The best restaurants

15/01/2025: Myself and my friend went into this cafe on Monday 13th January. I ordered a coffee with a pot of hot water on the side. My friend had tea and a cake. The rudest waitress I've ever encountered brought the order to the table. She brought me a Capachino not a coffee. I don't drink milk so I told her politely as she was passing that she brought me the wrong coffee. She shouted at me at the top of her voice "you ordered a Capachino. I said I ordered a coffee. She then shouted even louder that I ordered a Capachino and snapped it off the table. I showed her the receipt which clearly stated my order. She said that she just registered it as a coffee. She brought me a coffee down and slapped it on the table. I said I don't drink milk and was about to explain that I wouldn't be ordering a Capachino as there is milk in it. She walked off and left me in mid sentence. I'm 67 years of age and in my entire life I've never encountered such ignorance. I do hope the owner sees this report. It looked a beautiful little cafe but with staff like that I wouldn't set my foot inside the door rver again There isn't an option for NO STARS otherwise that's what I would be giving bit

12/01/2025: I had the hot chocolate (the absolute best) and the scone, both of which were delicious. The service was quick and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The cafe itself had plenty of seating available and is a nice little hide out!

15/02/2025: Great authentic Chinese food. Very tasty and fresh on a busy Saturday night. Will definitely be back

10/01/2025: I stopped in to get some chicken cheese rolls on my way home and they were still frozen in the middle on all three of them. I nearly got sick.

12/01/2025: Ignorant staff.. friends nannys funeral was booked and paid for upstairs, yet the room was freezing. No heating on while the temperature was -1 outside and inside. Not a good experience. Asked not to sing also hours after selling us alcohol all day at a funeral. Disgraceful reactions.

10/01/2025: No heating on upstairs after a funeral - 2 outside 9/1/2025 everybody sitting in coats rapped up freezing said it to the barman his answer do I look as doe I care if it were upto me I would off pulled everybody over to the shamrock and this was for a person that drank there most of there life Shame on this kip Refund and apologise to Susan You know who she is Rip Josie

01/04/2025: I got food there today oh my god never again would I go near this place the food I got was pure dirt as we got chicken breast box chicken wasn't done that day it was like something was left there a few says how someone to serve that to someone it's not on chip we're not nice either disgraceful food this place is gone down hill big time never again

20/03/2025: Its shockingly bad now, and has declined over the years, to think this used to be Cunningham's, The chips are absolutely disgraceful, no other word to describe them, literally like eating sticks. Wrong orders galore, some of the items not being delivered even after paying, what are they playing at? I do not recommend in the slightest, you will also be paying crazy money for what you get too.

03/04/2025: Absolutely disgusting food and customer service. I ordered a kebab and there was a maggot in the lettuce. Called the shop and the lady told me that it was nothing got to do with her and that it didn’t come from their shop. Absolutely disgusting

11/03/2025: I am disappointed by Darius' showing. The kebab was mediocre, with way too much lettuce and not enough sauce, ordered a calzone and they just gave me a pizza, the burger was also nothing to write home about but it was the best thing I got. However, the biggest offender was that chips did not come standard with my order, never in my life have I seen a chipper charge you extra for chips, but maybe that's just me (chips weren't even good, way too soggy). Overall I expected better from the renowned Darius.

30/10/2024: Food was fantastic but I hated we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food.. €58.40 not even free bottle of coke no apology for the delay and the driver gets the blame. Never seen a place miserable with even a decent offer

01/04/2025: Got food delivered to us last night at our hotel as our hotel didn’t have a good variety. Needless to say worst experience I’ve had. The chicken in my spice bag tasted weird, like it had been re-freezed. My boyfriend ordered sweet and sour chicken and while he didn’t complain about the flavour at the time we both felt awful this morning. Some big toilet troubles really was just the cherry on top of this mediocre (if I’m being nice) takeaway.

14/02/2025: Awful! Food was disgusting. I never leave reviews but I was so annoyed with how disgusting our meal was that I felt the need to warn others!!! Chicken chow mein not only looked and smelt vile it tastes disgusted. The smell turned me off My very simple meal which was 3in1 and fried noodles - I know, yoi might think it's not hard to get chips, rice and curry wrong but hey they was awful! Save your money and disappointment!

04/08/2024: FYI this place is closed. They took my booking and deposit and never informed me they were closing. It was for my sister's hens. Thank god for the hairy lemon across the road fitting all 12 of us in!

28/03/2025: The dirtiest McDonald's restaurant I have ever seen. All tables are full of food leftovers, bags, cups.....you name it. The floor is also littered with rubbish. No one cleans, unbelievable. We took the food to our hotel, 5 minutes away. The fries were just ice cold....

25/03/2025: Waited 10 minutes for 6 cheeseburgers.. everything dirty and didn't get a bill

09/04/2025: The young girl who served me seemed completely uninterested in her job, honestly, I’ve had more engaging interactions with a brick wall. I probably should’ve left the moment I saw someone fast asleep on one of their couches. It’s a shame, really, because the coffee is actually quite good. But with so many great cafés around, I won’t be rushing back.

30/03/2025: Extremely expensive! €9.60 Euro for one chai and One americano! 😱 crazy!! I didn’t realised how much I paid until I was at home!

05/04/2025: The food was so bad and had absolutely no taste at all !! When the food arrived it was cold , the food was very poor quality and the glass cups had lipstick on them , the employees yelled at us for telling them about it , they over charged us and didn’t let us say anything, the whole restaurant smelled bad , the people and menu wasn’t clear , I ordered a burger with salad and loads of stuff inside and I just got bread with a tiny paddy not even sauce , it wasn’t even a burger bun it was a bla , the service was a disgrace and I will not be commenting back !!!😡😡

17/03/2025: Changing my review from 2 years ago, the warmer photos are from then, look at the food now. Expired avocado and chorizo was rock hard. Expensive resteraunt but usually was value for money. Not any more, wont be returning. Macdonalds is better.

10/01/2025: I love this place ! I always get my Chinese from here. They do great crispy wontons. I think their price is very reasonable & the new lady on the phone is lovely. Food usually takes less than 15 mins.

30/03/2025: We went for Mother's Day lunch. The waiter and waitresses serving our table were so helpful and friendly. However the menu was very limited, not one chicken / white meat dish on it. No allergies highlighted on the menus. The kids chicken bites were nuggets! Some of the starters came out luke warm and the chocolate fudge looked liked something taken from a freezer and heated. Just before leaving some other waitresses accross from us were having a discussion over tips left on another table. I would not go back for food. Very disappointing.

20/02/2025: My wife and I went in for a light lunch. We ordered two toasted sandwiches - one ham and cheese with white bread, one ham and cheese with brown bread and a tea and a coffee. The drinks were served reasonably quickly but it was over half an hour before the sandwiches came. By this time the tea and coffee were stone cold. The sandwiches were made with “plastic” cheese. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. However the potato crisps were nice.

18/11/2024: Esta fue la peor experiencia gastronómica que he experimentado, tal vez nunca. Espantoso. Estábamos allí como rumbo a Hamilton. Pedimos bebidas y pedimos juntos. Dijimos que no queríamos tener menú pre-teatro ya que estábamos apretados por el tiempo, así que pedimos filetes del menú a la carta. Esperamos 20 minutos para una bebida, y recordamos al personal de espera dos veces para la orden de bebidas. Mientras tanto, parecía haber un problema con nosotros pidiendo filetes, ya que abiertamente, los gerentes nos estaban señalando como caminando. Parece que pensaron que estábamos reservados bajo un paquete de estancia, pero este no fue el caso. Finalmente, después de hacernos sentir bastante incómodos con el señalamiento y hablar sobre nosotros, se acercaron a nosotros y confirmamos que no estábamos reservados bajo ningún paquete. Después de 40 minutos llegaron nuestros filetes, salsa equivocada en el mío, y honestamente los peores filetes que he visto. Sólo podía comer la mitad. No tuvimos tiempo de enviarlos de vuelta o conseguir algo más, ya que teníamos un show y ya habíamos estado esperando 45 minutos. Galling desde el restaurante para luego cobrarnos 85€ por la experiencia. ¡NO TE VAYAS!

05/11/2024: I stop by for a drink after a loooong day. Prab was so friendly and had a great sense of humor. He made me a customized drink to comfort my hardworking day. Love it.
