The best restaurants

11/02/2026: We booked a meal for eight of us on Jan 17th 2026 after the miss siagon show in Bord Gais. Firstly they hadn't got our booking but accommodated us after a little wait. The first notable thing was the really poor service. It was very obvious from the start that they had a lot of new waiting staff that were very poorly trained. All the staff that served us had little understanding of English and we had to repeat ourselves several times to make sure they got the correct orders. Two of our party were coeliacs and we had to explain this and wait until they checked with a manager every time we asked about it. Eventually they brought a supervisor over who was able to explain what was gluten free. To be honest we felt so sorry for the young staff that seemed out of their debt. Eventually when the food arrived, it was all right but just all right. For such a well known hotel the food was very average and disappointing, plain and very low standard. I would not recommend this to anyone unless overall standards improved.

24/12/2025: It says open today but its a big fat lie. They are closed the entire christmas. False advertising this.

07/03/2026: Just paid 50euro for a delivery and the food we got was absolutely shockingly bad the spice bag chicken can’t be chewed or swallowed it actually is so over cooked it feels like it’s not even food the 4in1 was clearly made days ago and frozen all chips in both spice bags had not one bit of flavour never mind spice chips are completely burnt and just crumbling I am so shocked and disappointed for that kind of money

09/11/2025: The sent me out the wrong food which I have been looking forward to all week.. I asked for chicken chow mein they sent me some dry tiny pieces of chicken no sauce the starter of the skewers in a bag not a tray badly packed so disappointed only thing was good about it all was the driver was very nice

22/10/2025: Absolutely disgusting the first time I got food here I had to bin I rang and explained so they gave me free 3in1 which they purposely covered in pepper and put hair in it who ever eats out of here is just looking for food poisoning it's dreadful should b shut down

17/05/2025: Just back from having my car cleaned here. Have to spend another half hour myself cleaning it as it wasn’t done right, with dirty marks left all over. Worst car wash in the surrounding area. Won’t be returning ! And for the pleasure of handing over €14 for it, which is also one of the more expensive ones around. They need to be trained how to clean cars …

29/04/2025: Was there a few times when the manager was there and the manager screamed at his employee saying get out of his shop and fill up someone’s car with petrol/diesel I was shocked and haven’t gone back since would not recommend going to this garage

06/02/2026: I ordered a product last week, on Thursday. As the company is based only a couple of counties away, I reasonably expected delivery within a day or two. When it didn’t arrive on Friday, I assumed it would come on Monday. It didn’t. Nor did it arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday … and here we are on Friday with still no sign of it. I rang to query the delay and was then told the product was actually out of stock and had to be shipped from the UK. This was never made clear at the time of ordering. Had I known it was coming from the UK, I would have ordered elsewhere … or simply used Amazon and had it delivered quicker. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and it raises a genuine question about whether stock is actually being held at all, or whether orders are effectively being fulfilled after the fact. Anyone can drop-ship … that’s not what customers expect when ordering from an Irish supplier. When I suggested that the website should clearly state when an item is out of stock, I was told it had been “flagged with IT.” Unfortunately, that’s of absolutely no use when you’ve ordered something you genuinely needed and were led to believe it was available. I am all for supporting Irish businesses … I make a point of doing so … but this kind of service makes it very difficult. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and excessive delivery times mean this will be the last time I order from here. I would strongly advise others not to assume next-day or even same-week delivery, regardless of what the website suggests.

22/11/2025: Very poor. I've had food in other Subways and assumed the quality would be similar. Unfortunately it isn't. Soggy bread in the sandwiches with wilted soggy lettuce, undercooked cold other food. Actually inedible.

31/07/2025: Fair play, they did food for near zero in pandemic for 2 years, they survived. They changed model. Yes they do food for refugees, it's a great great success story for the noggin. Begrudging these hard working people is ridiculous. They Employ a lot of people and do lots for local charities and teams.

28/09/2025: The most disgusting place I have ever stayed. We opened up the drawer beside the bed to find green mould. There was stains all over the carpets and walls. The shower door nearly fell down on top of me. However we did get great entertainment out of reading the reviews and owners responses.

15/11/2025: I've never had food as horrible as this in my entire life literally. I ordered some chips, a quarter pounder and a battered sausage. The battered sausage and the quarter pounder had to be at least three days old and tasted like leather,It was very overpriced anyway, I wouldn't have minded paying if the food was at least half decent. By God stay away and walk 50 metres down to you're left to the Roma Café. It's just trash given to people.. It felt like I was robbed. Never again am I coming back. Edit. Tried this place again from just eat I got a phone call to say food was being delivered waited over an hour the delivery driver wouldn't answer and the restaurant wouldn't answer either if that's what you wanna call it,I had food previously and it was fine but I will never order again from there it's cheap enough for a reason the food is either cold, absolutely horrendous,or you just don't get it .....I definitely don't recommend this place spend an extra 5 quid for edible food and guaranteed that you'll get it,such a shame,and the delivery driver wouldn't even answer his phone I sent a message telling him to eat the food himself as it was way too late for me. The restaurant doesn't care less about it's customers not about food quality.

23/10/2025: If you looking for a place of diner on a go. With quite a selection and food that hits the spot. This is a great place to choose.

17/12/2025: The car wash is a rip off, paid at the self service and nothing happened, manager assured us we will get refunded but we didnt. I did not have time to chase after the 14€ but surely never going to use it again. Also most expensive fuel in Ireland.
