The best restaurants

04/05/2025: This was our first time having food from this place . We got a delivery and it was the worst food we ever got 😒 cost us 25e for fish and chips and a kebab. My dog 🐕 would of not eaten it . We had to throw it out . Please stay away 🙏 and don't waste your money . Thanks 👍

04/05/2025: The worst kebab I've ever seen in my life , nothing in it and the fish was over done with hard batter, with the smallest bag of chips in the world ......never again , don't go there whatever you do !

08/04/2025: Very nice restaurant with great food. We enjoy very much the Fisherman's Pie and the Ravioli (mistakenly written as tortelini in the menu) with grab and lobster

17/03/2025: We ordered a spice bag, chicken balls, and fried rice. To be honest — everything was absolutely delicious! As locals, we used to order from another Chinese takeaway, but this one is even better. The lady at the counter is lovely and really makes an effort to communicate. Highly recommend.

16/04/2025: I got a fish box meal the minute I bit into the smoked cod it was hard and it smelled gone off like it was lying there for days it was also black In colour i rang and the woman said come back and she will refund me when i went back she questioned me and even laughed she even asked me for the drink back and the sauce so unprofessional of her she lied and said the fish is made daily I am sorry I never took a photo of this but looking back on a comment from last week there was a similar issue with a customers smoked cod so she would want to stop being in denial about her discussing fish

05/04/2025: I got a smoked cod in batter with chips. Tge fish was overcooked and dry also the battery was a little burned and tge chips where average. Won't go here again.

15/06/2025: Discraceful , the fish was burnt dry and miserable , chicken burger was destroyed in mayo , way too much and not nice looking or tasting , 2 meals , 2 kids burgers on there own , milkshake and dip 40e!! Not to mention he said I can only have 1 drink , even tho I bought 2 meals ,he kept saying give me 2€ The meals went into the bin . Wouldn't bother ordering from here ever again . Rude and horrible food

15/06/2025: If you want overpriced tripe this is the place to go horrible food slapped together 40 euro for 2 burgers and fish and ontop of that it's by far the worst in Waterford so if that's what you are after this is Ur place

01/06/2025: Ordered a delivery last night. Still waiting for the 1l drink and the missing sauces. The pizzas were terrible, had brown bits in them that I couldn’t identify and were missing ingredients. I called and was sent to voicemail. I called today and they replied then hung up. All in all, I’ve been robbed and ignored.

08/05/2025: Gorgeous cafe near Leinster House, ordered a latte here and our cashier was lovely, and I even got some latte art!

08/04/2025: This place is good if you want a break from shopping. The Black Forest gateaux is fantastic. Good range of toasties . The cleanliness and service is a bit lacking.

18/05/2025: I have been ordering from pizza dome for the odd takeaway for about 3 years now. I don’t eat take away much but this was my go-to pizza place. They had a fella working on the phone before the guy was very nice and very professional but whoever this new guy working on the phones now is unprofessional, rude and actually stupid. I ordered a pizza recently and I rang in my order and before I could even say my address he hung up the phone, I thought it was weird but didn’t think anything off it because I have ordered from the address I currently live in now a few times. As I was waiting for my pizza I got a phone call off the driver to say he’s outside, I went outside no sign of him and then I rang him, for him to tell me he’s at a different address (nowhere near where I live ) when I rang him he said that I have to pay him and extra 3 euro to drop the pizza to my address when I told him no because the shop made the mistake he said ok but the next time u order u have to pay it. When the pizza finally arrived it was freezing cold, I may aswel of ate a frozen pizza without putting it in the oven at this stage. So i rang the shop to tell them that it was freezing cold and his exact words to me were that “no it is hot” and I said how do u know ur not eating it and he said “it was hot when we dropped it to the first address”. No apology nothing and just hung up the phone. This is not on at all and I will never be ordering from here again stay far far away and go to 4 star or somewhere next when u want a pizza

16/06/2025: We stayed here for 2 nights and thought the hotel was great.On our Ireland trip we stayed at 6 hotels and this hotel definitely had the best bar of them all and the outdoor seating area is fantastic.The rooms were good if a little dated but that didn't spoil the experience at all and found the bed very comfy.we both enjoyed the breakfast here and the staff were also fantastic.i would definitely stop here again

20/04/2025: My husband and I stayed at the West County Hotel last week. Our experience was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their service was great! We had breakfast in the restaurant in the mornings. The food was tasty, with a wide range of choice to pick from. Our room was cozy and warm, with a large, comfortable double bed. Everything was clean and well-kept. In addition to that, the hotel is located 5 minutes away from town. It is local and everything is within reach. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a few days away, to relax and enjoy a holiday!

13/06/2025: The best Chinese takeaway in my opinion perfect levels of spice and flavor. Fast delivery and never forget any items! I won't order from anywhere else :)
