal Chinese in Ballinrobe but i found myself their due to it being a Tuesday , Gravy was sweet not what i expected at all , fried rice was bland boiled rice with a little egg .

24/12/2024: Pedimos comida para llevar, no había recibo que necesitábamos. Al volver a llamar nos dijeron que el conductor lo dejaría caer. Una hora más tarde todavía sin señal, volvimos a llamar y las chicas por teléfono extremadamente groseras, nos dijeron que no había obligación de darnos un recibo y no pedimos uno. No volvería a ir allí después de ese tipo de tratamiento. La comida es promedio
