08/08/2025: While on our honeymoon in Ireland, Ireland by Bike suggested we dine at Yellow Pepper. So glad we did, the atmosphere is so cozy, the food was amazing. We had the opportunity to meet the owner Kieran who is a gem! Chris and Kerrilee

05/08/2025: Visited Letteykenny in Ireland for a short break, had seen reviews. Definitely have to book so popular. Lovely options to choose from. Decided to go straight to the main, I had the lamb shank special of the day, The lamb just fell off the bone, buttery mash with good selection of vegetables, some as purée,and a tasteful jus to bring it all together. My husband had the cod with fish pie, a beautiful chunky piece, definitely a hot pie with creamy mash. Both our plates were completely cleaned. I had the meringue with fresh fruit and compote, meringue crispy and chewy just the way it should be. A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Staff were very attentive and polite. Very good value as well. Would definitely recommend The Yellow.Pepper

29/06/2025: No reservation. Welcomed and seated immediately. My husband had the burger and I had the beef and Guinness stew. Both were delicious as was the apple pie dessert that followed. Friendly staff. I would recommend and return!

20/05/2025: This was one of the best hotels on our tour, and we had great ones. The rooms were cozy and elegant. We were treated like royalty and self service laundry facilities were available. I wish we could have stayed a second night.

20/05/2025: It’s a beautiful place! You feel like a princess in that castle. The rooms are very spacious and lovely, and the bathroom floor is warm, so it’s super comfortable to walk around barefoot. The service from all the staff is excellent. And the massage we got at the spa was extraordinary!

24/01/2026: First time eating here, nice staff, decent variety of food to choose from and priced as you would expect for pub grub, can recommend this place, will be nice to sit outside in the summer and watch the river 😀

08/08/2026: Has a lot of promise but need to sort out teething problems. Staff appear to lack basic skills (not providing menu's (had to ask on both visits), weren't asked how food was..., one of team didn't smile or look happy, witnessed a cluster of staff several times chatting & gave impression that they didn't seem to know what they were doing. Menu limited and items on it were a mismatch & wine list - non existent. Food whilst decent, doesn't match price tag.... Likely to try again but expect the next experience to be greatly elevated......

05/08/2026: No prices on menu. Small portions. Charged for water.€1 per person. Soup €6 with bread 1 slice €4 extra. Potato extra with meal €6 staff great decor great. Bill too much for what we had. 😱

02/04/2025: Great neighborhood pub. Food was tasty, staff were friendly and nothing was a problem.

01/04/2025: Sadly, closed its doors for the last time on the 31st of March 2025. Will be demolished from the 13th of April. Hopefully a pub will return to the iconic location in the summer of 2027 🙏
