The best restaurants

30/04/2026: Placed an order and then received a phone call saying they had no gas, so they couldn’t cook the food. We were told to cancel the order through Just Eat, but we couldn’t because the restaurant had already marked it as ready for collection. When we called back to explain this, the girl who answered asked us to hold for a moment and, clearly thinking we couldn’t hear her, said: ‘What is it that he doesn’t f****** understand?’ We understood perfectly — every issue was caused by the restaurant. While problems can happen, speaking about paying customers like that is completely unacceptable. We were then told to come back in for a cash refund. When confronted about her comment, instead of apologising, she claimed it “wasn’t about the guy on the phone.” What makes this worse is that we’ve been ordering from here for years, and over the last year there have been multiple issues, including incorrect orders — one involving allergies. When we called previously about an allergy-related mistake, we were told nobody in the kitchen could speak English. That is incredibly dangerous when dealing with food allergies. After years of being customers, the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect shown tonight has ensured we will never return.

28/04/2026: We got a beef thai green and a beef black bean. The thai green tasted nothing like a thai green curry it was unusually sweet the noodles along with it seemed to be microwaved. The black bean just tasted like a weird soy sauce. And to top it off we both were sick after trying it. Stay well clear of this place it's quite easily one of the worst meals I've ever had!

05/02/2026: Website said the cafe closes 9 pm but it is only 7:30 pm and the staff told me to leave and the sitting area is closed now. It is so small to even call a cafe. The have only 6 small tables and the staffs are also so rude.

06/03/2026: I ordered a product on 11 Dec 2025 and I am still waiting, I did not expect to get it before Christmas but the length of time I’ve been waiting is farcical. After many phone call I was told on the 18 Feb 2026 that it would be with me in 10 business days! Still waiting so rang again today the 6 March to be told it would not be in the UK warehouse till the 11th and then with me after 10 more business days. This is an absolute joke of a company and I’m sorry I ever had any dealings with them. Nit once did they ring or email me to say that the order would be delayed. I had to make all the calls to their so called Customer Service. I had to get an electrician to install the product and he is still waiting after 3 months to be able to finish my bathroom. Never again. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

06/02/2026: I ordered a product last week, on Thursday. As the company is based only a couple of counties away, I reasonably expected delivery within a day or two. When it didn’t arrive on Friday, I assumed it would come on Monday. It didn’t. Nor did it arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday … and here we are on Friday with still no sign of it. I rang to query the delay and was then told the product was actually out of stock and had to be shipped from the UK. This was never made clear at the time of ordering. Had I known it was coming from the UK, I would have ordered elsewhere … or simply used Amazon and had it delivered quicker. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and it raises a genuine question about whether stock is actually being held at all, or whether orders are effectively being fulfilled after the fact. Anyone can drop-ship … that’s not what customers expect when ordering from an Irish supplier. When I suggested that the website should clearly state when an item is out of stock, I was told it had been “flagged with IT.” Unfortunately, that’s of absolutely no use when you’ve ordered something you genuinely needed and were led to believe it was available. I am all for supporting Irish businesses … I make a point of doing so … but this kind of service makes it very difficult. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and excessive delivery times mean this will be the last time I order from here. I would strongly advise others not to assume next-day or even same-week delivery, regardless of what the website suggests.

02/05/2026: Came today ordered a foot long subway and all that, I asked only raw red onions for my subway that's what i got just the amount of them was really small so i asked her to put some more and the manager lady was like we can't put alot of them as it is hard to slice them 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ARE YOU SERIOUS? 🤣 Most lame excuse EVER.

10/04/2026: I order a portion of waffle fries and they were hard as a rock they were extremely crunchy and hallow and the inside and they were flakey they tasted horrible they had been sitting there for atleast a week by the looks of things. They margarita slice was good yet I found it hard to finish after seeing the waffle fries, when I went up to the counter to ask for a new portion of waffle fries they said they were all out and gave me some hashbrowns instead but they two also tasted foul and it was clear they weren’t fresh either.

10/04/2026: Horrible waiting times for delivery using Just Eat waited two hours for a foot long meal deal was told it was busy when I rang but still wait half an hour after I rang for my food

02/04/2026: I love the food in subway but I have a massive phobia of sauces and just cross contamination in general.the worker was making this guys food before me and got sauce all over his gloves and then went to make my food and didn’t change the gloves.This made me very uncomfortable and unhappy with my food.Please improve on this.

31/05/2026: I wouldn’t even order this when I’m drunk or hungover. The curry sauce is ridiculously watery, the chips are disgusting, and the delivery takes forever.

27/09/2025: Horrible service and not allergen-friendly whatsoever. I ordered an all-day egg works from there and was served by some grumpy old woman. When she cut the bagel she used a dirty knife that had been used just before mine. Gross enough already, except I have an allergy to cashew nuts and the knife had pesto on it. I asked if there was cashews in the pesto and she rudely asked my why. Even after explaining she just looked even more pissed off and used a slightly cleaner knife to cut a new bagel. Absolutely no manners and regard for health and safety. Could not recommend this dump less.

03/08/2025: The bagels are inedible, the cheese is microwaved instead of toasted which is strange but honestly the most disappointing thing is the service, the people working here have no manners honestly and will never return here, absolute waste of money. I work in retail as well and i understand you can't always be at your best but I got no hello or thank you back and the lady was just hostile to say the least and yelled at me instead of asking questions notmally. No comment

18/05/2026: Everything is done very quickly and efficient and the food is to die for. Everything is reasonably priced and staff are lovely

28/03/2026: Unfortunately, we encountered an awful situation. They were super discriminative against women. They were very disrespectful and awful when asked for an order, and made fun of us because we were from abroad. Never going back to this place.

I asked for chicken chow mein they sent me some dry tiny pieces of chicken no sauce the starter of the skewers in a bag not a tray badly packed so disappointed only thing was good about it all was the driver was very nice

24/03/2026: I had a simple curry chips today- very disappointing as the chips had clearly been sitting under the lamps waiting to be served for quite sometime. Poor value for money also - chips and curry sauce a whopping €7 for substandard grub.

11/02/2026: Had a chicken Noodle with Szehuan sauce recently. Not real chicken unfortunately, too jelly like. But, what is in that sauce? Could not quench my thirst the whole evening. It must be laced in MSG! Won't be ordering there again.

12/09/2025: Gone very downhill. The service was always atrocious but the food made up for it. Now the food has gone properly downhill. The last few times it was very disappointing.

28/08/2025: this is genuinely the worst chinese in dublin, spicebag was full of disgusting greasy scabby chips with about 4 tiny pieces of chicken. curry sauce is greasy enough to give you a heart attack. chips and chicken taste like decade old oil aswell
