The best restaurants

27/08/2024: Ordered lamb makhani, got pieces of meat in what can only be described as paint. It was a bright pink concoction that tasted like sweetened chalk. €14 down the drain, literally.

27/08/2024: Very disappointed in our takeaway this time. Fried rice was awful, totally tasteless! Had bits of egg in it but otherwise was boiled rice, nothing more. King prawn cashew nut dish was disappointing also, really lacking flavour. The spice bag was 90% chips and a few bits of fried chicken ( which was quite nice) Worst ever takeaway over quite a few years. Please improve!!!

11/08/2024: Best bang for your buck of any restraunt I've ever been to in Ireland. 11 euro for crispy chilly chicken ib honey chilly with egg fried rice, portion big enough for dinner and lunch. Also the restraunt is really nice itself.

03/12/2024: We both got doner trays, I didn’t know that much garlic sauce existed in Ireland until I seen it all on these doner trays Christ almighty. Neither of us could finish them as everything was drowned in sauce. Trays were absolutely packed though huge portion but unfortunately wasted money for us as couldn’t even finish them due to amount of sauce. Titanic could’ve floated in them. Meat was only warm aswell wasn’t hot at all.

25/10/2024: Bought myself a kebab after the gym, a lot of meat,juicy and very good 10/10👍

15/12/2024: Absolutely disgusting AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Not only did I find a HAIR in my rice I also got butter chicken more like OIL WITH A SIDE OF CHICKEN, the popadoms were so stale they were flexible. I rang up to discuss my issue and they didn’t seem to care and took a long long time to apologise after I asked. Do not get anything from here

24/09/2024: Stopped off on our way back to the UK. We had booked a studio. Room very tired. The bathroom shower cubicle was not clean and there was a broken door. The kitchen basic and again the window was not clean, the mirror in the main room was also not clean. In front of the rooms there were a couple of tables and chairs - but again the whole area needed to be tided and cleaned. No food was available at the hotel so, we went to a local takeaway. Given it was over £150 for a one night stay, room only, I was expecting a more modern facility with up to date, clean rooms. For me, not great value for money and I would look elsewhere next time.

12/08/2024: The apartment was lovely we really enjoyed our stay the view of the sea and the saltee island was fantastic

03/01/2025: Now I have only tried 3 items here so i can't really give a great overview, however i have to say i love the pain au chocolate!!! Compared to general cost in Cork i would argue you get a very good amount of pain au chocolate here! 1,80€ (if i am not mistaken) i mean sure it is mostly air since it is a puff pastry and all that but it is rather big. Now compared to the french original i would say it is not perfect but i enjoyed eating it a lot! I came a lot of times just for a pain au chocolate! I also simply loved the vibes of the store, it not only looks super cute from the outside but it manages to give that nice bakery feeling that makes you feel all cozy inside, at least in my opinion. They have so many more pastries that look absolutely amazing that i have yet to try tho. Would recommend.

13/01/2025: Been to this restaurant a few times and I can sae the food is different each time I go there. Currently not enough soya sauce in this food.

13/09/2024: Food is amazing quality and taste. Quality ingredients. Main meals come with rice or noodles ( small uplift for egg fried rice - less than a euro) Prices are very reasonable too. Staff are very friendly. Food cooked fresh to order. Sit in or takeaway.

07/11/2024: Foods insane staff are legends atmosphere absolutely lethal. 10/10 would recommend!
