The best restaurants

09/06/2026: Not the best food to be honest. The unit itself is ok. Have to update this review with a picture of the worst coffees ive ever been handed. Machine from the spar would pour better.

20/05/2026: Banana bread was old, hard and dry. And €3.40 for a simple cup of tea. Outrageous. And the staff couldn’t be bothered to smile once, and seemed grumpy and uninterested in any kind of service at all. Gross banana bread crumbs still on the table this afternoon after my morning visit (4 hours later).

19/08/2026: Order online last night and bought two bag of twisty fries yet when it arrived they gave me normal fries when I called to complain they promised to send out the missing items yet they never did 0/10 don’t order from here

06/07/2026: Stay away from this kip… Ordered the Draco meal for delivery and the driver arrived and first thing out of his mouth was “your house is too far”. I live 7 minutes from the restaurant… I brought the food inside only to realize they have given me the wrong order.. they replaced the garlic bread and cookies I was meant to get and gave me CHIPS.. I called the restaurant and told him what happened and he said “oh I take this off menu” I replied saying that they should update their menu at least.. it would have been nice to know in advance.. then I said it’s not good enough to just give me a pizza chips and cans for €14 when I’m supposed to get what I ordered.. following this he ignored everything else I said and hung up the phone on me.. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.. I’m quiet annoyed with this and I would advise people to stay as far away as you can because they don’t deserve customers… furthermore my food was freezing. To whoever is reading reviews to see where they should eat.. do yourself a favor and skip this place…

06/08/2026: Not recommended!! Wherever I go, I always order the "1/2 Pounder," but the one at this place is the smallest. It felt like they just used 2 kid-sized burger patties. The service at the front counter was terrible—provided by young staff with a very poor attitude. Don't waste your money there!!

30/09/2026: Unfortunately the only place with outdoor seating. And unfortunately the least friendly. The opposite of inviting. Served by a guy that could only be described as pointy, at best. Mediocre coffee and cake, with a flake of something in my coffee.

29/09/2026: I went to Jaye Taylor this morning for breakfast with my mum, We had planned to treat ourselves to a lovely breakfast but unfortunately the experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the customer service wasn't great. The girl taking our order at the till came across as quite rude. We ordered Eggs Benedict, French toast (which was advertised as brioche bread with bacon), a coffee and a tea. The total came to around €40 — expensive, but we were happy to pay it. When the food arrived, however, I honestly couldn't believe what I was served. As the waiter handed me my French toast, he said they were "trying a new recipe with the bread" and asked me to let them know what I thought. Interestingly, we'd already heard the exact same explanation being given to another customer nearby. What arrived was nothing like the French toast described on the menu. There was no bacon and no brioche. Instead, the French toast appeared to have been made using what looked like a thin bagel. The egg hadn't properly soaked through the bread at all, leaving the inside completely dry. For €15/€16, this was simply unacceptable. If an advertised ingredient such as brioche or bacon isn't available, customers should be told before they order and pay, and given the choice of ordering something else. Quietly substituting the dish and only explaining afterwards that it's a "new recipe" is not good enough. I brought the plate back to the counter and was immediately refunded. What surprised me even more was that I barely had to explain the problem. There was no apology and no offer to replace the meal or make me something else — I was simply handed my money back. I very rarely feel strongly enough to write a review like this, but the combination of the food, the unexplained substitutions and the customer service was genuinely shocking. Unfortunately, based on our experience this morning, I couldn't recommend it and will never be back!

31/12/2025: I ordered food a hour and a half ago, and nothing! I payed for it and you did not deliver, I strongly suggest that nobody gets anything of them, shame on the person that runs that place. I'll come down tomorrow and get my money back, not nice! I can't give minus because that's what you deserve.

11/09/2026: Used to be a great chipper with previous owners. Got the driest inedibly dry chicken and the most flattened burnt burger I've ever seen in my life. Inedible. Also they were not friendly and were very loud and the smell of burning should have warned me. Just a horrible place now. Never again. Whoever owns it the people working for you will run it into the ground for you with their attitude and lack of basic cooking skills. Disgraceful.

09/04/2026: I had high expectations for Macari in Inchicore, especially since the place itself has a nice ambiance and looks like a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal. The seating area is decent, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant enough for a casual visit. Unfortunately, the food did not match the setting at all. The pizza was very disappointing. It arrived cold and did not seem properly cooked. The base felt underdone, and the overall texture just wasn’t right. The taste was also quite off, and the cheese in particular had an odd flavor that I didn’t enjoy. I had ordered a chicken pizza, but the chicken toppings didn’t seem properly cooked either, which made the experience worse. I also ordered chicken wings, hoping they would be better, but they were equally underwhelming. The flavor was lacking, and they didn’t taste fresh. For a place that looks inviting and comfortable, the food quality really needs improvement. It’s frustrating when the ambiance is good but the main reason for visiting, the food, falls short. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the pizza or wings here unless there are noticeable improvements in quality and consistency.

19/09/2026: I used to come here often, however , I recently had a disappointing experience with the manager named Andrew. Unfortunately, I found his manner quite rude and unwelcoming. He was not friendly towards either the staff or customers, including myself, and I personally experienced poor customer service from him. When I asked him for his name he insisted I report a complaint against him, It was very disappointing, especially as I had previously enjoyed coming here.

15/09/2026: Place has seriously gone down hill since Warren & Denise left, I've already had a couple of bad experiences & I no longer go in as much as I used to, too many mistakes are being made, items being forgotten & bad attitudes from newer staff, service is not great at all.

04/08/2026: Not a long wait to order and pay for the items we picked out. The woman working - Rebeca, was upbeat and friendly. The food on the other hand was nothing special.

30/07/2026: Worst breakfast food I ever had- And I’m not one to usually complain. Cardboard potatoes, greasy mushy bacon(basically only fat), cold bread, one mini egg. Unseasoned. TINY PORTIONS. Like kid size. Don’t recommend at all. Save your money….

05/09/2026: The food was excellent. I always order it at his place. Especially the curry sauce. It's the best I've ever had.

15/08/2026: Well we ordered from here and I was very disappointed the chicken balls were hard I had ordered salt and chili ones and they came with just loads of salt no onions or chilli’s and the chips were hard and the chicken in the Thai curry was like rubber ! I wouldn’t be ordering again from here

21/03/2026: Almost every time we order from Big Bites, something in the order is wrong, for example, if you order a doner kebab just with extra salad and sauces, and you're happy to pay extra for that, even then it's a 50/50 chance if you get what you asked for. The only way to get your order the exact way you asked for, is to speak with the owner. Otherwise it's a chaotic mess and there's constant delays. We live 5 minutes away from the restaurant and it took 2 hours from the time we've ordered plus 2 phone calls to deliver 1 pizza and garlic sauce. We've been regular customers for almost 10 years. This is VERY disappointing.

24/08/2026: We got Chinese from lams last night everything was great until the chicken balls , they weren't cooked correctly sometimes one mightn't be but no the whole bag wasn't if we had eaten them or our kids they would of been severely sick . My partner went back to lams to explain this for him to be questioned and say they weren't pink and then blaming there suppliers and say they have had this complaint before , they had every excuse under the sun all they offered was another portion of chicken balls which is beyond the joke 😡I've never had a complaint about here other than today whatever happened to the customer is always right this place is all about themselfs and just been utterly rude we will never return here again !!

20/08/2026: Was expecting authentic Chinese cuisine. But sadly it wasn't. Food was good anyway.

21/12/2025: We got 2 spice bags and have to say they were terrible! Literally the worst ever. There was virtually no seasoning whatsoever on anything so was basically just chips and the driest most tasteless chicken I've ever had. Was ridiculously chewy we had to throw majority of it away. Got a side of sweet and sour sauce which just tasted like vinegar so threw that away as well. What used to be a good Chinese many years ago its completely fallen off. That was final straw for us we will never be back.

15/06/2026: Had the nan sandwich with chicken, the flavours were so good but there was so much mayo (and I love mayo) that it made me feel nauseous. Also the chips were dipped back in the frier I’d say multiple times and not cooked fresh as they were pretty overcooked and very oily.

13/02/2026: The momo served here for 8 euros are not the authentic one. Just the ajinomoto brand chicken frozen gyozas that we get in asian shops. Not worth the money at all.
