The best restaurants

22/04/2025: I only had coffee there. The food looked ok. The service was not great, a gentleman in front of me had been waiting 15 minutes and the guy behind the counter did not listen to what he had asked for at all.

14/06/2025: We visited this restaurant as we were very hungry. Started getting bad vibes as soon as we entered as there was no other customer apart from us. We ordered: paneer butter masala, saag paneer and daal. Paneer was fully covered with an artificial food colour and paneer tasted like a rubber. Daal was still good. Roti did not feel right as the atta had become too brown. If all of this was not sufficient, the bill had incorrect prices. When asked that why does the bill have incorrect prices, they said that it hasn’t been printed on the menu. I would not recommend to visit this place. No wonder they didn’t have customers

11/06/2025: Super delicious sauces, everything perfectly seasoned. The butter chicken was super soft and practically melted in your mouth. The vegetable korma was also delicious.

18/06/2025: Exceptional customer service from Luke today in Ballymena. He took time to check my order and even suggested new items on the menu to try for next time. I don’t come to McDonald’s very often but I think I’ll come back just to be served by him!! 👏

11/06/2025: Absolutely disgraceful experience. I ordered a JUST CHEESE pizza via Just Eat and what I received was a plain pizza base with nothing but tomato sauce — not a single shred of cheese. I called the restaurant thinking it was an honest mistake, but instead of apologising or offering a solution, the staff were shockingly rude. They refused to help, spoke to us with complete disrespect, and then hung up the phone on us. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. If a business can’t take responsibility for their mistakes and treats customers like this, they don’t deserve to be operating. I will never order from here again — and I strongly recommend others don’t either.

04/06/2025: Delivery driver was polite and nice but food was horrible , the lettuce was not fresh , it was a brown colour and too little meat on the kebab , and too much veg and sauce

20/06/2025: Wow. When you think a franchise has the same food everywhere and can’t mess up things that bad. The halloumi fries were absolutely nasty and fried in old oil, when I ate them it felt like a whole lining of fat in my mouth swishing around. The plant based burger also tasted dirty and oily. And to top things off, they gave me chicken nuggets as well to a veggie order- as a joke?

08/04/2025: Food itself was lovely, however this place is severely let down by their delivery driver. We were 4 minutes late to opening the gate for him to enter the estate and when he got out of the car, he shouted straight at me saying he was waiting for 15 minutes for us to open the door. Firstly no he wasn’t and I have CCTV to prove otherwise secondly, regardless of if you’re annoyed at us you don’t speak to a paying customer like that. We won’t be ordering from here again, shame really as food is delicious.

10/07/2025: Ordered food from here yesterday, mixed kebab meat was lovely just kebab needs more chilli and garlic sauce was dry for so much meet you need lots of sauce , the nan bread was overcooked it was crispy nan bread should be fresh and soft , chips were ok just frozen chips , chicken pakora was nice but needs more flavor and bigger pieces of chicken, the staff really friendly and nice , also Taj please used some brown bags for food it's not nice foor just in plastic bag you need to be using brown takeaway bags please .

16/06/2025: Tasty takeaway. I like the chicken fillet burger and the loaded fries - the fresh naan is delicious, too. Staff is friendly. Update: tried the pizza - best damn pizza I’ve ever eaten, exactly as I ordered it, and delicious as leftovers. Fantastic food here!

19/06/2025: Jade Garden is a fantastic Chinese takeaway located on the Quay in New Ross. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Food is of high quality and affordable. Definitely recommend

14/06/2025: Nos alojamos en el hotel y terminamos comiendo aquí varias veces - cada comida era consistentemente delicioso! Se puede pedir en el restaurante o en el menú del bar, y ambos ofrecen fantásticas opciones. El curry tailandés amarillo era absolutamente fenomenal, rico, sabroso y bellamente equilibrado. El pescado y las patatas fritas estaban perfectamente crujientes, y las patatas fritas fueron algunas de las mejores que hemos tenido. ¿Pero el sobresaliente? La costilla de res irlandesa — tierna, jugosa y babosa — ¡digna! Como alguien que no tiene gluten, me emocionó ver un montón de opciones claramente marcadas sin gluten en los menús principales. La única pequeña desventaja eran los limitados postres sin gluten, pero la calidad de todo lo demás lo compensaba con creces. El servicio fue excepcional en todo momento - amable, profesional y atento. El lugar en sí es cómodo y decorado con buen gusto, por lo que es un gran lugar para relajarse y disfrutar de una comida. Recomiendo encarecidamente si se aloja en el hotel o simplemente en busca de una buena comida en la zona!

03/06/2025: No estábamos listos para lo buena que era esta comida. El trampolín de The Kingsley nos dejó boquiabiertos, con las manos abajo la mejor comida que hemos probado. Declaración audaz, pero nos atenemos a ella. ¿Los sabores? Perfecto. ¿El chapado? Gorgeous. ¿La experiencia? Inolvidable. Volveríamos a Cork solo para comer aquí de nuevo, sin duda. Como vegano y aficionado a la comida sin gluten, estoy acostumbrado a la rutina de “puedes tomar la ensalada”. ¡Pero aquí no! El menú de Springboard estaba claramente etiquetado, súper inclusivo y lleno de opciones que eran realmente emocionantes y deliciosas. Sin compromisos, solo sabor de nivel próximo. El ambiente era elegante sin ser congestionado, con unas vistas preciosas del río Lee que configuraban el escenario perfecto para una cena romántica (o en nuestro caso, una segunda onda de luna de miel 💕). Si tuviéramos una pequeña nota — tomó un poco de esfuerzo llamar la atención de un servidor y las cosas se movieron lentamente a veces. ¿Pero honestamente? La comida era tan ridículamente buena, que no nos importaba. Vale cada segundo. ¿En resumen? El trampolín es imprescindible. Venga por la comida, quédese a disfrutar de la vista y salga soñando con lo que pedirá la próxima vez. Porque confía en nosotros, habrá una próxima vez. ¡Volaríamos de Canadá a Irlanda solo para comer aquí de nuevo!
