29/08/2025: Ordered a king prawn chow mein, Was bland, tasteless, no salt it was difficult to eat, The munch box should be renamed to a chip box as it contained practically no chicken, Curry was horrible. The kid behind the counter was lovely, proper gent. But the food itself isn't worth it, was my first time coming here and it'll be my last. Proper lazily prepared food.

10/05/2025: Pizza is bad be better off buying one from the shop and do it urself. The service is just as bad they be stearing into your face when ur eating and the male had long black nails that would make you feel sick he shouldn't be in a place serving for its disgusting. For the atmosphere people on drugs outside tapping money smell of horse shit sorry I wasted my money in there never again. Not worth the money.

04/04/2025: I just ordered a minestrone soup with garlic bread as I have the flu at the moment. Billy called and asked about my gluten free preference for the soup and made sure that not only soup was hot and very tasty but also the extra effort of reaching out to ensure it’s gluten free was much appreciated and it will now be my go to restaurant and location for comfort food.

20/08/2025: Toilets "out of service" for weeks on end and not one plug socket in the entire place (they're literally covered).... seriously? Is there any wonder it's empty all the time? Fix the toilets for heavens sake, it's a legal requirement.

29/07/2025: Very poor service. The lady who placed my order didn't ask me the size or my name. So, when I went to pick up my drink, I was about to get someone else's, and the lady rudely told me it wasn't mine. I recommend asking for names in the future to avoid this kind of mix-up. The drink was good, though.

20/09/2025: After a long day of fishing we decided to pop in here for something nice, We ordered the double quarter pounder, and 2 snack boxes, we had to que for 5 min to put in the order and had to wait over 25min for the food, the chicken in the snack boxes came separate to the chips and the salt and viniger was in packs, so much packaging waste its ridiculous, now for the food, the chicken was ok but the chips although fresh were so hard and dry they were barely edible and we could not finish them, it was good that they were very small portions of chips and we felt bad throwing them in the bin as for the burger there was 2 patties so over cooked and so hard with little to no sauce or dressing on it, as for the price nearly 13 euro for 2 small prices of chicken and small portions of chips is extortion if you ask me and 13 for the burger and chips seems OK but really badly prepared food and small portions, First impression are so important when it come to takeaway and as this was our first time we were left with a terrible impression of this place, we will never come here again

30/05/2025: I've been ordering takeaway from here for years and this is the first time I've been really disappointed. The pilau rice was half boiled and half pilau for both of us, the onion bhajis were burned and overcooked, the garlic mushrooms were tasteless and both main courses had very watery and salty sauces. The only okay thing was the naan bread and it was only ok. It was a waste of almost -€50.00. I won't be ordering from here again anytime soon.

02/07/2025: This is our place to drink our coffee, we like they give us a card and we can get a free one occasionally. I don't understand why they can't let us have a cold coffee for free like they do with the hot coffees. Also they should ask if we are drinking in there or to take out. We get plastic recipients when we are staying in the place, it should be nice to have the right one when we are in the area.

14/09/2025: Lovely restaraunt to grab a bite to eat. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the guys on duty had a great chat with us and gave my two lads a free 🎂.Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Kilkenny!

25/06/2025: A regular customer of Kens restaurant for takeaway. Absolutely horrified this evening when browsing the menu to order takeaway for the family to see main courses had increased by up to 4 euro. 17.50 euro for a thai green curry dish. An outlandish increase. Wont be ordering from Kens again after being a customer for years.

24/10/2025: I ordered through deliveroo and wanted to add dietary requirements but there was no option to add notes and neither the restaurant was picking up the calls in business hours.Tried calling multiple times.Disappointed with the service

19/10/2025: best takeaway in Dublin - go here after every night out - unreal falafel kebab. My non vegan friend loves the lamb kebab. top spot with friendly staff. yup ricos.

12/10/2025: Wonderful professional operation serving good seafood. Waited a few minutes for a table for two (but bigger groups longer). Seafood chowder was excellent but didn’t have time to make the most of the full menu. Hopefully visit again 🐟🐠🍤🦪👏👏👌

30/09/2025: A place where you can breathe in an Irish atmosphere and eat typical dishes, especially fish-based ones, really good. The oysters are excellent even if a little expensive. Fast service.

03/11/2025: This was my first time trying Shake Dog, and it greatly exceeded my expectations! The burger was an absolute treat, garlic sauce on the chips was full of flavour. Everything was fresh and tasty. I always say if your going to eat unhealthily, it better taste good! (many other takeaways around here miss the mark) But Shake Dog impressed us all! My new favourite fast food spot!
