The best restaurants

18/08/2025: Ordered a takeaway which came extremely quick (within 15 minutes). Ordered a spice box for €8 which contained about 15 chips and 5 small pieces of chicken, wouldn’t have fed a 5 year old. Got a portion of chicken fried rice that was covered in some weird brown sauce that ruined the whole dish, would never ordered from here again, awful value for money

27/04/2025: I had a lovely dinner here, food was delicious, big portions, decent price, nice ambiance, super nice staff. Very much recommended, must try in Mullingar.❤️❤️❤️

21/07/2025: I’ve given Mandarin House multiple chances, but unfortunately, it’s been a consistently disappointing experience. I’ve had my order messed up on at least three separate occasions, and each time I’ve tried to raise the issue, I’ve been met with poor customer service. There’s never any accountability—just the same response that “there’s nothing they can do about it.” Not even a simple apology. To be fair, the food itself is actually quite good. But for me, the quality just doesn’t make up for the hassle of dealing with repeated mistakes and unhelpful service. Sadly, I won’t be ordering from them again.

27/06/2025: Absolutely heavenly once you know what you like. All these bad reviews have only tired one thing but once you have a few dishes you like this place is easy, delicious and reliable. The food is ready super fast and the staff are really nice people. The fried rice, spice bag, sides of rice, noodles and curry sauce are some of my favourite foods. I recently climbed Ben Nevis and could not wait to get home and have a familiar comforting meal. Truly a place I know I can always reliable on and hold close to my heart.

01/08/2025: I was absolutely shocked by how bad the service was. I ordered Chinese food and was told it would arrive within 45 minutes, but it ended up taking over 3 hours to get to my house. By the time it finally arrived, the food was stone cold and completely dry—like it had been sitting out for hours. The noodles were stuck together, the chicken was tough, and everything tasted stale. There was no apology from the driver or the restaurant, and when I called to complain, they didn’t seem to care at all. This was honestly the worst takeaway experience I’ve ever had, and I won’t be ordering from them again.

10/08/2025: The place is absolutely dirty and run-down, and there are no restrooms. The girl serving the sandwiches was efficient, but not friendly. The food selection is very limited. It's a shame for this company; they do better elsewhere. Look around and eat anywhere else; you won't find anything worse.

12/08/2025: Ordered for the first time tonight. Food on my lap within 15 mins, don’t know how they did it! Grub was tasty a/f and was so hot we’d to wait a few mins for it to cool down. Would recommend 👍

25/07/2025: Mi hijo tiene enfermedad celíaca, así que tenemos mucho cuidado con evitar el gluten. Pedimos en este restaurante dos veces y seleccionamos sus opciones sin gluten en ambas ocasiones. Desafortunadamente, mi hijo se enfermó mucho después de comer en ambas ocasiones. Después del primer pedido, me puse en contacto con el restaurante y me dijeron que como otros platos en el pedido no eran gluten - libre, cruzado - puede haber ocurrido contaminación. Eso fue preocupante, pero les dimos otra oportunidad, esta vez pidiendo solo gluten, artículos gratis. Lamentablemente, mi hijo todavía se enfermó. Volví a contactar con el restaurante después del segundo incidente, pero no pude obtener una explicación clara de lo que salió mal. Basado en nuestra experiencia, no creo que este restaurante pueda acomodar de forma segura a aquellos con enfermedad celíaca. Estoy compartiendo esto para advertir a otros y espero que el restaurante tome medidas para mejorar su manejo de alimentos y la capacitación del personal.

06/07/2025: The last two times I have gotten a takeaway and on both occasions it was horrible especially the rice you could tell it 2as in the box for quite some time never use them again

08/08/2025: No brown sugar. Coffee ok but overpriced. Don't care for the shop. Grab a poor coffee and go.

06/08/2025: When I came in here to pick up my granddaughters communion cake I thanked the man at the till. He then stated that I shouldn't be so fast to assume someone's gender. I was surprised to hear this from a middle aged Irish man. When I said I'd like to speak to someone in charge as I paid a lot for the cake and deserve respect. He then did a twirl and said yeah that would be me 👍🏻 He then stated he was the best accountant wearing tights in the West of Ireland.

11/08/2025: Yet again another poorly managed Starbucks. Wanted to order a strawberry Frappuccino. However they don’t have a strawberry. Maybe a new manager would be beneficial here

17/08/2025: Catching a flight to Màlaga, needed food because we would be landing late, lovely simple menu but has everything you need, Fairly reasonably priced, wait time between 15 to 25 minutes, lovely food, you scan a QR and order online so no confusion, would definitely recommend
