The best restaurants

30/10/2025: I got a pepperoni pizza with chicken curry chips out of Hot Corner Pizza and Kebabs in Waterford City for delivery. The pizza was not up to standard, as there was a lack of cheese on the pizza and the toppings were only something from the supermarket, as they should use better quality ingredients for their pizza, because you are paying the price for good food. Also the chips weren't nice either, as they were cold on the outside and extremely hot on the inside. The chicken tastes rubbery also and the curry was mediocre, tasting like Chef or McDonnell's Curry, as you would expect better tasting curry for the price you were paying for the food. Overall, the food was not great out of Hot Corner. The service was a lot worse, because I got it delivered. First off, the delivery was late, which is not on. This shows that this restaurant is not punctual. Also I did not get an apology for the late delivery, as it is common courtesy to do so. When I collected my food from the delivery driver, he seemed a bit rude, as he did not look like he wanted to be delivering food, but still. It costs nothing to be nice. As I have not been to the restaurant itself, I am giving the atmosphere 0 starts. Hot Corner, cop yourselves on and manage your restaurant better or else you will just lose customers. Thanks.

14/10/2025: "WOW"...finally, I found a fast food place that reminds me of home, Liverpool City. I ordered the large pizza (Margherita) large donner kebab (fresh salad, tender tasty lamb meat) and chips (proper fat, chunky real potato chips), DEELISH food., and delivered for 3euro.. "The Hot Corner" Barrack St, I will not go nowhere else now... Nice one lads ... 5 Star fast food and very reasonable priced,.....15euro pizza, large donner n chips...STILL in 2025 the best

23/09/2025: If you don’t like Sweet n Sour - don’t eat here.. Every dish bar curry, looks and tastes the same.. If you like something extra spicy or well done, Don’t eat here.. Summary if you like all your food to taste like Gluppey Sweet n Sour this is the place for you… if not Do Not Eat here

03/07/2025: Buscando dónde almorzar nos topamos con este lugar pero terminó siendo muy decepcionante. Cuando hicimos el pedido nos dijeron que todo estaba preparado previamente, por lo que, como no pudimos cambiar nada, mi hija tuvo que cambiar su pedido a un croissant. El personal no fue muy bueno, el servicio fue muy lento (no estaban ocupados en ese momento) y dejaron una cosa a la vez en la mesa, lo que significó que el té estaba tibio y tuve que pedir la leche varias veces. Pedimos té fresco cuando llegó la comida porque estaba fría y la camarera meneó la cabeza mientras se alejaba (¡el té fresco también estaba tibio!). Habíamos pedido 3 Toasties de bacon pero resultó que solo quedaba uno, lo cambiamos por tostadas francesas y una selección de panes (2 rebanadas de pan 4 €). La comida era normal, no muy de nuestro gusto, pero era muy cara para lo que recibiste. Lamentablemente no recomendaría este lugar.

22/06/2025: Hoy estuvimos en la ciudad con una de nuestras hijas para tomar café y encontramos Laduree Café. Es un verdadero café de estilo francés. El personal es súper, los pasteles y bollos son divinos. La presentación es de primera clase. Probablemente es el mejor café que he visitado y calles delante de Café De Paris en Mónaco. Por cierto también es buena relación calidad-precio y precios similares a café suburbano sin factor sorpresa o clase. Pensando en abrir un café necesitas visitar aquí y ver cómo superar las expectativas. El mejor lugar en Dublín para café y pasteles.

24/07/2025: Prime burger meal curry sauce and a water. Burger for the price was not very good. Very dry and rubbery. A few fried onions a small but of lettuce cheap tasting cheese covered in a sauce which wasn't very nice at all. Some kind of burger sauce. Chips were not crispy at all and I agree about the oil in other reviews just not very fresh tasting. Curry was very sweet. 15.10 is very expensive for what I got. Not a lot of quality food going on here. I'd skip this one in future. In response to Macari response. Lads trip advisor is 3 out of 5 Facebook is 3.7 gastroranking is 3.1. At some point you might realise everyone is not trolling you. Im happy that you stand over your ingredients so cook and present them better. When you charge a higer price expectations go up with that price. Good luck.

19/05/2025: Seriously best pizza in town. Fresh and soft dough, fruity tomato sauce and very generous on the topics. I specifically love the vegetarian one and look forward to my next order already.

25/11/2025: Fabulous chicken biryani, TWICE the size of any portion I've ever had on a takeaway...the taste and quality of the food is equal to the best I've eaten in the west...very friendly staff, I'll be recommending them to anyone who will listen....I'd give them 6 stars if I could .

05/07/2025: I stumbled upon Curry House last week, and I’m so glad I did! The food is absolutely amazing. The onion rings were crispy and golden, and the curry sauce on the chicken skewers was rich, nutty, and full of flavor. You can tell everything is freshly cooked. Definitely my new go-to for a treat!

28/10/2025: It is a very underrated place. Food is absolutely amazing. Pizza was world class and chicken burger was one of the best I ever had. Dont get on to other reviews bad mouthing it. I ordered from Just Eat. The food was absolutely worth the price.

16/07/2025: I seen all the reviews and booked 1 night stay, unfortunately I didn’t get good experience . Welcoming people but need to be professional . Long wait for breakfast though we booked for a slot night before. But good breakfast! It’s just personal experience depending on how we expect things to be. Generally, not feel good environment to me . Sorry to write this.

15/06/2025: Everything is clean, cozy like home and quiet. Free parking, delicious and hearty traditional Irish breakfast. Incredibly nice hostess!

10/08/2025: Ordered a takeaway from this place tonight. The food is pathetic. Ordered 2 chapattis but we got 2 naan instead. The king prawn masala and chicken masala was disgusting. The amount the colour added made the gravy appear reddish pink (pic attached) and it tasted more like a dessert....it was so so so sweet that we could not eat beyond 1 spoon. I would recommend you starve yourself than eat at this place and waste your money.

25/08/2025: Very expensive, the tiur guides and drivers were once looked after for bringing thousands of people here every year. Now they won't even give a cappuccino. I will be recommending everybody to go to Durty Nellys at the top of the road.

27/09/2025: To be fair the rooms are fine. And also to be fair, this should not even be a hotel with the noise. It’s ridiculous and you will not sleep. Had to move coffee cup off of the table because it was shaking.

24/09/2025: I got Chicken & Broccoli with Noodles and a Sprite, €17.50. The Broccoli was yellow, brown and slimy. I threw half of it in the bin as it put me off. Overpriced below par food but nice Counter Staff. Shame really 😔

16/05/2025: Coke missing. Dry chicken, tasteless Satay sauce. Charged fir two rice's.
