The best restaurants

04/07/2025: We always order pizza with vegan cheese for collection, today we called there and the manager lied saying she works there over 3 years and they never had vegan cheese, liers! I've ordered it many times!! And then she changed the history saying they changed the policy and can't sell vegan cheese by phone, but the app doesn't give vegan cheese option, you can only order it calling there!! They are rude, and liers! Dominos just lost a customer!!

07/06/2025: It is good and fast, the food is always amazing and for some reason, it's never busy, really good food I like the people working there 100% going again. Kebabs are great pizzas are lovely ( that's my opinion) and the sauce is chefs kiss

24/03/2025: Went a few weeks ago and ordered a spice bag and it was the most disappointing food i have ever received it lacked bag and spice . Chips were soggy and i say undercooked . Lacked flavour over all. Insanely disappointing 20€ for the 2 spice bags aswell so was fairly pricey . Would never go again

28/03/2025: I am a long time customer of golden grain and I have to say it’s lovely every single time. The curry sauce is the best I’ve had and the egg fried rice is just beautiful and lovely flavor of sesame oil. This is my go to place on the weekends. Recently I placed an order and had an item missing but the staff were very kind and sorted the situation immediately and professionally. Particularly the lady who dropped off the food and who I believe works out front aswell was very nice and apologetic. Thanks you all so much and looking forward to another takeaway soon ❤️

10/07/2025: Was looking forward to trying this place for lunch so invited a colleague, we were left standing at the counter for 15 minutes before the girl even took our order. I asked for the roasted vegetable toastie and was told that they didn't have any. It was on the menu so I asked "can't you make one?" And was met with a shrug of sher shoulders. I then asked what was in the sourdough rolls on display at the counter, she answered "ham and cheese" I asked, "what type of of cheese?" since the menu had varying sandwiches with pecorino or scammorza etc. And I wondered if the ham she referred to was cooked ham or prosciutto crudo. She replied, "Oh, I wouldn't know that" I gave up and asked for one of those, i then asked if I could get some tomato on it, she said, "they are all pre-made". I asked, "well, do you not have any ingredients here? No tomatoes? Couldn't you chop one up and add some?" Which, to me, did not seem an unreasonable request, In an "Italian" place, tomatoes being the cornerstone of Italian cuisine. She shrugged again. So I paid for my coffee and sandwich and asked for a glass of water. She said, "sit down and I'll drop everything down to you. Another 10 minutes passed and she brought our food to our table. Cooked ham and still not sure about the cheese. No glass of water! I went back to the counter and asked for two glasses of water, (one for my colleague) she handed me one, I said "sorry, I asked for two glasses" and was met with a sigh. Then she proceeded to argue with another customer because they didn't take their table number to their table, before getting the second glass. Anyone can have a bad day but she clearly wasn't very good at her job and didn't want to be there. Maybe I should lower my expectations, but was quite disappointing. The most Italian things about this place were the imported Italian pasta products displayed on the shelves. You'll find more variety and staff knowledge of the offerings (and get a warmer welcome) at a deli counter in any convenience store chain.

10/05/2025: Coffee served in paper cups instead of mugs.even though we ordered on the site.

30/06/2025: The best part is the atmosphere, best coffee spot from the others in Blanch. Coffee was ok, limited bakery items

22/04/2025: Two lovely friendly cafe assistants 1 male and 1 female they were so friendly and helpful when we went there on sunday. The male assistant was asking me about my arm being strapped up (post surgery) and seemed genuinely pleased when i said it will be ok now.

07/07/2025: Location wise this is a great hotel. But that's pretty much it. We are on vacation here to Dublin and I cannot stress enough to other tourists, don't stay here. There is no air conditioning, regardless of what's on their website. So during summer we had to leave our window open all night and ended up listening to drunks walking and loud cars. Not on my to do list. Second issue is their parking, an employee at the front desk needs to actually see you to open the gate. I spent more time at the gate waiting than in the hotel. There are no actual tv channels, and the bed slides if you sit up. Basically this is a cheap hotel, without the price, for pub crawling or other night activities, not for tourists.

01/07/2025: Room 122 is right above the entrance to Winter Gardens(?) apartments and their door kept being banged shut like a beer barrel falling into a cellar. The electricity supply failed twice so I had no lighting - apparently a dodgy fitting where the key card is entered. I had no television for the first two days because the aerial cord axial was broken. Overall, this was a pretty poor service for the prices we paid - over 1000 euros for 4 nights.

01/07/2025: €4.75 for a "flat white" from a machine is simply not on. The most expensive coffee I've ever had and it was awful. Plenty of lovely cafes in Kilkenny, go somewhere else.

26/06/2025: Popped in just as they were closing, and while they said it was no problem to get a coffee, I was really disappointed. I paid €4.75 for a flat white, but since the machine upstairs was being cleaned, it was made downstairs. When I tasted it, it was clearly not made by a barista it tasted like it came from a push button machine: weak, flat, and honestly not enjoyable. For that price, I expected a proper, fresh coffee made by a barista, not something that tasted worse than what you'd get at a petrol station. They shouldn't be charging €4.75 for a coffee that isn’t made properly. Definitely wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

23/06/2025: Ignorance from the staff when I asked for fresh chips because they served me cold food . The worst food ever I got in a motorway service station and no choice for anything else to eat . This place falls well below the standards of any other I've being in Dump
