10/05/2024: Wow. Absolutely unbelievable food holy smokes. Pizza was 10/10 and sides were 10/10 which is unusual for a pizza place. The goujons and wings in particular were sublime

15/04/2024: I ordered yesterday mead plan for €16 from Just Eat, got chips and pizza and a can . Pizza was burned, couldn’t eat 4 slices because of burn taste and the pineapple in pizza was frozen I think didn’t taste good. 👎

31/12/2024: I bought a cake from the Phibsborough shop on Saturday, the 21st, and was assured by the staff that it would stay fresh until the next day. But when I opened the box on Sunday, the strawberries were moldy, and the cake tasted awful. We had to throw the whole thing away—it was completely inedible. I contacted customer service, and on December 30th, they told me they couldn’t refund me because I had thrown the cake out (as if I was supposed to keep a moldy cake in my house for over a week!). They offered me a free replacement cake instead, but after such a terrible experience, there’s no way I’d want another cake from them. In short, they sell moldy cakes, and even when you show detailed photos, they refuse to refund you. I wouldn’t recommend Thunders to anyone. There’s a Tesco right next door that sells fresh cakes for half the price—and they’re actually good!

09/01/2025: Hi I just ordered a takeaway of fish and chips for myself and my colleagues and I have to say I will not be ordering there again the chips were all reheated the fish was burnt I cannot believe that they had this food delivered like this if I could put up a photo of it I would and you would realise what I am talking about this is terrible how they can dish out this kind of food

21/12/2024: Food missing from order and chicken that did arrive was cold. They sent out the missing food and that was nice and hot !!! So they can deliver hot food when they want to. Second driver blamed the first driver. Never again.

16/01/2025: Staff absolutely would rather be somewhere else. Almost 11euro for 3 small sausage rolls and a drink. The sausage rolls were dry, hard and barely warm. Tables and floor-filthy.

19/12/2024: Excellent soup and brown bread, I got a free eclair also. Excellent customer service from Ann, Maura, and the other servers.

13/10/2024: Docked in here on a Sunday midday for breakfast/brunch. Place was well full but it's Sunday after all. Got a table down the back, fair enough. Good varied menu in there but first thing that hits are the prices. This is an expensive spot. Full Irish breakfast is € 16:50 ! Can I keep the plate ? An hour later I was in Knock Airport and the full Irish was cheaper up there ! And we all know airport prices. Ordered an uneventful scrambled egg and bacon which was slowly consumed waiting for my cappuccino that finally arrived from an under pressure young waitress. It came with toast. Hooray. Asked for marmalade. They were all out. Interesting...... I'll know for again......

16/04/2025: Vaya, esto es terrible. Muy mal pescado y patatas fritas. Sin condimento alguno. Muy, muy aceitoso. Chips no lo suficientemente cocidos, casi crudos. Ni idea de lo que llaman los famosos fish and chips. Sabe como los aceites tiene 10 años y nunca se ha cambiado. ¡Es lo peor que he tenido!

28/03/2025: Courez....loin de ce restaurant : rien n'est sympa, ni la bouffe, ni la déco ( table et sol collants), ni le manager, et à peine les autres employés. Nous aurions dû regarder les avis avant de nous y risquer...a fortiori si vous êtes français car le manager cocorico n'aime guère ses compatriotes( c'est son droit ) mais de là à être désagréable, de moquer notre strong french accent sans même nous laisser nous exprimer en anglais...

11/02/2025: Not a good experience. stayed here last year for the Wicklow 200, but forgot to review..couldn't turn off shower after using it and hot water coming from both taps..twin room was very small and really in need of updating..

23/02/2025: I may aswel threw my money in the bin. Waited 1 and a half hours. Food was freezing wet and mushy. Disgusting never ever again!!!

23/02/2025: Ive ordered from here since it opened never a problem tonight i got a spice bag full of pink chicken ovisly not cooked.very dangerous to serve under cooked chicken. I tried to find an email to contact summer in directly but can't find it online.

19/04/2025: Was there today with my grandson. Standing waiting for my food and there was a lady standing near the tills writing on a notepad. It started to get busy so she rolled up her sleeves and start making big macs. No hand washing no gloves 🤢🤮 none of the staff had gloves

06/04/2025: We ordered the 9 nugget minecraft meal and a chicken share box. Paid for an extra large chip for the share box, that we didn’t even receive. I also thought we would get a toy with the minecraft meal but we didn’t get it? Our drinks weren’t fully filled either. I understand that they were right before closing, but we also waited 20 minutes for our food. We’ve been through a long day as well. I’m pretty disappointed about it.

01/04/2025: Tried to order some food,the leady didn't even tried to tell me what meal i can have in chicken burgers i see it later on screen outside parking. Woman cleaning her ears while making me food,no gloves,no washing hands, disgusting.

11/01/2025: I think the quality of the food here has suffered since their change to just takeaway service only. Food quality is just OK. Ordered the Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka Masala. A very small amount of thinly sliced chicken in the Jalfrezi, which was very dry and overcooked, as a likely consequence of this. The Sauce tasted nice but the dish was not very substantial…I was still hungry when I had finished it. With the rice as an extra cost to the dish, the small Amount of chicken and small portion, it’s very poor value for the price. I understand the concept of quality over quantity, but if you’re still hungry after you’ve eaten it, well what’s the point in that. I won’t be rushing back there unfortunately…such a pity as the standard was better when it was operating as a restaurant.
