16/03/2026: Food was okay. Ordered meal deal with 4 dips that only came a quarter/ half full. Ridiculous

14/01/2026: Ordered one large xxl pizza with no extra topping on it so wouldn't take longer to cook also a vegetarian large pizza, when it came to collection I decided to check the pizza before I went and low and behold it was under done and gooey and wet all over. I told himself and he laughed and then put it back in, laughing as if I was being awkward. Obviously does not care at all about what he chucks out of the oven. So while waiting for that to cook longer my other pizza is now going cold. When trying to put it back in the box the male fella came over from handling money and decided to start putting his bare hands on my pizza. And this is after him passing two bottles of sanitising. I informed him of this and he just showed me the two bottles he never touched and proceeded to ignore me and just answer the phone. Ridiculous. (Update) 3 years on from this review and decided to try them again. It's even worse. Ignorant costumer care and gooey undercooked pizza. When you complain they just get smart with you

31/12/2025: ★☆☆☆☆ Disappointing All Round Went to [Restaurant Name] in Limerick last Friday evening and left thoroughly underwhelmed. • Food: We ordered butter chicken which was watery and tasted like it had come straight from a jar – no depth of flavour at all. The garlic naan was burnt on the bottom and doughy in the middle, and the rice was sticky and clumpy as if it had been sitting out for ages. 27/02/2026: Time wasters! Posted as closing at 21:00, arrived 20:34 and told by staff that is closed. When I asked, are you not closing at 21:00? I was told I am leaving at 9pm, my manager is not paying me after 9pm. What a joke!

02/02/2026: Visited this Subway in Rathmines and ordered a tuna mayo with egg, and I had a really nice experience overall. Food: The sandwich was freshly made and well put together. The tuna mayo was generous and creamy, the egg added extra richness, and the vegetables (lettuce, peppers, etc.) were fresh and crisp. I went for wholemeal bread, which was soft and held everything together nicely without falling apart. It was filling, comforting, and exactly what I was in the mood for. Staff & Service: The staff were very kind, friendly, and patient, which honestly made the visit even better. They took care preparing the sandwich and were pleasant throughout — the sort of service that makes you feel welcome rather than rushed. Atmosphere & Cleanliness: The place felt warm and comfortable, especially on a cool day. The shop was clean and tidy, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to sit and enjoy the food rather than grabbing it and leaving immediately. Location: Great central location in Rathmines, easy to pop into while out and about, and very convenient overall. 28/06/2025: Popped in today craving an almond croissant—it’s usually nice, and all your pastries/food are brilliant. You walk in, see all those fresh, baked goodies on display… but instead, I got handed some older croissant from the back counter, where you can’t see what’s there ... When I got home, it just wasn’t as fresh as I expected. if you’ve got pastries that are still good but maybe not fresh enough to sell at full price, why not sign up with Too Good To Go? Many cafés in Galway are already doing it—it helps avoid waste and gives customers a fair deal instead of charging full price for something a day or two old....

16/11/2025: Yesterday I visited this place with my partner and ordered oat milk coffees. While waiting, I noticed the barista using cow’s milk instead of oat milk. When I asked politely if cow’s milk had been used, both staff members became defensive and insisted it was oat milk. My partner tasted his coffee and also confirmed it wasn’t oat milk. He asked for new coffees to be made, and the second time the barista used a different milk jug (the correct oat milk one). Unfortunately, the interaction escalated because the staff continued to deny the initial mistake. This is concerning, as many people have allergies or intolerances to cow’s milk, and accurate milk handling and labeling is extremely important for customer safety. I hope the management addresses this to avoid similar situations in the future

01/10/2025: I ordered a cup of cappuccino to drink inside, I received it in a paper cup and the coffee wasn't tasty. The atmosphere was very unpleasant, the tables and floors were dirty.

16/10/2025: Very poor service, rude young lady at the cashier, errors in my order and my coffee tasted burnt..

13/03/2026: Gave warm cans of coke small tray of shredded chicken for 8 euro there was only seven pieces of chicken

13/02/2026: I ordered a spice bag but it was about 90% chips. The chicken pieces were mostly coating with very little actual meat, and they were dry and chewy. I’m really disappointed with the quality.

23/11/2025: Used to always come in here for years but the last year it’s declined every time we ring they don’t answer then you go into them to order and you see them not answering the phone on purpose and they do that even when they arnt that busy. Tonight we were told 20 mins for a main dish and a spice bag , fair. But we then waited in the reception for 45 mins only to get fed up ask the receptionist and to no suprise checks the kitchen and all this time the bag was just waiting. Food is now lukewarm. Won’t bother coming back now not worth the wait

23/11/2025: Went in to order food because they weren’t answering there phone was told 20 minutes for a spice bag and a main dish with rice, ended up taking just over 45 minutes to get my food after I asked the young lad behind the counter how long more would it before it magically appears ready so god only knows how long it was sitting inside ready. Got home to eat it then and the “spice bag” had no seasoning what so ever not even a shake of salt and was pure dry and the curry sauce was tasteless and the main dish was no better after going there for years I won’t be going back I always gave them the benefit of the doubt for waiting for food because it used to be good but no more may aswell been eating paper !!! Had to throw away the main dish asked for no veg in it as the person eating it is allergic to onions and found onions in it while playing it up !!!!

09/11/2025: They're nice but I think I don't like Subway. Just don't ask for sauce AND all of the vegetables or you'll end up with a shit sandwich like me. But the staff is kind

07/09/2025: Not great service booked for 8 people showed up ordered food and then came back few minutes later saying didn't have enough staff for the kitchen

15/02/2026: We came here on a Sunday afternoon around 3.30pm, it was busy at this time as there was two matches on just down the road so we acknowledged we would be waiting, however one older male staff member decided to disappear into the back and left the other young lad deal with the que on his own. We could hear the just eat machine going off so presumably he went back to make the order leaving my friend waiting even longer. There was no meatballs or chicken tikka when he went to order so he went to burger king instead. As we were eating a woman came in to collect her food she had ordered from JustEat and it hadn't even been started never mind ready. so clearly the older gentlemen couldn't be arsed to help his coworker and was skiving off in the back.To top it all off the lettuce was limp and rotten. This is not the first occasion that we've experienced similar at this subway and definitely will not be back.

06/02/2026: My fiancée went into this place yesterday, and the complete and utter disgust I experienced is out of this world, extremely rude service, staff thought we were poor. Therefore refused to give a side of sauce (which usually they give without having to pay), until we paid the extra cost of the sauce. The food was horrible, poorly made and the service was disgusting. I have not ever heard or seen of anybody rolling their eyes and sighing so much, let alone, over a tiny bit of sauce and a small bit of tomato. I’m honestly so pissed off at these people. Please review cctv from 05/02/2026, approximately 1:00-1:30pm, and I expect to have at least one of those staff members gone. I refuse to ever dine here, and will make sure to never ever recommend. Do. Not. Go.

25/01/2026: Pizza takeaway apparently "doesn't have pizza". Also failed to fulfil the legal requirement to serve free tap water as mandated by EU legislation.

21/01/2026: Ordered a pizza, drove 5 minutes out of the town and it was stone cold and also the next to no cheese was on it, the bare minimum. My girlfriend also ordered a donner chip at the same time and the quality of the chips were terrible

12/10/2025: Avoid this place, I ordered a mixed kebab meal and I got a wrap with no meat when I rang up to complain the person hung up the phone, this place doesn't even deserve 1 star!!

01/10/2025: Terrible experience we asked for huggies and the chips came separate and it was 1 portion of chips at 4 huggies before we paid we asked for 4 huggies seen it was too expensive then we asked for 2 and he didnt want to give us only two and made a big fuss out of it then when we did end up trying to pay we paied 20€ cash and asked for the other €18 card he tried to charge us €28 terrible experience and the food wasnt worth it

11/12/2025: food had to be microwaved when it arrived because it was cold ( i live 5 mins away) ordered spicebag, house chow mein, and kids meal, complete waste of €47,curry sauce was busted over everything spice bag had 5 scauldy pieces of chicken everything was cold,bland and and pure oily, normally wouldn’t give a review but thanh cong is gone to the dogs
