27/06/2026: The fries were half burnt and half not cooked. We asked for no tomatoes in the philly steak very clearly on just eat app but i guess they dont pay attention to notes written on just eat. The fired chicken was good

16/06/2026: Prices up, quality down. Like a previous review said, very sweet. I was able to correct the dish, but at 15 quid, I shouldnt have to.

03/09/2026: I dont like to leave bad reviews but food was pretty disappointing. We should have read reviews before visiting. Staff are friendly though!

23/08/2026: We went there for a Bolognese like 45min before they were closing. Was very surprised to get a really good pasta with bolognese. Very friendly service.

16/05/2026: I have ordered a chicken fried rice on Uber for delivery as I was very tired. First I have waited for the delivery an hour and a half for it to get to me. Once it's got to me my order was completely wrong. It was prawns and beef fried rice. I'm allergic to prawns. I have called them up. They offered me another fried rice with some freebies. They say they send me a fried rice and prawn crackers. Rice was so overcooked that my dog didn't even want to touch it and it was so tasted as that my hunger just disappeared from all this disappointment

07/05/2026: The food is amazing been a loyal customer for 3 years and even when the price or ownership change they always have better quality than most The Service is great even though i blab and ask too many questions sophia has handled them with professionalism.

18/07/2026: They claim to be premium. I ordered duck and received it in three minutes. You can't roast duck in three minutes. Besides, the duck looked like it had been bought fried and frozen. They just thawed it and microwaved it. It wasn't juicy. It was just a regular duck.

07/07/2026: Got takeaway from here last night and the quality has really declined over the years. We ordered a chicken curry and a sweet and sour chicken both sauces had a very gelatinous/gloopy texture that wasn't one bit appetising, also the rice was very mushy and not cooked properly. It's a shame to see the quality has gone downhill here as it was great before.

25/08/2026: The food was amazing but horrible service. We had to chase down our server to order drinks, our meal, desert and the bill. They need to hire more staff to adequately service the volume of customers. They turned away customers while we were there and there were many tables open. Our server was also functioning as a hostess. Hire more staff is my recommendation.

09/06/2026: The service was very attentive and friendly, can't fault it. Guinness was very tasty. Salmon was well cooked but unfortunately the dish was very under seasoned and I had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make it taste of anything. Portion size also quite small and left me still feeling hungry. Prices obviously inflated for the airport hotel location, but even then feels a few € too much for what you get.

11/08/2026: Food taste is very bad I ordered chicken curry & chicken biriyani but it was like sweet soup chicken not cooked properly and chicken biriyani it’s like tomato rice topping with tomato slices on rice Very very bad experience I decided not to order any more in future

14/06/2026: This was my first and definitely last visit to this place. My fiancée and I wanted to try something different, so we chose Dhaka during our visit to Castlebar. As soon as we got to our table, I noticed right away that it was dirty, greasy, and sticky. That was the first red flag, but we decided to give them a chance, thinking maybe they just hadn't had time to clean it yet. Communicating with the waiter was difficult because his English was very poor. We waited nearly 50 minutes for our food. The prawns were almost raw, and the beef was so tough that it was impossible to chew. However, I wouldn't give a 1-star review just for the food quality alone. What the manager (or owner, I'm not sure) did was way over the line. He was walking around the dining area almost the entire time, talking loudly on his phone. Then, he sat down just a few tables away from us and started picking at his toenails! It was so disgusting that we stopped eating halfway through our meal. (I just hope he doesn't do the same thing in the kitchen). We will never, ever come back here.

11/09/2026: Friendly staff, Dannan was very considerate and attentive. The donuts were tasty and the coffee was good.

09/08/2026: Usually this is a good place but the last time I was there a member of staff had their boyfriend sitting on the counter. One thing I do like about this place is no dog policy this is a common sense policy that should be in place in all places where people are trying to eat 10/10

17/07/2025: Not gonna lie I don’t eventually want to write this review. We waited 50 minutes for them to bring me the wrong order, I ordered chicken roll with sweet chilli, corn and lettuce but they gave me bread and chicken, there was some kind of seasoning in the chicken and it was cold. Had to vomit in the bathroom for 15 minutes afterwards. For €20 each this is ridiculous!

14/07/2025: AVOID. AWFUL OVERPRICED FOOD AND TERRIBLE SERVICE . Ordered vegetarian breakfast burrito. It was cooked in same pan as bacon. When I queried this it was denied by staff member. Fortunately I could see food being cooked from my table only a few feet away. When I asked the staff member she blatantly denied meat and vegetarian food cooked in same pan. I had to walk her over to cooking area and point it out to her which seemed to leave her speechless. My son ordered Irish breakfast which was inedible. No apology from staff or manager. Very disappointing. When I asked for the bill the waitress asked me if I wanted the burrito taken off bill?! Shocked at how bad this was.

14/07/2026: For a restaurant part of a big hotel it is very sad being send away after a long day drive as their kitchen closed extremely early at 19:45… Had to go out and search for an alternative. This is zero service for such a big hotel!!

15/06/2026: For the second day, we tried the food here and were completely satisfied. My partner, a chef, finding a good restaurant for him can sometimes be difficult, but this time he was happy. The service was also good, and the staff were nice and friendly. Diverse and healthy atmosphere.. Thanks a lot.

19/09/2026: Before trying New Land, I’ve heard from 2 different set of friends that this place has good food. I have ordered twice already via phone call for pick up. Always always good food, nothing disappointing. Taste is great value for money. Quick service and approachable staff.

01/08/2026: Don’t like to be negative but I Ordered sweet chilli chicken when egg fried rice, the chicken was not crispy at all and the sauce tasted like ketchup and was real thick,
