01/12/2024: I don’t come in often, however I came in yesterday morning to put air in my tires. I didn’t know how to do so but thankfully Josh came out to help. Such a nice lad who had a good laugh with when waiting for the machine to be free. Deli food was great and coffee was nice. Lovely staff and lovely shop!

01/01/2025: My experience with Jennys Kitchen is unfortunately not good especially with the food . I have order a chicken stuffing sandwich is was a tested one .That sandwich was not fresh and very hard to eat .I was made a complaint to the very friendly staff they returned money to me for sandwich ,but over all I will never back there again and I will not recommend that place to anyone for eating...

19/12/2024: Got a Haircut here yesterday, and it was a terrible decision. The guy finished the entire thing in 12 minutes, which doesn't sound like long, but it gave him just enough time to butcher my hair. No care or attention put into it. If you don't have time for a walk-in, that's fine but I'd rather not pay for a trim and come out looking like I got into a fight with a lawnmore.

19/11/2024: Disappointing. Tasty paninis removed - replaced by weird sandwiches. Coffee tasty and usual inflated price.

06/01/2025: We used to really enjoy having a takeaway from Thaido, especially their spice bags and curry sauce. However, for the last number of times we've ordered, our delivery has taken far longer than expected (resulting in lukewarm or cold food) while the quality of both the spice bags and curry sauce has declined. As another reviewer has mentioned, the spice bags have noticeably been lacking in veg which is fair enough if you order it with no veg, but we haven't. And as for the curry sauce... A 'curry broth' would be more fitting. It's been incredibly watery the past few times we've ordered, no where near as thick as it should be. We've decided to give up on Thaido and order from a different takeaway in Ashbourne, there's plenty of choice elsewhere.

19/12/2024: food so-so. Burgers and sauce galore. Fries not cooked, cold food and delivery over 25 minutes later. It's a waste of money, I don't recommend it. Never again

16/10/2024: Would give zero stars if I coild. I’ve been a regular customer here, supporting this small business until now. The manager / owner is nearly always sat down at one of the tables, playing cards on his phone while his staff are working hard in the kitchen. Today I ordered a takeaway, and on collection, I decided to sit inside instead. Throughout the entire time, tony stood behind the curtains, glaring at me with his arms folded. When I got up to leave, he followed me outside and, in an arrogant manner, told me I couldn’t sit inside with a takeaway or bring in my own drink—despite the fact that I was originally going to take my food away, and I hadn’t even consumed it there, only opened it and sipped it a few times before leaving. To make matters worse, he insultingly compared me to a child who doesn’t know any better. This kind of arrogance and lack of respect for loyal customers is unacceptable. I can’t imagine how he treats his own staff. Absolutely ridiculous.

26/11/2024: Lovely to deal with , but holy jasus the food is disgusting, got a battered sausage and the thing was cremated was giving to the black bin , gotten it 3 or 4 time and won't be coming back 🤢🤢 burgers have stale buns dryer then the Sahara dessert . Over all bad grub .

27/08/2024: Chipper was clean and food prompt, chips were extremely crispy, bit too much for my liking, priced at €4:20 for a bag, usually priced at €4 but elsewhere

10/09/2024: Got a late night 3 in 1 and salt n chilli chicken balls as nowhere else was open. Didn't have massive expectations but my god it was tops! Really good chicken balls that tasted like chicken. 3 in 1 was decent too with fresh chips, which is rare! Really good shop!

14/07/2024: The cashier order taker was impolite and quite rude at best. He did not offer me a receipt and handed my food as though it was a burden to him. There were no napkins or utensils to eat this takeaway food. I watched him laugh and discuss the game with male customers and talk to me as though I were not an important part of the business. It was an unwelcoming atmosphere to say the least. I am visiting Ireland for the 1st time and with that type of treatment, I would not recommend this take away to anyone. Customer care and service are essential to any good place of business. I am disappointed in my experience. I will sample the food with my fingers in order to give an honest opinion. The food was scorched. I smelled it when I opened the bag. It had potential for flavor had it not been overcooked with dry hard rice.

08/11/2024: Got a 9-inch box today. Go ahead for it if you want to die from salt overdose. Could not be bothered going back. I just chucked it in the bin.

13/12/2024: €9.50 for a ham and cheese croissant and a flat white. The croissant wasn’t even heated properly. Avoid if you can I guess

12/12/2024: Coffee was good. Sandwich was soggy. Cake was like a rock. Very difficult to bite. 2nd muffin was dry and the filling was non existent. Server had very poor English. Confusion reigned

04/10/2024: Great little gem we found 6 weeks ago. Have eaten here 5 times now and have not got a bad bit of food from it yet eating several different dishes. It really is a must try

09/12/2024: Three of us were out for a celebratory lunch at Monks. We had the prawns and chowder to start. The prawns were cooked to perfection and were quite flavoursome. The chowder contained plenty of fresh fish and was seasoned correctly. For our main, we ordered the seafood platter and it was just exquisite. Everything was so fresh and cooked perfectly. We noticed how warm and cosy the restaurant was.....even the rest rooms were warm. There was a lovely stove fire burning which made us forget the fact that storm Darragh was looming.....The accommodation looks really nice also, and we are even making plans to return for an overnight stay with our canine buddies! I highly recommend Monks, a beautiful experience awaits! Annie, Co. Galway

08/12/2024: Monk's delivers expertly on two levels. First, they are a fantastic restaurant, featuring some of the best seafood you will find anywhere. Second, they have that cozy feel of an authentic Irish pub. The restaurant is light and airy, with several open spaces in which to dine. We enjoyed great customer service as well. Monk's is a true winner!
