24/07/2026: Got our first chinese here on Wednesday, we ordered chips , chicken curry and chicken balls , omg the chicken was absolutely disgusting didnt even taste like chicken. This will definitely be our last time ever ordering from this Chinese, definitely wasn't impressed

13/07/2026: My work colleagues and I had food out of this place twice this week and it was amazing fresh and delicious the way food should be most definitely will order again

22/05/2026: Kebab was lovely, got a bacon ,cheese garlic chips, what ever it was in the mix was not bacon . It was not good, chips, cheese and sauce was lovely but that imitation bacon let it down badly. Lads were sound tho.

05/10/2026: If you ordering delivery, know you will wait a lot, because they couldn't care less!

15/08/2026: We ordered Large Chicken Shawarma Kebab and a Large Lamb Tikka BBQ Kebab. My Kebab was very small for a large and missing the ordered cheese. One was soaked in sauce and the other bone dry. Very average food. The Shawarma was very dry and no flavour.

13/07/2026: Tried ringing for a delivery, Hung up on me. Called again order was missing drinks Couldn't finish the chicken tenders you could taste the old oil. Tried a third of the chicken. Kebab wasnt great. The place will not be getting my money again. Food would run right through you. 1/10

17/05/2026: I remember Dominics used to be a great chippy. Now, the food is bland and the staff are really rude and dismissive.

19/02/2026: Absolutely horrible place. The owner walking around in sandals with his huge toenails exposed while you try to eat. Tables all sticky and dirty. Hygiene is completely absent here and any self respecting Irish person should avoid. I’m extremely ill after eating here!

12/09/2026: My self and my partner went here and asked about a draft beer we had the week before and was told by a staff member no such drink exists, he was extremely rude, laughed and walked away. It was a gluten free dietary requirement due to and an allergy. I noticed the beer available on another tap and queried it, then the owner said ' well this beer isn't gluten free, I reiterated if the advertised beer is the one tapped then its gluten free. Its acwell know brand that offers a gluten free option. The owner reluctantly agreed it was but stated they don't advertise it, instead of politely admiting he was wrong. I had got another drink and asked if I cluld chage it, inwas told no way then he walked off. I was very annoyed by arkward conversation, laughing and rude responses. We sat down at a table near the door and noticed we didn't get any beer mats, I complained to my partner that I won't be asking them for anymore, the rude younger fella overheard and proceeded to throw one at me and said ' we were given one ' Absolutely ridiculous attitude here. Not a nice place to go for a drink.

11/08/2026: I came in Apache and ordered a wrap, the first wrap I ordered from the young worker was excellent and I ordered a second which another man made, the wrap was dissapointing and looked disgusting.

07/08/2026: If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I’ve given Apache Longford more chances than I can count over the years because my younger brother likes the sides, but this was the final straw. I had no food at home, so I ordered for the family through the app. I requested extra sauce on my pizza because I’ve had pizzas from here before that were so dry they were more like flatbread. I’ve had Apache from Ballymahon and the quality has always been noticeably better, so I thought I’d give Longford one last chance. To make sure my request wasn’t missed, I called the store. The first time, someone answered but nobody spoke while I could hear people talking in the background. Eventually someone came on the phone, but despite speaking clearly, I was told they couldn’t hear me. They said they’d hang up and call me back. A minute or two later they called back, and as soon as I answered, the call was disconnected. I rang again myself. After another round of confusing questions, I was asked what my order was. I explained it, only to be told they couldn’t find it and asked when I’d placed it. By this point they’d probably already started making the food, and I found myself repeating the same information over and over. Eventually they found the order, I explained for a third time that I just wanted extra sauce, and I was told the message would be passed on. The food arrived, and after all that, there was barely any extra sauce on the pizza. It looked like maybe a teaspoon had been added. The frustrating part wasn’t even the pizza, it was that I’d gone through all of that just to make one simple request, only for it to be ignored. I called again. I explained that I was the person who had rung about 15 minutes earlier regarding the extra sauce. The first thing I was asked was, “Would you like to order?” I explained that no, this was about the order I’d just received. Then I was asked if the food was cold. Again, no. I explained the entire situation from the beginning, only to be asked the same questions again. I genuinely felt like I wasn’t being listened to. Eventually I was told, “Yeah, you ordered the double sauce,” and it was insisted that it had been done, while I was literally looking at the pizza in front of me that clearly didn’t reflect that. At that point I realised the conversation wasn’t going anywhere, thanked them, and the call ended. This review isn’t because of one pizza. It’s because of years of poor experiences. I’ve tried giving this place chance after chance, spacing out my visits in the hope things would improve, but they never have. The food quality has declined, the customer service is consistently poor, and the attitude from most of the staff has been disappointing. The only exception has been one lovely lady who has always been polite and helpful. I’ve even witnessed friends having similar experiences. One friend ordered delivery through Just Eat, paid in full through the app, and when the driver arrived they were told the delivery price had increased and refused to hand over the food unless they paid the extra amount at the door. Experiences like these are why I’ve finally decided to leave this review. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, and I’ve genuinely tried to support this place over the years. But after at least five separate bad experiences, enough is enough. I won’t be back, and unfortunately I can’t recommend Apache Longford to anyone.

29/07/2026: Ordered a takeaway tonight. There was hardly any meat on the ribs. The salt and chilli chicken had far too much chilli powder. The noodles smelt bad. Its was chuncks of very overcooked noodles. The chicken balls were so greasy and mostly just batter. I've ordered from Mr. Wu plenty of times but this takeaway was definitely the last time.

05/05/2026: I ordered BBQ ribs ,4 in it , hardly any meat on any of them ,at least sometimes you might get two big ones and two small,defo not worth 8 euro,and asked for extra BBQ sauce on and they put less in than they normally would,won't be ordering again

20/08/2026: Was expecting authentic Chinese cuisine. But sadly it wasn't. Food was good anyway.

21/05/2026: Pizza is good for the price. They charge you extra if you're eating pizza from there. Strange! The service is not great also. One time they send me a wrong pizza order. They asked me to drive back to make it right when complained. But they kept the old opened pizza box for themselves and gave me the new one. No proper apology. I'd have given both the boxes for the troubles atleast, if i was the manager.

19/09/2026: Not great fish and chips were covered in oil. Fish batter was awful

16/08/2026: Legit just had the best burger in my life! It was a chicken filet burger with such a decent piece of excellent real meat in it. The regular burger joints don't hold a candle to this. They can learn a thing or two from this. Thanks, guys :)
