The best restaurants

29/10/2024: Decided to buy food from here because there was no other places around during late hours but turned out to be one of the best decisions. Tried their spicy chicken kebab and it was so good. We went again to that area just to buy the kebab.

16/09/2024: The Burren Take-Away. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, namely, feed you after a night on the town! Had the Snack Box, and at €7 it was a Good Deal! and surprisingly, quite tasty too! In the box which was stuffed to the brim! was 2 Piping Hot pieces of Spicy Battered Fried Chicken, which were crispy dry and tasty! and some lovely chunky dry crispy fries and plenty of them too! And I was actually Sober too! Only one thing guys ... SMILE at your customers! There not there to rob you! You're doing a Good Job! 'Smile' and say thanks enjoy!

29/12/2024: The service is good but the place smells disgusting! Homeless people are harassing customers that are dining in so you can’t really stay inside and enjoy your coffee. The management should do something with security as even the staff are being disrespected by the stinky guys loitering in the cafe. I felt unsafe throughout my short stay on this place.

21/11/2024: The toilets were terribly dirty!!! And the place was also dirty. The staff very smiling and helpful

25/11/2024: Very rude staff, you have to create an account which takes forever to create and no one explains to you how to do it right so I waisted 30 minutes to get to my class which I was looking forward to.

21/12/2024: The customer service is just horrible I wanted to make an online order n was asking price of a dish with rice n she just hang up and didn't call me back. I had ordered twice before the same weekand the chef is good n has basic manners but the staff don't. Secondly on the website it says they are open and delivering from 1 30 pm but they actually start at 6 pm even on weekends but unfortunately if someone new would call them to ask about tht, the staff would rudely just hang up on them n say its been like tht since 2 yrs!

19/12/2024: Definitely the best spice bag in sligo 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟for the spice bag. I ordered vegetarian Singapore noodles one evening to take away and when I got home and opened it it had chicken and prawns in it. I went there again and eat in the restaurant and ordered the vegetarian noodles that are cooked in soy sauce and it tasted like it was cooked in a pan that had meat in it as the oil on the food had a meaty taste to it and really under seasoned I couldn't taste any soy sauce or any seasoning at all , the spring rolls were nice , but I was disappointed with the lack of flavour both times I ordered a noodle dish and they should be cooking vegetarian dishes in a separate wok with no meat residue in the oil. I will definitely be returning for a spice bag but not sure if I would order another noodle dish from them as I don't like the taste of meat on my vegetarian food. The staff that I have met are absolutely lovely and very kind and welcoming.

29/09/2024: Bar manager said they wouldn’t show the last 15 minutes of the Celtic game because it’s too much trouble. Shame they are happy to have scarves from clubs with at best questionable political stances. A few minutes later Idah, a man from County Cork, scored for Celtic - sad they won’t support their own.

19/12/2024: We ordered for the first time and the food and service were great. Everyone can have a different experience, ours was great. And we have eaten Indian food in many countries.

21/09/2024: Yum for the mun! Value is good, best in the area if so ask me. Staff are pleasant and a minor picky order for them is handled like pros. Food reminds me of a Country Kitchen vibe. Because of all the above, I would recommend and will be back.

11/01/2025: Can't believe this bar is still here I'm from Killarney but worked in limerick city around the corner from this bar that was in the eighties one man ran it that time, real gentleman he used to cash our cheques every Thursday, would really love to call there again it hasn't changed since I was in there last.
