The best restaurants

09/06/2025: I honestly can't believe how bad this place has gotten. Ordered a fish and chips meal. The fish is absolutely scorched, way way overcooked. Service is shocking too, like some other comments there's a lot of conversation going on in the back, not a lot of communication with the customers and it's taking multiple requests to actually finalize the order. Took absolutely ages which is prob why the fish was burnt through.

19/05/2025: Very unfriendly staff with no manners no urjency whatsoever and the place was full large chips were very small the box was half the size of the box I get in my usual Dinos Bishopstown. Chips were over cooked and same with my breast n bun I will not be returning

05/07/2025: Made a late-night trip to this location hoping for a McFlurry and Frappuccino, only to be told they don’t serve these after 10 PM due to machine cleaning. Nowhere on their website is this mentioned, which is misleading and frustrating. Staff casually told us to “come back in the morning” if we wanted to complain—seriously? That’s not customer service, it’s a joke. If you’re going to limit your menu, at least communicate it clearly.

28/06/2025: Every single time…..place the order at the drive thru, and get handed a different order of half an Oder at the window… should be called a McGump meal….. you never know what you gonna get.

30/05/2025: What a apsalute kip of a restaurant customer is always right ..... €10.50 for a spice bike ..... Or should I say spicy chips with 5 pieces of chicken wouldn't mind I order here when really hungry and don't want to drive to tallaght or naas for a real Chinese......

10/05/2025: Amazing drinks, it was a lovely atmosphere. Andrea our waiter was brilliant. The service was great. Beautiful scenery.

20/04/2025: Wasn’t told that they would need our table by a certain time. Waited for desert/coffee menu for 15 mins. Then were told with no prior warning as they delivered the coffees that they would need the table (as in get out) with 5 minutes warning. Incredibly unprofessional & your staff really let you down today. Food was good otherwise.

15/03/2025: Friendly staff. I regularly order a portion of fried noodles and a portion of mixed vegetables. Their vegetables have a better mix (more of different types of veggies) than the other Chinese restaurant in town, (I've ordered the same in the other place too).

17/02/2025: Very nice experience! People taking our orders were extremely kind, relaxed and understood what we wanted, the food tasted great and although portions seemed small I was full after my meal, would definitely visit again!

05/07/2025: EDITING TO ADD: I see your response KFC, not sure exactly how I would be able to get in touch as there is no email address and no way to respond to your comment and also not sure how you'd propose to make this right, when I simply wanted to be able to enjoy my food while it was still hot today without having to hound your staff for my missing food. You say you take this kind of feedback seriously and try to improve, but looking down through the reviews over the past MONTHS today was not an isolated incident 🤷🏼‍♀️ The food was fine although by the time we finally got everything we ordered most of it was cold. Had to go back up to the till after collecting our order as 4 items were missing. Had to tell the 2 staff members 4 times which items were missing AFTER waiting 5 minutes for who I assume was the manager to finish asking the staff questions about sides or dips or something else equally unimportant. Took another 5-10 minutes for our missing items (2 drinks, 2 fries and a side salad) to finally be ready. Overheard other customers complain about the wait time. Mind you the place was almost entirely empty. Tables were not cleared once while we were here. The screens to order food were greasy. Overall not a pleasant experience. I do not expect service with a smile, I do however expect to receive all the items I paid for, preferably the first time round and preferably still hot so I can actually enjoy them.

13/05/2025: Its one of the best kebabs I've ever had. Thank you so much it was delicious 😋 I only ate half cause it was huge and kept the other half for later. I will definitely order again to try everything. Quick delivery and affordable place.

12/05/2025: No stars 🌟💯😡always orderd from there rang at 8.15 orderd my phone, time I come home from kids clubs food should be see there at my door.. Half 9 no food and it was cancelled by them!!!! Rang and asked wer is my food said oh see driver is new abit of rain today is 12 May 2015 tiny bit of rain and he can't drive he texted me 2 times for address I never texted him back, I rang him have screenshot and he didn't answer as I don't have credit to txt him and it's up to the resturant to give him my address... All because the roads are wet he can't drive and cancelled my order.. Never order again and waiting around ages not worte it... Wen u can order from else we're and get ur food 👌

01/06/2025: I ordered a large fries with coke diet and the fries turned out medium and my dad ordered a chicken select meal but they thought he ordered some type of sauce.

23/05/2025: Got an iced latte that had maybe 4 sips in it. Happy meals were ice cold. This place was decent only a few months ago, but this was abysmal. Staff are very friendly and polite though so no complaints there.

05/06/2025: The downside is it's cash only. ATM on-site.

29/05/2025: We went in here with great expectations. But we were disappointed fairly quickly and didn't stay long. They have a sign on the door saying cash only as WiFi is not working for the card machine. Not a big problem. But when we went in we were able to connect to and use the WiFi no problem. If you don't want cards just say it and don't lie. The urinal in the gents toilet was leaking urine from the drain pipe over the floor. Not much of an atmosphere in the place. The antique decor was nice though. The beet wasn't bad.

21/06/2025: The place is great but as we sit here there are 10 tables that are full of dishes and have not been cleared from the previous customer. Not a good look.

12/06/2025: Very bad service, staff no idea how to serve . Customers were all standing waiting, no one any idea ,whose food was which.... Whatever happened to staff bringing food to table . 🙃😔

22/10/2024: The worst Italian meal I’ve ever had in my life! We received our meals 5 minutes apart from one another. The aubergine parmigiana was likely microwaved as it was still cold with just a melted cheese top. The pasta sauce was like a watered down chicken stock and the pizza was worse than a freezer version. With so many nice options in the area such as olivetto, belli dentro and dolce italia, I can’t understand how they’re still open!

05/10/2024: We happened to be in the area a Friday night to our surprised we managed to get a table for 4, the place was empty. Kids ordered carbonara and it tasted like no other carbonara we ever tasted before, no flavored whatsoever and was so dull kids wouldn't even touch it. My husband ordered a sausage ragu pasta and was chewie I was the only that kinda enjoyed my meal, I had the Tiger prawn risotto. The starters were so overpriced for what we got it was ridiculous to see the size of the brushetta. After all the disaster waiter came and took plates without even asking how was the food, maybe she is used to collecting full plates .... as no one will enjoy their food. If you are looking to over spend on crappy food this is your place but if you are like me ...enjoy good Italian food don't go there.
