07/12/2024: Pure awful. Late delivery. Waited 1 hour and 20 mins for the most disgusting cold pizza. Cold chips and cold chicken. Waste of money and very unhelpful staff. Avoid.
03/12/2024: My food was an hour late I contacted the restaurant and the lady was so rude told me it wasn't her problem that her delivery man can't fly the food have still not been delivered this is not the first time I have had to deal with the female staff in this restaurant it's beyond me how they still have jobs there I have never met such rude people in all my life even when I go into the restaurant it's a pity because the food is good but there manners are disgraceful I won't be ordering or calling into the oven restaurant again

04/12/2024: It's pretty bad compared to other McDonald's restaurants. It's very small and very crowded. I know they can't really do anything about it when it comes to the actual building, but i have ordered 3 triple cheeseburgers and got 3 double ones... Sucks to be me i guess it's only later when i got to my hotel that i figured out that they made a mistake, and it was late and not worth it to go back.
Anyway I'm leaving 5 stars because I'm a restaurant owner myself and really don't like leaving bad reviews because i know it can be painful, but at least I'm writing an honest review based on my experience. The staff seems completely out of touch sometimes i thought i was at the graveyard and not in a McDonald's restaurant.

19/01/2025: The utensils and crockery is dirty. toilets are un hygienic no soap dispenser seems like they don’t use soap anywhere not even to clean utensils. They don’t even have hand sanitiser. The most unhygienic cafe in castlebar.

18/11/2024: Possibly the worst Chinese take away I've ever eaten. Something very peculiar about the flavour of the curry sauce, definitely an ingredient in it that shouldn’t be. Chicken balls were soggy and tasted odd also. We went here on recommendation but wont be going back. Should have gone to Lin Kee.

04/12/2024: Very disappointed with a recent experience in shop. Went there to buy two smaller boxes of chocolates - Went to counter to pay and asked asked if I could get two small paper bags . Was told no paper bags and if I wanted a bag I could buy a plastic one for 90 cent. Pretty poor customer service and would put me off buying there again. I got a free paper bag then from chemists down the street ..
01/12/2024: Basically an expensive Centra now. Gone are the food options that brought me in to shop here. No gluten free bread at the sandwich deli anymore either. It's such a shame to see what was a cornerstone of food in Galway slowly water down their offerings to become a boring corner shop.

21/08/2024: I stopped here for a panini, but left after a rude encounter with an older male employee (could be an owner - I don’t know). My husband was in line to order while I asked about the toilet. The man seemed surprised and then told me that it is for customers only. I did point out that my husband was in line ordering and he did then tell me where it was. However, I was already turned off by his tone and behavior that I decided to leave.To that man: Don’t sound accusing without facts. This was my first time visiting the island and that was the memory that stayed and hurt. Ended up getting some delicious fudge from Man of Aran Fudge and went to the toilet on the ferry.

We ordered 2 pizzas and some drinks, the Pizzas were amazing [ all 4 of us agreed]
We ordered first and sat down, and were served by a lovely friendly girl who couldn't do enough for us
We will defo be back ............keep up the good work

21/12/2024: I went to place an order at Just Eat as a delivery, I was served by a young manager, about 20 years old, white skin, short hair with curls, he was absolutely contemptuous and arrogant with me, it took him 30 minutes to deliver an order (only a hamburger), while I saw how other people were served in a time of 3-5 minutes. A disaster of an experience, I hope they take the corresponding measures with this young man who works in a mc donalds and thinks he is Elon Musk for how he treats the riders.
