The best restaurants

23/01/2026: Ordered online and never received my order. When I called them after waiting 2 hours twice they told me they already delivered it. Midway while explaining that I have not received my order they then hung up on me (Network issue? Or just hung up I dont know). I'll have to request a refund via customer support. EDIT: I have received my refund. Customer Support was very helpful at resolving the issue.

17/01/2026: Tyrelstown Pizza Hut-Avoid! Shocker of a place. Completely disorganised and mismanaged. Order a pizza online, for collection, go in twenty minutes later and you are made stand around another 25 minutes while they start making it! Girl making pizza also comes to the counter to get the orders and handle money! Delivery drivers hang around inside helping the staff by handling food and throwing it into the baskets to cook! Dominoes around the corner opened and will probably drive this place out before the FSA do.

20/07/2025: Absolutely filthy. 2 staff on just sitting aeound woth tables covered in crumbs. Only one toilet and it was very untidy. Tissue on floor and obviously hadnt been cleaned in a while. Was not busy so no excuse

17/02/2026: Dude at the counter made a mistake when ordering (which in hindsight was very reasonable I was a little confusing) but fixed it so fast and generously I just had to leave a review Curry Katsu fries was also the bomb. Very rich, steam pouring off it which U when it's 2°C

01/02/2026: Order never arrived from JustEat.Went down 3 times to the hotel Ormonde rception and waited 10 mins each time. Ordered at 11:18pm.Called at 12:15pm.and they said that the order eould be 5 mins.No order had arrived by 12:45am.Contacted JustEat on numerous occasions and refused to offer a refund.

24/02/2026: Please Please please do NOT order from this place they are a disgrace so ignorant and the food is disgusting so mean wit the sause on the pizza there serving bread with cheese on it and calling it a pizza, no hair nets on staff outside smoking and straight back into the kitchen without washing if you don't want to be robbed of your money do not order from this place please.

03/02/2026: Stay clear of this place,awful food,takes over an hour to arrive,pizza half cooked,short items that was paid for,when ring them they see they didn’t have the item in stock but still take your money on just eat,joke of a place,very rude on the phone also I wouldn’t even give 1 star if I had the the choice!

21/10/2025: Daughter mis-ordered on the digital order system (didn't realise) and when our food was ready we needed to change something - staff were kind, understanding and we were given a replacement within a couple of minutes. Great service.

24/08/2025: No other way to describe this place other than a complete disaster. People waiting over 10 minutes for coffee. So many people waiting that other people arriving think they are joining the queue but they are only joining a waiting area for coffee. Orders are shouted out but there's so many people waiting, often for the same thing that nobody knows which order is theirs so 4 people hear "Cappuchino" and all make a move at the same time. The staff dont care so it's just a free for all. The pastries are average and do not make up for this fiasco.

24/08/2025: I waited nearly 20 mins for a €4 Cappuccino which was basically a cup of hot milk.I do not like very strong coffee but this had no caffeine in it at all it was horrible.3 staff but only one Barista making the coffee.very few of the customers were buying food so one member of staff had very little to do so why would he not help out with the coffees as the Que waiting was big and customers getting frustrated yet just one (slow) girl making the coffee.Wont be back

07/12/2025: Partner and daughter waited 80 minutes for food to arrive luke warm at best Saturday evening. 2 year old daughter only ate noodles and started vomiting not even 3 hours after. Believe she has food poisoning because she was absolutely grand before the food. Never ordering again. Black listed in my house

28/01/2026: Got a Fresh Cod, Chips and Battered Sausage last Friday and have to say I wouldn't give it to a Dog, battered sausage was burnt to a Crisp, Fish was Stale, steer clear of this Chipper, utter muck.

21/01/2026: This place doesn’t even deserve 1star. Don’t waste your money on their food and also for delivery be prepared to wait over an hour and get frozen food. Waste of money.

14/02/2026: Prices up like all MC Donald's, staff gets worse every few years, pay is nothing special, causes insane traffic in Ashbourne, the service is always unprepared for the busy hours.

09/02/2026: Dined here on a Saturday. Place was filthy. Litter on floor. Tables had trays with half eaten food left from previous customers. Bins were overflowing. It was not busy so i do not understand hoe no one cant clean the place

04/03/2026: I've ordered from this place a few times and each time there is an item missing or the wrong toppings. I always place order instructions and they are ignored each time, things missing and when I call, no one picks up.

20/12/2025: They list some dishes for €10 or €13 if you want it as a side or main. I wanted to try 2 so I asked if I could get two 1/2 mains for €13 and the guy said yes, but when I came back to pay he said it would be €20 and wouldn’t change it. Only €7 so I paid without saying anything else but won’t come back. Poppadoms 2 vegetarian sides Naan Fanta €27.

24/04/2025: Got chips and a battered sausage on the way home from work. Have to say they are the worst chips I've ever had. Absolutely burnt and tastes like they were reheated.they were also not fresh chips definitely frozen one. Also the battered sausage was not much better. Batter was not crispy at all. Again like it was reheated in the microwave. Would not recommend this place
