The best restaurants

11/10/2025: Asked for a mocha with soy milk and watched the barista put regular milk into it, before denying that he did so. Plus, service was rude and place was dirty.

01/10/2025: THE WORST PLACE IN DUBLIN! First of all, they delete all the bad comments you put on them. As for the site, the workers are very rude, especially the blonde manager and the teenagers who work, they laugh at you and do nothing to understand you apart from being racist! They try to scam the tourist so BE VERY CAREFUL! In addition to the quality of the food, it leaves a lot to be desired, they keep the food trays for two days, health should go to check the hygienic measures. IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

21/08/2025: €12.50 for a toasted han & cheese €3.95 for an Americano Not worth the money.

09/08/2025: 6.30 for a vegan sausage roll is insane. Safe to say I left and didn’t pay it.

27/11/2025: Ordered the food an hour ago sitting here starving Like thick after been told Be with me in 20 minutes, tried ringing them about 5 times bad form .

06/11/2025: Ordered a spice and satay sauce, chicken looked like it had been deep fried whole and then just chopped up, not proper shredded chicken at all, chips were bland with little seasoning and the satay sauce tasted like fairy liquid. Would not recommend at all UPDATE: Both of us got food poisoning the same night after we had it so definitely a NO GO

18/05/2025: Great food and reasonable prices. Sweet and sour chicken and the side orders like the Spice or Munchies Boxes are great. Lovely people too who own and run it, so very friendly.

27/10/2025: Incredibly disappointed by what is, quite frankly, fraudulent advertising. Ordered a large chilli fries (5e) but was stunned when it was half a bag and the 6.50e child's meal (including 3 sausages, 3 nuggets, chips and a can) had MORE chips than their apparent large chilli chips. Called as we in our naively assumed they'd given us the wrong size in error and were told they only had one size! More than happy to overcharge via their app and not to offer to refund the difference when questioned. Whilst in one order its not a significant difference, I can only imagine they're doing this to multiple products. It's incredibly disappointing as it feels really unethical, if you only offer one size/option, have one price, don't charge more and refuse to make it right when you've been called out. I'd always prefer to support local but this isn't a great experience from somewhere I'd visit regularly.

12/10/2025: I ordered chips and a beef burger and the chips were good warm but the beef burger was nasty it had a really harsh taste and the beef burger was way way to big I couldn't eat it and had to cut it In peaces

12/11/2025: Walking in to an empty building was the 1st sign some thing was a miss. 1st stop in through a door. Elephant and Castle had to leave there and go in a different door. No greeting no hello just a moody teenager with zero interest in working or asking if she could help. After sitting in an empty pub for 10 mins I asked could I order. I was told to go to the far end of the bar and order. I did this and returned to my seat. After 15 mins I enquired as to time frame for food. To be told did I not hear them calling my number??? I was the other end of the pub in a different room with music playing. Food was ok, seasoned chips are over kill not pleasant. Considered asking for a refund, but the head on the one behind the bar, I decided to leave it. Not worth a pit stop.

27/10/2025: Our burgers were mushy from oil… I’m after waking up there from a bad stomach, vomitting Judging from the last lot of reviews, you should really improve the standards of the food here, if all you are receiving is complaints and upset stomachs… Disappointing

29/11/2025: Waiting over 2hours for delivery. No customer service to call paying customers with an ETA. I would have cancelled and ordered from somewhere else. I may do in future as this is an absolute disaster. Shame as it’s the 1 we always order from.

19/11/2025: Update: This used to be a very good restaurant/takeaway but it has recently changed hands and the quality and service has taken a major nosedive. Sadly we've also found them to be dishonest on a few occasions.

16/10/2025: Placed an order here and was called by the restaurant 20 minutes after placing my order telling me the delivery charge was an extra 5 euro on top of the 4 euro I’d paid on Just Eat. When I said I wasn’t paying it, they cancelled my order. It’s not worth it, avoid!

12/10/2025: Stumbled on this place in our travels, BEST Indian food. Before writing this review I read some very negative reviews, all for delivery (something going on there). I can only suggest, for people who love Indian food, to dine AT this restaurant as we did. We sat downatairs. Owner was pleasant throughout, patient and friendly, attentive. Garlic Naan was delicious and HUGE - one order would have been enough for two people. Side of Raita amazing, chunks of cool cucumber, amazing spices. Delicious trio of sauces/chutneys. Main courses we went with classics, not dissapointed: Chicken Tika Masala & Saag Paneer. Not typical, BETTER! Cost very reasonable.

18/10/2025: The service was a little slow but I reckon it might be due in part to the server not being able to understand my accent.However despite the slight delay, the manager in particular was extremely hospitable and professional by looking beyond my humble pass on her kind offer of a drink and enouraging me again. This time I got a lovely milkshake. As I was going away, she made sure to Wave at me and thank me with her lovely smile which she mustve been born with as I rarely see her not smilimg if ever. She is an asset to the place and I would also like to add that this woman and her team do not exactly have the easiest clientele to deal with.

30/09/2025: A very nice,polite and friendly staff ,after pandemic period this team is the best (a boy and a girl )and the coffee was exactly for my taste ,I take with my hubby double espresso ☕️☕️well done 👏💪

17/09/2025: I waited 15 minutes for the most expencive and worst kebap of my life

15/09/2025: The sandwich I ordered was incredibly oily and in poor condition. I was concerned from the start when I saw the food being prepared behind a door. Unfortunately, the quality was as bad as I feared, and the excess oil gave me a stomachache. I suggest following a proper recipe and being more transparent about food preparation.

21/09/2025: I was really disappointed with the food and service here. I ordered wedges with my pizza and while waiting one of the team members was touching individual chips with his fingers and then put them back to serve to someone else. I then watched him do this with my wedges. Picking wedges with his uncovered hands and placing them in my box. These went straight in the bin. This is not the level of service I expect from Apache.

15/10/2025: Located inside Hotel Strand, The River Restaurant and Bar has probably the best selection of breakfast items. It is open for lunch, tea and dinner as well. A variety of hot and cold breakfast items comprise of scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, potatoes, tomatoes, baked beans, sausages, bacon, fresh yogurt, cut fruits, flavored yogurt, fresh fruit such as oranges, apples and bananas, two types of smoothies, porridge, variety of toppings, dry cereals, milk, variety of breads, pancakes, waffles, croissants, muffins and fresh fruit juices. It has a coffee machine with variety of coffee drinks you can pour on your own as well as hot tea selections that you can make a pot of. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Food tastes very good. A great way to start your day with a scrumptious breakfast!!!

28/08/2025: I couldn't find a server. I kept having to get up and track them down to order and then deliver food.

12/05/2025: Permanently closed, don't order from here. Sea Salt is a new restaurant.

16/04/2025: Card has been charged for online delivery. Its been over 2 and a half hours. My calls keep being declined. No way of contacting them. How can I be refunded?
