The best restaurants

13/07/2025: Sadly to say the rooms were not up to spec especially paying for the prices you pay in Dublin. I was only spending one night however not really much to get out of considering there was a bar in reception a very well set up bar however not in use. I know they had a bar downstairs which was lively!!!!! And no breakfast included? For the price you pay it's not the staffs fault it's the owners faults do everything on the cheap. I couldn't understand why the bar In the reception was not in use I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who has bad knees and I know I'm going on about the reception bar it's because I brought my dad with me who's 83 and we really wanted a quite one unfortunately it did not happen. The room well it was poor the radiator was on in the hottest day of Dublin! The window could not close the toilet kept making a noise along with the basin tap the shower either to hot or to cold the water doesn't run threw the flow downspouts. So in all fairness I wasn't satisfied especially the price you pay

24/05/2025: Awful experience - music playing underneath your bed until 3am, street-sweepers out at 6am. Zero sleep. Zero investment in soundproof windows. Toilet was minuscule - literally could not fit to sit down on the toilet. And all for the pleasure of €180!!!!

24/07/2025: Ordered pizza afew times now and haven't been too satisfied, each time I've asked for thin base it's just been regular base which is not good with my stomach as it's too heavy, asked for pepperoni and bacon just came with bacon no pepperoni, I rang and asked them to please pop some garlic and herb sauces into the bag as it gives u a dip option with garlic bread, lad said yeah no problem...but still never got any, not even a free dip with the medium size pizzas anymore.(not sure about large size).. I even added a little note to my order asking for afew dips and still never got any...I paid 33euro for 2 med pizza and 2 sides should of included a dip wasn't paying 0.65cent per dip after it costing me that much for the order, i think they should go back to including them as I for one will stick with dominos for it's thin and crispy base and free dips with each pizza 🍕

03/09/2025: Absolutely worst mcdonalds in Ireland,possibly Europe. Apart from 2 of them all the workers had no interest in giving a good service. I'm not asking for them to be the best but at least do your job like every other mcdonalds in the world. It's completely impossible to go there as a disabled person because 1/2 the time the door doesn't open automatically and when my disabled friend used table service they didn't bring it down and made her get up with her crutches and get it. And there are no tablets but they tablets holder are there.

26/08/2025: Food is cold and they sent us the wrong stuff. We ordered chilli cheese bites and they sent us a box with 1 chilli cheese bite, chicken selects, nuggets and spicey nuggets. Chips are cold and soggy. No straw, salt or ketchup. Drink is flat. Phone number doesn’t work either to ring them and ask for the right food

09/07/2025: Went there today. The guys were nice and friendly. The food was ready fast. I got chips and drink and garlic mayo. 10 euro. I wouldn't mind paying that but the chip were like the were sitting there for hours and cook in oil that hadn't been changed in a month. Wouldn't recommend

27/05/2025: Lots of choice, generous portions, but way too salty, we had to throw some away, which is a shame.

15/06/2025: Went to cocktail bar upstairs and there was one other table of people, took about 20 mins to get a drink. Seemed to be only one person able to make drinks

07/04/2025: The staff are fantastic but I have to say the dj on a Sunday is shocking he's that bad he just presses play on the laptop its a set play list I counted 7 people including myself asking for a song because it's all his music which is emptying the place on a Sunday asking for a song only to be told no I have a play list can't play that the place goes from lively to dead because the dj is lazy and drinking doesn't want to bother ends when he feels like and from a regular customer who put alot of money behind the bar either a group of 8 friends will no longer becoming in because it's not a good night out anymore atmosphere is dead because the dj is so bad they need to change the dj plenty of people are talking about it the staff are fantastic door staff and bar staff but dj on Sunday is ruining the entertainment for people

01/07/2025: I genuinely love this place the food is so tasty and it’s amazing and lovely and I can’t believe ppl write such negative reviews the workers are so kind and generous and the exterior of the restaurant pace is gorgeous and look at those daffodils aren’t they gorgeous!!

04/04/2025: This is a really bad spot if ur hungry we waited for about 40 minutes food was cold by the time we got to eat it with not much curry in the pot overall not good staff was laughing when I said we waited so long

29/05/2025: We went in here with great expectations. But we were disappointed fairly quickly and didn't stay long. They have a sign on the door saying cash only as WiFi is not working for the card machine. Not a big problem. But when we went in we were able to connect to and use the WiFi no problem. If you don't want cards just say it and don't lie. The urinal in the gents toilet was leaking urine from the drain pipe over the floor. Not much of an atmosphere in the place. The antique decor was nice though. The beet wasn't bad.

31/08/2025: Italian here, we got the lunch deal with a veggie pizza (9.9€). Honestly, the dough was really good and the price was fair for being in Dublin. It tasted different from a pizza in Italy but we expected it due to the toppings! The place was chill and clean, staff was polite. Very nice experience overall.

29/08/2025: Ordered Pizza this week with extras and nothing was delivered and added to my order. No feedback or any word from their side.

18/07/2025: The dearest cappuccino so far. Was here a few years ago and decided to return . 2 pastries , one americano ,and one cappuccino cost almost 16 euro . This is surely ripoff Ireland at its best . The place is old fashioned , staff are young and not particularly friendly. I would expect better customer service , training would be an advantage. Its a shame as its in a prime location.

09/06/2025: Supposed to open until 6.00 pm, I arrived at 4.30 pm, looking for a coffee and a snack. The two dour youngsters behind the counter told me I could not have one of the sausage rolls on view, and could only have a coffee in a takeaway cup, as they were closing at 5.00 pm. I won't be back.
