The best restaurants

12/11/2025: I was super disappointed. It used to be my favourite go to food place in NZ, so I got very excited. The pita was so sad - only a few pieces of chicken (mostly cold) it was overstuffed with mixed lettuce- ice berg and italian lettuce even though the menu says just iceberg lettuce. Despite being toasted it was mostly cold and the whole pita fell apart with first bite and was difficult to eat. Only has some of it anyway as it wasn’t good at all. It had no flavour. I ordered the hot peri peri chicken pita…. Wedges were hot & decent, the only 2 star saving grace. The guy at the till was friendly. Very disappointed.

13/09/2025: We popped in here for a late family meal & it exceeded all expectations, all dishes were fresh & lovely & the staff were great. Also very reasonable price wise. Would definitely recommend.

08/09/2025: People are nice. Just the food was nothing like any real Chinese I have ever had, which does not necessairly mean it tasted bad. It was weird and lazy, or probably for non-Asian clientile.

01/05/2025: I originally had given this restaurant a 5 star review on the back of having been there a number of times. However, having recently returned, I found that this place has dropped a lot in quality and service. I believe it has changed hands/under new management and it would appear to have gone downhill since then. Such a pity, it was a great place to eat and family friendly.

11/04/2025: Unfortunately, food was just ok and that's me being "generous". Service felt like we were back in 90s. Atmosphere was like a nearly closing down place. Huge potential in the right hands,but definitely not into whomever runs it now. I'm not the person to complain and haven't said anything while settling the bill (which was 74 euro for 2 people and not even a "thank you" received). Won't be rushing again to eat here,for sure.

08/02/2025: Index is gone. The security staff, who many people have mentioned before, were an issue. I was there with my girlfriend and had a bean bag with me. One of the bouncers jokingly called it a "lady bag" and kept laughing at me. I didn’t want to argue with him because I knew he wouldn’t let me in after, but honestly, some basic customer service would be nice. I paid for my ticket, which helps pay their wages, so a little professionalism isn’t too much to ask. I get that they don’t need to be geniuses, but hiring staff with at least some common sense and a professional attitude would go a long way. The security checks also feel more intense than at an international airport. And maybe try opening on time? We know you’re the only club in Dublin, so we don’t have many options, but this is Ireland—it’s windy, and it rains. Standing outside for an hour in that weather is enough to make anyone sick. I used to love Index, not gonna lie.

01/02/2025: Mind the bouncers, they will sack you for the minimal reason or not let you go in if you arrive late doesn't matter if you have the ticket already.

25/08/2025: Guys, you just lost a client who has been ordering pizza from you every week for the last 2 years and will not order again. Do you know why? You sent me a 15% discount with the code Summer15 by email, but it doesn't work. Although it says I can use it until 29.08. I really don't like it when people consider me an idiot. Good luck in business, I regret spending thousands of euros on you during this time.

30/07/2025: Very very disappointing. The coffee was so bad that we went back to the counter and we were told that's just how it is. The soup was tasty. The grounds & park are beautiful, but the tea room is a let down.

17/06/2025: Big disappointment. We were here a few years ago, the food was very good. That's why we decided to invite our guests to this place. We will definitely never go back there. After 3 pm a lot of smoothies were unavailable, but still on the board soup and fries too. Food without taste pasta salad with one dried tomato is a kind of joke. Quiche not heated enough Service just like food not the best. Outdoor tables low, uncomfortable chairs. I don't recommend it to people who value the quality of food

28/09/2025: Fancied a doner kebab. Wish I hadn't bothered. Probably the worst I've every had. Very little salad. The meat was warm but very dry. And the pitta bread was hidden under the meat ,uncooked. Will not be back

20/09/2025: Extremely rude staff longer waits stone cold food and soggy wet chips. Told us we would need to wait another hour to get fresh food sent out. Absolutely shocking customer service.

29/06/2025: Staff steal pints when you go to toilet, First time it happened, I put it down to being my fault, But 2nd time ... it's a policy

24/05/2025: Nice food, music not blaring in your ear. Nice atmosphere. Outside are cosy and secluded from the street. Nice find.

01/09/2025: Absolutly shocking, wouldnt even give 1 star, driver romanian and couldnt follow a map to eircode and tried to say i was at wrong location, beyond bad, if you want food go get it yourself, dont rely on driver

21/08/2025: worst pizza in town, i have to call the shop 3 times after placing an online order to explain how my pizza needs to be done also that the toppings needs to be all over the pizza and not on 11 inch pizza 3 inch of toppings and still got a crappy pizza. STAY AWAY STAY HEALTY !

08/09/2025: Fantastic takeaway! We got a spice box and beef chow mein, both were great. Quick, delicious, and really convenient. Highly recommend!

30/11/2025: The food would be nice, but a strong old oil after-taste, more than once. For the premium price they charge, this needs to be fixed. Waiting area OK to wait through the rain.

10/11/2025: Saturday 08.11.2025. 10pm ish.The advertised pictures and the actual "food" you get are world's apart. The portions were very small even though we had decided to "go large" after a long day's travelling. The food order was handed out within a minute of ordering on the automated order system. The burgers were stone cold (no exaggeration) so obviously were sitting there waiting for customers to come along. Had to ask for them to be heated. Won't be eating there again!! Ordered it for "eat in", it was marked on the food as eat in, handed the order in a paper bag, had to ask for a tray.

25/10/2025: So much potential but such a wasted opportunity, they would cook patties and leave them sitting around for someone to order something.. that's when they assemble the burger, it's very obvious because everything is cold from the fridge and the pattie is bearly warm.. your going to poison someone

06/09/2025: Valentino's used to be amazing with the previous owners. But since the switch the food has been well below par. I can't say that I've ordered much since the change of ownership, but anytime I have their has always been a problem with the food.
