19/11/2025: What a racket. Nearly €10 for 2 machine coffees and they were hardly drinkable. At least it is in keeping with the Irish Rail experience!

22/10/2025: The male barista’s attitude was just terrible. I ordered a wrap and asked him to heat it up because it had cheese inside, but he said “It’s not possible.” I mean, if a customer asks to have it heated, they should be able to do it, right? Also, I ordered a flat white with oat milk, but he gave me one with regular milk instead. That flatwhite was just like small cappuccino. Please be careful when you hire someone!!!!

06/06/2026: Was asked to pay an extra €4 for delivery after already paying at checkout. We were also made to meet the delivery driver as he wouldn’t come up to the house to complete the delivery. Meaning we drove to collect our “delivery” order which we paid €8 for it to be delivered. The food was extremely poor quality, it was cold on arrival, and we waited over an hour for it to be delivered (including our drive to meet the delivery man). DO NOT ORER FROM HERE

04/02/2026: The middle aged lady working there intentionally stole money from me. I went to tap my card and it didn't work according to her and then she charged me again. The thing is the first attempt was for 16.50 and the second for 14.50 both were successful, this was done intentionally to avoid it looking like it was a double charge. The food was supposed to be 14.50. Thief! This happened on the night of Feb 1st at 1.58am, I have the receipts to prove it. I don't know if the lady in question is the owner or not, but this is horrible behaviour. I was wondering why she typed on the card machine for the second attempt it's because she stole 16.50 from me. To the owner look at your cameras at exactly 1.58am and you'll see the incident or go through your electronic statements you will see exactly what I'm talking about. I know it's 16.50 but please get this transaction reversed before I take I take this further.

09/05/2026: Wow absolutely ridiculous food was rubbish very dry prices scandalous 9.99 for a kebab and then 5.95 to add chips and a drink I'd stay away from this place wouldn't have been so bad if food was up to standard but nearly 6 euro to add chips and drink how do they justify that

06/12/2025: Probably the worst food I’ve ever had! Ordered Megabox for my son and I and can honestly say it was horrible. The ribs and chicken were so dry and I ordered a side of rice which was so greasy. So disappointing, will definitely not be going there again!

28/08/2025: I ordered a few dishes from this takeout place, but the food was poor quality. The flavors were nonexistent, even with the classic Chinese dishes. A real shame. The prices were quite high.

11/02/2026: We booked a meal for eight of us on Jan 17th 2026 after the miss siagon show in Bord Gais. Firstly they hadn't got our booking but accommodated us after a little wait. The first notable thing was the really poor service. It was very obvious from the start that they had a lot of new waiting staff that were very poorly trained. All the staff that served us had little understanding of English and we had to repeat ourselves several times to make sure they got the correct orders. Two of our party were coeliacs and we had to explain this and wait until they checked with a manager every time we asked about it. Eventually they brought a supervisor over who was able to explain what was gluten free. To be honest we felt so sorry for the young staff that seemed out of their debt. Eventually when the food arrived, it was all right but just all right. For such a well known hotel the food was very average and disappointing, plain and very low standard. I would not recommend this to anyone unless overall standards improved.

24/12/2025: It says open today but its a big fat lie. They are closed the entire christmas. False advertising this.

15/12/2025: Grabbed two foot long Christmas subs on my way home. The bread was stale and the sub wasn’t very good! Really disappointing.

12/11/2025: How the hell did my 6 inch cost €10? And as an avid subway point collecter I didn’t get my points. I’ll be back for them though.

26/10/2025: I ordered pancakes and the women taking my order just walked off without specifying what ones and just gave me kids Nutella ones definitely won’t be coming back

25/09/2025: Coffee Machine always dirty, portafilters and baskets with old coffee are not cleaned before the next order, no recipe used, barista was not able to explain their coffee or recipe when asked about taste of the coffee, which was weird. I am a Gym member and like the vibe, but food safety there is not great.

07/07/2025: The most ridiculously over priced coffee I’ve ever seen. Regular oat caramel latte was 7.20€. I am on the floor I cannot believe it is so expensive for bang average coffee. I asked the man at till if this was correct and he said oh we have to pay for the oat. I could quite literally buy about 5 cartons of oat milk for this price, which I will. RIDICULOUS

30/12/2025: If you are looking for a nostalgic trip back to the late 1980s, this café in Rathfarnham Shopping Centre delivers—though unfortunately, it seems the cleaning and maintenance schedule also stopped around the same time. What could be a charming local hub is, in reality, a masterclass in how to make customers feel unwelcome. Atmosphere & Hygiene The first thing you notice is the decor, which hasn't been updated in what appears to be 40 years. While "vintage" can be a vibe, "neglected" is not. The physical environment is only outmatched by the coldness of the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were met with a rude and unfriendly demeanor. There was no greeting, no smile, and a general sense that our presence was an inconvenience to the people working there.For a local shopping center café, the pricing is extremely overpriced. You might forgive the cost if the quality was high, but the food was a disappointment. Our meal was overpriced and dry. In a bizarre move for a place charging premium prices, they actually charge extra for butter.There is no kids' menu and zero effort made to accommodate families. It is distinctly not family-friendly, which is surprising given its location in a residential suburb. It is a genuine shame that this is the primary dining option within Rathfarnham Shopping Centre. The local community deserves a vibrant, clean, and welcoming space to grab a coffee or a bite to eat. Instead, this establishment lets the whole area down. Save your money and your move and go elsewhere.

06/12/2025: I was bursting to go to the wee so I came into rathfarnham shopping centre and went to the little cafe upstairs and I ordered a tea cause they wouldn’t let me use the toilet cause it’s customers only anyway she charged me €3.20 for a pot of tea with one lousy tea bag in it…..absolutely shocking and the staff are incredibly rude ther was a older lady looking for an extra bit of butter And they refused to give it to her until she paid more money
