The best restaurants

21/04/2026: Called in with a group of friends a few weeks back and, for the most part, it was an enjoyable night. The staff were welcoming and the venue was buzzing, which definitely added to the overall atmosphere. That said, the music didn’t live up to expectations. PlayHouse were on, but the DJ’s attitude came across as dismissive, and the transitions and overall mixing were fairly poor. One of the group had been there recently and recognised the set almost track for track, which was disappointing. Given Cork’s long-standing house music scene, the standard felt underwhelming. The crowd and energy were spot on, but the music itself fell well short of what it could — and should — have been.

21/03/2026: My aunt had her going away party tonight, we had to leave our tables because a family of travellers seem to drink here regularly and we’re aggressive to us. I’m still disappointed about this as it was our last time together. Edison was never like this before

17/06/2026: I’m absolutely fuming! I ordered food for both myself and my partner from Top Pizza that’s based across from the Milk Market in Limerick City. The food was supposed to arrive at 9:30. It had gotten to 9:50 and no sign. I went to my front door and they had left my order of food on my porch. No calls. No knocking or the ringing the door bell and of course the food is stone cold!! The two of us both rang them, to a man shouting at us, blaming and out right telling us it wasn’t their fault and could not help us and hung up on us. We proceeded to go into the actual shop and they refused to give us a refund. €36 spent!! The driver shrugged his shoulders and blamed us and said it wasn’t his fault. And also blamed by staff that I had the wrong contact information in my Just Eat. Explained I never change that information and funnily enough they had delivered to us the night before and were able to call my number no problem! Left with no refund but hoping Just Eat will sort it, just putting this up to steer clear of them, and don’t support them! Customer service has taken an all time low!

13/06/2026: DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE USING CARD PAYMENT …… they took my money and never delivered the food and when I tried callin they were pure ignorant just sayin it’s on its way they lied it never came

05/07/2026: What has happened to this place! I was a regular when I visited this shopping centre. We loved the French toast covered in a mountain of bacon. This time my daughter wanted pancakes with crispy bacon, when they arrived there were 3 tiny bits or barely cooked bacon. I told her to order an extra portion of crispy bacon, we couldn’t help but burst out laughing when it arrived. 2 limp pieces of bacon on a huge plate. I felt rude for laughing so didn’t say it at the time. Paid an extra €2.50 for the privilege. I ordered the bacon Hash. Very little bacon again and it was very very oily. Toward the bottom you could see a pool Of oil. I asked for avocado smash with it. Waitress said it comes with it. Yet I was charged €3.50 extra. All in all, it was very very over priced. Almost €70 for 1 adult and 2 children for lunch. Unfortunately this was my last visit.

03/07/2026: Terrible cheap food prepared badly. Avoid at all costs.

08/06/2026: We stopped by for lunch and ordered a 14-inch Monroe’s Special pizza, customised as a vegetarian option. The sourdough base was well made and topped generously with a good variety of fresh vegetables. However, considering the size and overall offering, the pizza felt somewhat overpriced at this price point €25 for 14 inches pizza, especially when there are several strong pizza options elsewhere in Galway that may offer better value for money.

04/05/2026: Very disappointing experience. I was told there was no working toilet, which is hard to believe in a food business. If that’s true, it’s a serious issue — if not, it’s even worse. Either way, not a good look.

23/05/2026: Very rude staff looked for the code for the bathroom and young staff member told me to 'open my eyes' will not be returning.

25/04/2026: So efficient and very friendly staff. Nice place to relax and enjoy a coffee and a sandwich after the shopping in Dunnes stores in Naas town. Still as efficient as before and friendly.

02/07/2026: The newcomers staff aren’t good. Rude and speak only in their language! Not the best hygiene practiced in store too. Sad for Galway

30/06/2026: Terrible staff. Very arrogant and unpleasant. Went to buy pampers in emergency cost me €17 for a small pack of 20 nappies. Alway avoid even if there is an emergency.

28/06/2026: Hands down worst food and worst staff I've ever come across. Have videos and pictures of whoever the fella in glasses is shouting and telling people the food doesn't "suit them" bare in mind it was chicken and chips. Absolutely incredible service, food has been taken away and being sent for testing, avoid this place and avoid horrible humans like that worker. I'm not even bringing up the cracked and chipped plates and dirty cutlery and glasses. So awful I'll be making sure the restaurant and worker is held accountable.

24/06/2026: Ordered food at 10 oclock never came gave them a ring to see what was up they said should be here in 5 minutes 3 hours later no food delivered and about 20 calls whit no answer won’t be placing a order here any more 0 stars only put them cuz it Wouldint let me do the review if i didn’t

22/06/2026: Chicken was raw, service was good and the food came quickly….almost too quickly which was the problem…BC THE CHICKEN WAS RAW!!!!

23/05/2026: Got a coffee here and the person that gave it to me had a bugger hanging out of their nose. When I mentioned this to them they just flicked it onto the ceiling. Coffee wasn't too bad though.

16/03/2026: It is very dry and very spicy, you can't eat it, I don't recommend it at all.

13/07/2026: Awful, got chips and couldn't eat them went straight to the bin, seemed like they were stale and reheated. Never again.

15/05/2026: Ordered southern fried breast of chicken and chips. There was confusion over who takes the order and what the order entailed. I had to reiterate "SOUTHERN FRIED" when I heard someone say "roast" The chips were grand, a bit pale perhaps. The chicken was a big disappointment. Technically I got what I paid for but in Kildare we get breast with skin and bones. This was a flattened coated breast. The coating was nice. The girl who served me was engaging and pleasant to deal with and they had a few table and chairs by the window so that I could sit and wait.
