The best restaurants

12/10/2024: The price is astonishingly high for mediocre food. €24 for a Chicken chow main & sweet & sour chicken balls with delivery in comparison to a local’ish Dublin based Chinese who charges €16 for the exact same thing. The receptionist was incredibly rude.

21/01/2025: A familiar place where you can have breakfast and lunch. There is also an opportunity to drink good coffee and tea with goodies

02/11/2024: I’ve ordered from here a good few times. The food is always spot on, but the delivery is terrible. I’ve had to ring up the last three times I’ve ordered to see what was going on. Delivery took two hours and by then the food wasn’t as hot as it should have been. I’d recommend the food for collection, but delivery is such a bad experience it would ruin it for anyone. At the end of the day, if they communicated the delays, or even shut down delivery if they’re overwhelmed I don’t think any of it would be a problem.

12/10/2024: Went to a Japanese restaurant , but it’s actually just a bar. Then the waiter says that they DONT have sushi, sashimi or any kind of seafood at all. Very dissatisfied, I ordered ramen that was bland and tasteless. I don’t recommend this place at all.

12/09/2024: Food was good. But didn’t have sushi as advertised, claiming it wasn’t the season. Inside is not japenese looking at all but instead it’s like a regular pub. Big portions of good food. But over priced. Man playing slots in the corner was quite annoying, it was very loud game.

15/01/2025: Myself and my friend went into this cafe on Monday 13th January. I ordered a coffee with a pot of hot water on the side. My friend had tea and a cake. The rudest waitress I've ever encountered brought the order to the table. She brought me a Capachino not a coffee. I don't drink milk so I told her politely as she was passing that she brought me the wrong coffee. She shouted at me at the top of her voice "you ordered a Capachino. I said I ordered a coffee. She then shouted even louder that I ordered a Capachino and snapped it off the table. I showed her the receipt which clearly stated my order. She said that she just registered it as a coffee. She brought me a coffee down and slapped it on the table. I said I don't drink milk and was about to explain that I wouldn't be ordering a Capachino as there is milk in it. She walked off and left me in mid sentence. I'm 67 years of age and in my entire life I've never encountered such ignorance. I do hope the owner sees this report. It looked a beautiful little cafe but with staff like that I wouldn't set my foot inside the door rver again There isn't an option for NO STARS otherwise that's what I would be giving bit

12/01/2025: I had the hot chocolate (the absolute best) and the scone, both of which were delicious. The service was quick and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The cafe itself had plenty of seating available and is a nice little hide out!

08/01/2025: Went there this morning and ordered 15 coffees for the guys in our office. We got at least one of every coffee on the menu. I thought the girl working on her own would be a little flustered with an order that size. But she just laughed and said she had just finished an order for 18 30 minutes earlier. She was absolutely brilliant, chatted and laughed with me while she made them. Got them back to the office and every one of us agreed it was great coffee as usual. I have been going here since it opened a few years ago and always found the coffee to be the best. The triple chocolate muffins are to die for.

07/01/2025: Honestly the coffee is alright. Went in a couple months ago had the worst coffee shop experiences of my life. I went in early morning time probably around 8am, the workers were talking pretty nastily about this poor girl. They were so indulged in their gossip they didn’t even realise I was there for a minute or two. Once I ordered the two immediately started their hate fest again. I was honestly going to walk out without the coffee but was already running late to work. Customer service is so important, I never went back due to how spiteful the two were. I wasn’t going to leave a review until I seen how highly rated it seems to be. Thought people should be aware of this as others seem to have similar experiences.

26/01/2025: First time to visit this place. Arrived in and ordered a spicy chicken burger and chips meal. Was told it would be 10 to 15 mins. Sat down and waited almost half an hour, approached the counter a d the guy asked me what my order.was again. Goes to the back and starts to put it on. Receive the order another 15 mins later. That was a wait of 45 mins. Drive home (nearby)and open the box, there was 6 or 7 chips, burger bun was soggy and burger was a cheap packet one. Would NOT recomend this place to anyone, will never purchase from there again.

07/01/2025: -0/10 absolute muck bought a doner kebab meal and kinder bueno milkshake some how my milkshake came warm was absolutely dirt and the kebab was soggy from all the grease and oil ended up falling into pieces after a few bites and the chips haha oil sticks should be called absolutely scrap delivery driver stood there looking at me after I handed him a €50 note then just hopping into the car and tried not giving me all my change back. First and last ever order I wouldn’t take this dirt for free I wouldn’t feed it to me dogs I wouldn’t insult them like that

02/11/2024: Ordered food for pick up. They forgot chips from 3 of meals ordered. ordered a naan bread and that wasn't there either. Ordered 2 kebabs and found a bit of bone in one. Rang up and told them what happened, they said they would deliver our forgotten food. we then waited an hour and called them as there was no sign of them and they told us that the delivery driver wouldn't drive that far as we live outside of town, after they already saying they would deliver it. Appalling service. i would give it 0 stars if i could

28/08/2024: Only option for "authenthic indian food" rest are kebab shops at a push. Got to give props to the young guy trying his best to work solo between sit in and takeaway as he was flooded. Food dissapointing and greasy,flavourless. Ordered yoghurt and a cheese naan for my son : bearly any cheese on the naan just a sprinkle in the middle and yoghury was gone bad (still paid for it). Saag paneer probably the worst i had to date,brown colour overcooked,no flavours and just traces of paneer. Bhindi bahji was okiesh just smothered in oil a hint of flavours. Dissapointing does not quite cover it.

31/12/2024: A big hotel situated at city centre in Bray, Ireland. Easy to reach and locate. There are bus stops directly opposite the hotel. You don’t even need a taxi to get there. Bus numbers 155, 145, 14A and others from Dublin City centre and nearby towns take you there direct. For your wedding reception, birthday parties, silver or golden jubilee celebrations, Royal hotel is a perfect place for you. The staffs are hard working, dedicated and respectful. Neat, clean, quiet and a comfortable Hotel. Superb and reliable WI-FI Service available for every resident 24/7 and it never glitches and neither does it ever go offline. Your Security is guaranteed. Although, it is not a 5 stars Hotel but you will not be disappointed. Recommended.
