08/11/2025: Staff was friendly, it’s likely you don’t get a seat inside and seating outside is limited too. Toilets that belong to The Treehouse are in a container and the smell of urine is offputting. The food - absolutely no value for money, overpriced for what you get, would not return.

23/08/2025: No idea why people rave about this place. It was very busy at the time I was there, so I didn't mind queuing for the 10 minutes. Although the system was terrible, (they had to stop taking orders as they ran out of buzzers to give out, so when you reached the front of the queue you had to wait until a buzzer came back - woeful setup but anyway), I eventually ordered two acai bowls, with nutella, and one with no banana. 40 minutes passed, I went back up and asked if there was an issue, as I thought my order had been forgotten. I was told that they had to find somone to make them (???). I obviously didn't look too impressed, so I was offered a free slice of cake, which I gracefully accepted. After another 10 minutes, my buzzer went off, and I went to collect. Both bowls had banana, and both were covered in peanut butter, not nutella. At this point I was so sick of waiting, I just handed the bowls, and the free cake, back and asked for a refund, which they gave me no problem. Very disappointed that I wasted so much time, the way the place is set up is completely to blame. Once it gets busy, it's a nightmare. 2 stars as we had eaten here the night before, and the food was fine, but extremely expensive.

10/06/2026: I ordered a Brown sugar shaken espresso and got an oat ice latte. Staff totally dismissive and giving wrong orders, got charged for a Grande coffee I didn’t ordered and got it in a tall cup.

19/07/2026: I am very disappointed with Apache Pizza Kells. This isn't the first time I've received burnt pizza, incorrect orders, or missing items. Every time, I’ve paid for the full order—and the receipt lists everything I ordered—yet I don't receive everything I paid for, or I get the wrong items. When I called to explain the situation, the staff was very arrogant and claimed I hadn't ordered the missing item, even though it was clearly listed on the receipt and already paid for. They never apologized or made any attempt to rectify the mistake. I am pregnant and was really craving their food, which made this experience even more unpleasant. The food might be good, but the customer service is very poor. I will never order from this location again and do not recommend it.

27/03/2026: My family are regulars and usually the service is great. The ladies there always treat us with such kindness. Today I was served by a man, who I presume is the owner. It was going alright until the card I was using wouldn't accept being tapped and needed to ring to get the pin. All was fine. I turn around to leave and I hear him talk about me before I even have the door fully open... "What was her deal on the phone" as if he was expecting me to magic up the money even though he was right in front of me when I said the words "What is the pin again?" down the phone.

16/04/2026: 1st off this is the 1st time I’ve got a bad meal here. I came in near closing time tonight and got chips and a breast and a bun. Chips were reheated and the breast and a bun was cold. Didn’t realise till I got home that the chips were reheated chips and were hard, crispy and cold. Chicken was under a light but cold and dry. Not impressed with what I got tonight.

28/04/2026: Got a pizza i loved the dough but they couldve had more sauce on the pizza. And a 12 inch does not come with a dip 🥲otherwise was very good especially the doner meat on it

16/07/2026: I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. When I first placed my order, the girl at the counter was friendly, smiling, and polite. I had a good impression at first. I ordered my food, paid €20, and told her I needed it as takeaway. She said it would take 10–15 minutes, so I said I would come back after 15 minutes. The restaurant was almost empty, with only one customer inside, so it was clearly not a situation where they were overwhelmed. When I came back, my food was already packed in a bag. The bag felt suspiciously light, so I asked if everything was inside. I was told “yes, of course”, however when I opened the bag, the egg fried rice was missing. I politely asked if I could get the missing item. The attitude immediately changed. She did not say anything openly rude, but her facial expression and attitude made it feel like I was somehow causing a problem, instead of simply asking for something I had already paid for. She went to the kitchen, brought out the missing rice, and handed it over in a way that felt like I was receiving a free donation rather than a product I had paid for. I did not make a scene inside the restaurant because I wanted to remain respectful. Before payment, the customer gets smiles and friendly conversation. After payment, it felt like the attitude became: “Why are you still here? What do you want?” A basic mistake can happen anywhere, but the way a customer is treated afterwards shows the real level of service. I paid for my food and expected basic respect. Please feel ashamed of this kind of customer service. I will not be coming back.

18/05/2026: If I could rate this 0 star I would Absolutely shocking experience. I was driving past on a quiet Sunday night and decided to call in an order for collection. The phone was hung up on after two rings, and after calling back another three times, I was still being hung up on. I ended up going in person, only to be met with staff who wouldn’t even let me finish ordering before putting it through the till. The food itself was below standard — dry, stale, and nowhere near what you’d expect when paying for a takeaway. What makes this even more frustrating is that this isn’t the first bad experience. In the past, I’ve placed much larger orders (€50+) and been charged for items that were missing from the order. The place seems completely overstaffed, yet somehow customer service is non-existent. Multiple staff members standing around on their phones, barely acknowledging customers, and generally rude throughout. It’s frustrating to support a business repeatedly only to be treated like an inconvenience. Definitely won’t be returning.

20/06/2026: Hello it was my first time ordering. You substituted one of my items for another and while I appreciate they were both vegetarian items, you can please just tell me you substituted it as I did order for collection and watched you in store put my order together. They included a can of coke which I did not order or pay, I acknowledge this. But why not mention you substituted items. Very strange, suspicious and feels like the staff lack basic customer service skills. To other customers: don't order the BBQ chicken sub it is quite disgusting. I'll just get a pizza next time, may be better. And willing to give one more chance.

17/05/2026: Three months ago, I wrote a review as we had had an unsatisfactory experience with Four Star. Last month, we got another order from Four Star. I'm not sure what happened to one of our pizzas but it was almost as if the toppings slid off most of the crust to huddle in a corner of the box. I didn't do a review about that. Today we placed an order. We ordered cajun wedges and spiced wedges. We got spiced wedges (with no sauce even though we'd ordered BBQ sauce) and rather than cajun wedges, we received an order of chicken wings. Considering the person who ordered these wedges is vegetarian, receiving chicken wings was not acceptable. We had also ordered chicken bites with BBQ sauce; we received garlic/herb sauce, which is not liked by anyone in the household. Three strikes and you're out, Four Star. I think we'll need to find another pizza place moving forward.
