The best restaurants

06/03/2025: Was at the Beacon Hospital for the day to support my partner and went in search of food. Delighted to find this café had a couple of vegan food options, especially compared to Naas General Hospital where we'd been recently that had nothing. Falafel wrap and vegan Gyoza poké bowl were great options. Plant milk for drinks too.

27/01/2025: The sign on the door says the shop opens at 10:00 a.m. The shop still isn't open at 10:40. Open your shop when it says it's meant to be open or change your opening times.

14/02/2025: Pedido de esta franquicia. Tienen un rastreador del conductor, rastreamos al conductor por la ciudad durante 35 minutos sin entregar nuestra orden. Llamamos a la pizzería en 3 ocasiones y cada vez que nos dijeron que estaría con nosotros en 5 minutos - mentiras completas como el rastreador dijo 20 minutos - que estaba en el otro lado de la ciudad! Nos informaron que el conductor no estaba entregando ninguna otra pizza, pero la nuestra! Después de 40 minutos cancelamos el pedido, y nos informó el gerente de turno que recibiríamos un reembolso! 7 llamadas telefónicas, 4 correos electrónicos no ha llegado ningún reembolso y ninguna comunicación de dominó. Absolutamente impactante. Estamos llevando esto más allá.

04/01/2025: El pan de ajo estaba bueno, decente. La pizza estaba empapada, demasiada salsa de tomate, no tenía buen sabor. Carnes de baja calidad y bajo sabor. Fui por una pizza carnosa. No vale la pena el dinero

25/01/2025: For years I’ve been ordering here , and last delivery was just a joke the chips where fit only for the seagulls , little bits of hard chips , and the fresh cod was like it had been sitting in an oven over night dried out . It’s hard to take a second chance when a few chips and a fish cost 40€ . Not a happy customer .

21/03/2025: Gone to the dogs since it was renovated under new management it was made to be a more sporty kind of bar, people were promised big things and what drogheda needed but didn't turn out like that whatsoever. It was a great spot before that when it was more fancish and had great music, food and vibes always packed on weekends but it's not anymore. I would avoid this place now even the kind of people they let in now prove it. Such a let down. I've been in it twice since its renovation and made the decision of not going back for the foreseeable. If you're looking for a fancish bar with good food, vibes and music Trinity quarter is your spot only a short walk down the road. Everyone I've talked to about this place doesn't step foot in it anymore. They Should've left it the way it was. And the reviews in recent times prove it so different from the reviews before the new management. Foods alright but I would still Avoid.

17/03/2025: We went here a few months ago and had to send the food back it was that bad,but said we would go for a drink to give it another chance. Went with our 2 year old. Pints were stinking. Had to change my child on the bathroom floor because the disabled/baby changing area was locked by staff. For somewhere that serves food and should be family friendly its an absolute disgrace. I'll give it another month at the most bedore its closed and rightly so. Good luck

13/03/2025: The service was incredibly pleasant. All the staff were very friendly and it really added to the nice atmosphere! I got the wrap of the day (teriyaki chicken wrap) and I devoured it. It was absolutely delicious. Would definitely come here again! 10/10

28/04/2025: This was the most horrible food I have ever tasted in my life. Absolutely all the food was not fresh and was prepared maybe a couple of weeks ago, at best. All you can drink in this place is only water and only in a bottle.

24/01/2025: Ordered here today, only to get home and discover 6 pieces of chicken missing and a burnt pizza. Disgusting service. Stay away.

15/12/2024: Had a doner kebab meal from a spot in town, and it was absolutely brilliant! The portion size for the price is unmatched—haven’t come across anything like this in Ireland. The staff were super friendly too. Came back the next day with a colleague, and we tried the mixed kebab meal—loved it just as much. Highly recommend this place!

15/04/2025: Food is standard nothing special for the value had better burger king food throughout the past standard below the usual unfortunately but not hesitate to give it another go in the future 🫡

09/03/2025: Out for a nice walk today at Giles Quay and was peckish and we were heading to Carlingford lunch when we spotted Fergusons on the way out Well we thought we’d try this place and it was the worst decision we ever made Looked good on entry and there was a nice buzz inside. That’s where the niceties ended. We were seated and menus given out and drinks ordered, the Guinness was top notch, we ordered chicken wings for starters and they took 45 minutes to reach the table They were just okay Another 45 minutes later our main meals arrived, I got slow roasted beef with mash and vegetables my wife had battered cod with skinny fries and peas We don’t usually review food but I feel that I must warn you to steer clear of this place I don’t really know how to describe the beef dinner only to say that it was a massive plate of gooey mash with plenty of overcooked beef on top with lots of overcooked roasted potatoes and vegetables basically it was a plate of gooey mush The fish dinner wasn’t a whole pile better The service was very poor as I had to go to the bar myself on 2 occasions We ain’t hard to please but this was the worst dining experience we have had in a very very long time Steer clear

03/03/2025: Had heard good things about this bar/restaurant but was even better than we had hoped. The service was phenomenal. The staff literally couldn't do enough. Were attentive without being annoying and were so friendly. They made good recommendations and the food did not disappoint. We had the seafood tacos and chicken kumbo for dinner. Both excellent. Portions are big but that didn't stop us ordering desert which was also delicious. Had the homemade tiramisu and cheesecake. Could not fault the service and the location is so stunning. It was getting dark as we arrived but would definitely recommend a walk in Giles' Quay before/after visiting the restaurant. Will definitely be back.

30/03/2025: The most ignorant staff in all of Ireland rang for the buffet said it was finished at 5 came at 4.45 refused me and told me there was no tables for normal sit down when I could clearly see tables free stoped going there because of the ignorance it’s not normal
