The best restaurants

09/09/2024: Toilets were an absolute disgrace, I have seen ones in better condition in nightclubs at 3am. Completely flooded toilet paper everywhere, bins overflowing weren't cleaned id say in weeks. Another review said the same 3 months ago! Would strongly question how clean the kitchen is if that's the pride they take in the bathrooms. The Restaurant is like something out of kitchen nightmares flooring is peeling off the ground my foot sank into a floorboard going to the toilet. Couldn't have spent a euro on the place in years. Prices are very expensive for the state of the place, McDonald's genuinely looks better. However the food was very nice and service was good.

06/09/2024: We visited this restaurant later on a Sunday evening and were quickly greeted, sat, and ordered. The food was fresh and tasty. The portions are fairly large as well. The butter Naan was super fluffy and great for dipping in our sauces! Two of our friends ordered the Mango Lassi and enjoyed that as well.

01/05/2025: Manager was very extremely rude towards customers , I paid extra for sesh lamb kebab got chicken was very disappointed and the pizza was under done. The service was ok until came to speaking to manager with blonde hair very very rude and extremely unprofessional.

24/04/2025: Delivery driver gave me part of my order and came back to my house roaring at me as I called and said part of my order was missing

25/06/2025: Had a lovely vegetarian omelette. Super tasty with a slice of sourdough toast & a few salad leaves on the side. Will definitely be back. Excellent friendly service too.

14/06/2025: Food is ok flavour wise. Skinny chips are nice Meat portions are a joke. No cold cola cans. Floor and tables were filthy. Guy who took my order was super nice, but the girls looked like they were done for the day. If the shop is open till 4 I expect things on the menu to be available, not skimping on things when you got an hour to close.

11/04/2025: I regrettably spent 30 minutes (waiting)on an unproductive endeavor. The chicken was excessively cooked and excessively greasy; the oil appeared to be rancid, possibly even outdated. Regarding the family meal—the specific selection escapes me—the team reported a missing side of fries. I would not recommend dining at this establishment, particularly given the presence of uncleared tables. The online comments indicate that the establishment is Halal-certified, a fact that was previously unknown to me; consequently, I will not be returning.

01/03/2025: Used to be a regular long time ago but stopped for a while due to declining standards Decided to give it another try today after some months Helpful and friendly service from the cashier staff kelly Improved service, hygiene. Seats and tables now much cleaner, although could be improved is at the standard of typical fast food restaurants Food also much improved- less dry, more juicy meat with better frying. Quality is not bad. good prices 10 euros for 6 piece chicken My friend got a 18 wings as depicted Good job on the comeback and keep it up!

08/06/2025: I had the shredded chicken and unfortunately it was way too salty – it really overpowered the dish and just wasn’t enjoyable. That said, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely, so it wasn’t a complete letdown. Overall, 3 stars.

12/06/2025: I ordered a garlic bread pizza here after trying 3 other places first. All I wanted was a plain garlic bread on pizza dough. The lady said yes when I asked. I didn't request, nor was I asked if I wanted cheese. The staff were very disinterested and sour faced in general, but they did say that they did a plain garlic bread pizza. When I got home (20km away) and opened the box it was a garlic bread pizza with cheese. I was really annoyed when I realised this because the garlic pizza was for my daughter to celebrate her last intercert exam. I asked her what she would like and she said I'd love some garlic bread pizza. But she doesn't eat cheese. Treat ruined! I don't recommend this restaurant. The staff are simply not interested and paid no attention to what I had asked. As if it didn't matter whether there is cheese on the pizza or not, when clearly it does. Poor service. 😕

16/04/2025: Found the staff I met to have little to no interest, my order was wrong and when corrected I was met by an attitude, this used to be one of my favorite stops however I doubt that I'll return again.

16/06/2025: Was in this restaurant tonight for dinner and it couldn’t be faulted, 8 adults and 2 kids food was first class and not expensive at all.. Wasn’t busy but it’s a Monday evening and a day after Father’s Day. Real nice woman serving us and couldn’t do enough for us 10/10 for me.

31/05/2025: I have to give the service 1 star due to the lazy attempt at a chow mein I've ever seen. The food is incredibly bland minus flavor didn't think that was possible. It has significantly changed, used to be beautiful food here, the quality now is abysmal. Will not be back.

04/05/2025: Tried to eat there last night and it was PACKED! Had my dinner there tonight so…upon entering I was accommodated at a table that was reserved; yes I was informed it was reserve for 2 hrs later. Fair as I was alone so it wasn’t an issue. The staff were exceptional! So kind and considerate. My meal came SO fast & thank goodness for that because I was starving. My salad was fresh and tasty! Nice chunks of avocado too. My chicken supreme was SO SO GOOD! I normally don’t eat cauliflower so I gave it a taste tonight and ended up eating it. That goes to show on how well prepared everything was right down to the cauliflower. Highly recommend when in Cork!

18/01/2025: Went here today for lunch , Ordered a ham and cheese toasted sandwich for my son ,my wife had a toasted special ,neither came with anything else on the plate . I had 2 sausages 2 bacon ,egg and chips ,a cappuccino and Americano,can of coke zero and an apple juice for son for the sum of 42 euro and can safely say I would rather have spent it in fast food restaurant just down the corridor. Prices are scandalous for average and small portions.

30/05/2025: Just after leaving Supermacs Not sure who cleans the bathroom but they'd want to be checking them I was told toilets at the top of the stairs, which was the mens didn't see a women's Bursting for the loo I took my chances and entered thankfully nobody was there The toilets 3 of them were un-useable, pubes all over the seats , now being a men's bathroom is neither here nor there, the absolute filth was shocking, needless to say I left

20/03/2025: Do not be eating this kind of horrific deli food atrocious turkey and ham is like plastic sausages are cheap mass produced look after your health stay clear

09/07/2025: My friends and I were asked to leave after being there for less then a minute. Very unfriendly staff, Its absolutely disgusting supermacs the place is so run down and the portions are very small and expensive

05/07/2025: *fresh 5oz is such a lie here* Got a 5oz burger meal. The bun was VERY CLEARLY toasted at least an hour earlier and kept wrapped in a sheet in the tray to keep warm. Was so soggy and wet that the top bun was actually dripping. Surley staff could spare 50 seconds to toast a new bun. They had to have noticed how bad it was when making the burger! It was as wet as if it was dunked in a bucket of water. Meat wasnt cooked fresh to order either but was actually edible at least. They were not busy - we were the only 3 people in the place when i ordered. Friends got curry cheese chips which she could only eat half of because only half were cooked. Same with my bag of chips. €12 for mine and i ate the meat only. Absolutly shocking to get such bad food in a well liked and trusted chain like supermacs. Worst supermacs experience ive ever had hands down! And to top it off the staff member who was flat out on their mobile phone behind the tills heard us complain to eachother at the table and turned and walked into the kitchen pronto when we decided we were going to go up and complain. obviously didnt want to get off the phone and do the job they are paid to do. All in all you couldnt pay me to eat here again. If the staff wernt hiding from us we would have asked for a refund.
