The best restaurants

19/04/2025: Staff were lovely, very friendly and efficient. Alot of dishes on the menu, but we got the toasties and chips. Toasties were decent, chips were nice and hot. I also got a latte, and the glass had visible coffee stains dried into it. That didn't come off when I rubbed it to check. Also, the womens bathrooms have cameras in them over the mirrors pointing at the stalls, which was a bit disturbing. The toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, visible build-up of dirt on and around the toilet seat, the smells was also disgusting in the toilets. Only one hand dispenser had soap in it, there was toilet paper just left lying around.

08/04/2025: Every now and then you find a place that ticks all the boxes and the Hideout Kilcullen was just that. Made a reservation for two for an anniversary dinner and arrived early, no problem, showen to a nice table by Leigh who was so polite and helpful. We ordered two different dinners and didn't have long to wait, the food was beautifully presented and plenty of it, very tasty. Another member of staff Demi was so bubbley and chatted to us making us feel welcome which added to a wonderful evening. I will definitely return, big thanks to the staff.

19/05/2025: Say they open at 09:00. Arrived and they don’t open until 10:00. When I showed them their website is incorrect they were very rude and shook their head at me with no care in the world

14/04/2025: Worst attention ever. The guy wasn't on his position, he seemed completely bothered by us. The sandwiches weren't stuff enough (he applied five small slices of tomato). He basically gave us bread with a little portion of filling.

25/04/2025: This kebab was class, cheapest nicotine and food around, sabbir was very helpful and kind. The toilets are clean and smooth.

27/04/2025: I ordered Coffee Cake for my husband's birthday and was very disappointed, it was nothing like described, abysmal. The cream filling was hard. The sponge was extremely dry. Did not try any other cakes, but the coffee cake is a big no ❌️

21/06/2025: Food came within 15 mins of ordering which wasn’t a good thing since was clearly taken out of the freezer and microwaved. €35 for 2 4 in 1s and ribs and they weren’t even cooked fresh. Food tastes like the freezer it’s blatantly obvious the freezer burn on the chicken. Super disappointing waste of money

17/06/2025: I ordered chicken shawarma and got a completely different order. When I called to try and explain what happened, the owner on the phone was very rude and hung up in my face. I called again to request a refund for this terrible treatment and bad food, and he hung up in my face again. Definitely do not recommend.

17/06/2025: Food came out five minutes after we ordered ,chicken was so dry it was cooked for a long time and deep fried again and coated in sauce ,so poor ,head waiter needs to learn how to smile and greet guests properly,very poor waiter We had sweet & sour chicken ,baby back ribs ,Chinatown beef & Cantonese duck ,the drinks weren't even on the table when the sweet n sour chicken balls came out and the ribs ,which was poor to be honest all dishes were poor and lacked flavour ,the hina town beef was suppose to have five spice in it ,it was no existent the chicken balls were grey inside & dry which meant they were cooked for ages and re cooked again in fryer & sauced up,Duck was over cooked and dry, I paid up to €80 for food that was very poor & the head waiter didn't help with his attitude like he didn't want to be there at all

28/03/2025: Paid 30 euro for a Large Pizza asked for a half and half they got that wrong I also asked for extra dip which didn't come. When I rang the store they didn't care when I said I'll complain to your Head Office the guy on the phone said he had me on his store camera which is a lie because I never walked into his store, I ordered from here weekly I'll never do that again. The store owner is Raj and he hires only the rudest staff.

18/06/2025: Messed up my girlfriends order, Cappuccino instead of hot chocolate, who orders a coffee from Butlers? She didnt have time to sort it out as she had to go get her plane, one of the few things she misses about Ireland is Butlers Hot chocolate

17/06/2025: Horrible service. 7 employees were staring at the milk, while my sandwich went cold. After 10 minutes I went to check on my sandiwch, and I saw them cut 2 sandwiches in half, throw half of each in the bin, and combine the 2 sandwiches to RETOAST THEM. Very unprofessional and when asked they were very rude. Got a refund but my family and I will never return here. I'd give 0 starts if I could.

02/07/2025: An honest "chippie" - all you expect from a place with such menu. Good salt & vinegar fries, tasty batter, fresh fish. Pure joy of simple food at its finest.

14/06/2025: I was charged far more than what was agreed. The staff was incredibly rude—shouting at me for no reason. Absolutely unacceptable experience. Never again. If it was for me, I would’ve thrown the food through the place, but I am well-mannered. Update: Came back to give the food one star as well. Undercooked fries.

14/06/2025: Honestly the whole experience as a whole sucked. As we are young people we felt that we were treated very differently. We were using a coupon online to get another pizza for a euro and the man who led us to our table had a very dismissive and rude attitude. It took ages to get served and my god did the pizza lack flavour. No sooner than when I had taken my last bite a staff member rushed over to give us the bill and kick us out. Nearly 30 euro and we couldn't even sit down for a while in an empty store. The dough balls were BURNT onto bottom and honestly I couldn't finish them. I will never be going again. Bad service AND bad food what a combo

06/06/2025: Very poor service in this SuperMacs. Ordered food. Only three other couples in store. Waited 20 mins and no food. Went to counter to ask about food, told it would be brought to the table, another 10 minutes before food arrived, when it arrived it was wrong. I should have just got a refund. There'll be no next time. Don't expect much from this place.

09/02/2025: Ordered food for takeaway for a child’s birthday party in Fota Island Adventure. I dealt with Arun and ordered in advance, he was so helpful. The food was hot & ready on arrival, the lads in Supermacs helped me bring it to the car & kids demolished every bite! Thanks Arun

18/02/2025: They let loads of kids in but one of my friends were outside for 5 hours with evidence of his passport and they were very rude to him and never let him in leaving him out in the cold and complained that he was waiting outside for his friends outside
