The best restaurants

04/10/2025: That was the most diabolical spicebag I’ve ever had, it lacked in flavour and seasoning, I would never go back for the spicebag ever again. Service was grand, atmosphere was lovely but genuinely don’t go for the spicebag 🤮.

20/10/2025: Was in Earls last weekend, I had a lovely sandwich and coffee made by the super staff. Big shout out to Tom who was very friendly and obliging. I’ll be back!

20/10/2025: Very rude and unprofessional young sales assistant. No basic manners, no “thank you” or “please.” Left a very unpleasant impression. Manager should look into this.

03/12/2025: A great place to try fish and chips. The portions are very generous, so feel free to share. The fish could have used a bit more lemon, but luckily there were sauces available on the table.

03/12/2025: We went to Leo's because it's the oldest fish and chip shop in town, and we really liked it. You know what you're getting into, and given the area, it's bound to be a bit pricey... but we really enjoyed it, especially because when you go to a touristy place, you worry you might get subpar service, but the staff were excellent, always smiling and very friendly. We thought it was only for takeout, but the small shop they have is very cozy. We really liked it. If you know what you're getting into—battered fish and chips—it's a place to go.

26/09/2025: After they change management pizza is away better. Now you can call this pizza . Before it was discounting.

26/09/2025: Shocking. Delivery took over an hour and a half. Rang to follow up when no sign of it coming was told it would be "5mins". Came 25 mins later. Pizza cold. Worst I've had.

24/11/2025: Worst mcdonalds around. Asked for 4 different things off the displayed menu at drive thru, they had nothing i wanted. No ice cream as usual. None of the new menu items. This is always the case. Don't advertise something you dont have!!! No draws or napkins with my order either. Absolute joke!

21/11/2025: Third McDonald’s we go today where they say the ice cream machine is not working… it’s amazing how many McDonald’s in Dublin face the same problem after 9pm! It’s supposed to be a convenience place, but it’s convenient for those working there that can choose what they feel like serving or not.

10/08/2025: The place is absolutely dirty and run-down, and there are no restrooms. The girl serving the sandwiches was efficient, but not friendly. The food selection is very limited. It's a shame for this company; they do better elsewhere. Look around and eat anywhere else; you won't find anything worse.

03/06/2025: The taste is good, but it would be more perfect if the store is cleaner.

11/11/2025: Me and a few girls when their last Saturday. The interior was amazing, the staff was great and the food was amazing. I had their goat cheese salad and it was phenomenal. The only problem I think we faced was one of my friend tried strawberry daiquiri and she didn’t like it. Also, the staff was not ready to split the bill we had to walk to her personally and do it one by one. Other than that the food and the place was amazing.

17/07/2025: Tomato noodle soup has few tomatoes and many noodles, it tastes like chewing wax, it tastes like sugar, there is a lot of chili but no spiciness, the grilled cold noodles are full of coriander

26/10/2025: Quite possibly the worst spice bag I've ever had. No veg in it. Just chips and rock hard shredded chicken. The spice was literally just a powder mix thrown in with the chicken a chips. Terrible quality.

27/06/2025: First time getting here tasted lovely got chicken curry, took a bite into something hard which didnt look like it should be in it. Took it back over showed it to the man behind the counter very helpful the cooks not very much.The cook said its a shell from seafood which on the menu says no seafood crustaceans. The cook snapped it in half to get rid of what I had as I wanted to keep it as I said. Offered me something else to eat asked for a refund I got that.

28/09/2025: I would personally not recommend this place. The food was absolutely disgusting, I only ate here because it was the only option in the area at the time. They need serious improvements to keep up with modern standards of quality and flavour. Customers should leave thinking “wow, that was amazing,” not feeling shortchanged by quantity over quality. What I got instead was tasteless, packet-style food drowned in random cheap sauces. The burgers were small, the quality was poor, and overall it just didn’t hit the spot. Very disappointing experience.

16/11/2025: Fantastic tasty food at a reasonable price. Never received food that wasn't nice. However, the customer service in this place is nothing but awful. I went to place a large order today worth over 60€ and was given the option to pick a collection time, which I did for 3.15pm. My order went through and we went to pick up our order. I then received a phone call from an extremely rude girl who basically told me my order wouldn't be ready until 5pm!! She explained that this was because the friers weren't switched on early enough 😒 she also told me she couldn't cancel the order her end and that I would have to go back on to the app and cancel it myself, which is impossible to do as it doesn't have the option to cancel. I then rang her back to ask a question as to why it would take 2 hours to complete the order, to which she said she "wasn't going to get into this with me" and hung up the phone!!! I then rang a second time and asked to speak to a manager, which was another waste of time. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. We often order from this takeaway as its so tasty (and to be honest it's not the first time I found the staff to be rude) but I won't be ordering again in the future

27/07/2025: Used to be good, must be different people in there. Last few orders were nasty. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Last order took a while to be confirmed but was just cancelled online. Not going back there so.

30/10/2025: Very nice customer service, very good quality of food, reasonable price. Recommended for fast and nice experience.

03/09/2025: I visited Eddie Rockets Celbridge today for a quick bite at 8:29pm. After waiting a few minutes to be seated, the supervisor informed me that food service had ended and only takeaway was available, when I pointed out the restaurant closes at 9pm she reluctantly allowed me to order on the condition that I leave by 9pm. As I knew what I wanted I ordered boneless chicken wings and a chocolate milkshake, but was served chicken nuggets instead. When I questioned this, both the supervisor and chef insisted they were wings, which was incorrect as I’ve had the item many times before. I left without eating or paying, as the food was not what I ordered. I would advise the management of the outlet to carry out menu training for both supervisor and kitchen staff to have proper menu knowledge, and customers are not asked to leave before they even order. If you post any reviews of your experience and if you get a reply from Eddie Rockets to email them. Well they will not reply to your complaint or even acknowledge they received your experience of food or service. So dont bother emailing them, it saves you 5mins to do better things***
