04/09/2025: Loved this place! My wife & I were staying in Carlow. My wife loves Indian food, but finds it difficult to find a really spicy curry. I prefer milder dishes. We ordered a vindaloo & a jalefrezi. The food was superb, the staff were friendly & helpful, & the cost was very affordable. Highly recommended .

13/05/2025: We were appropriately dressed and Had a reservation with a friend… as soon as we arrived the bouncer just looked at us and told us ‘not today’, we tried asking why, and telling him we had a reservation but he didn’t even look our way and said ‘not today’. Walked a few steps ahead and found another man who was Latin American and had a Black friend and they were also refused entry to the same place. It felt so disgusting and discriminatory , but we didn’t let it dampen our mood, we went to another joint and had an amazing time..avoid this place especially if you’re a foreigner.

15/08/2025: Ordered food, got the wrong food so sent it back, then only after two hours i got the right food sent to me. Disgraceful, do not order from here unless u want to die or starvation and reading from other reviews, food poisoning?

09/08/2025: No stars should be shut down! Food poisoning in a container. Steer clear this is the worst food I have tasted the chicken was pinkish and slimey and to be honest I cant even confirm if it’s chicken. The curry sauce was like gelatine absolutely Disgusting and when I called no offer of refund just a “sorry about that” AVOID at all cost!

14/09/2025: Today was my first time visiting this coffee shop. The place looks nice, but I was really disappointed with the service. The young with glasses blonde barista was very rude and had an unfriendly attitude. I ordered an iced matcha, but it was a waste of money and honestly ruined my day.

14/09/2025: Myself and my Mum are here Visiting from the UK, we were a little reluctant to go as we saw the horrible reviews about the staff but decided to go anyways as it was the only place open early on a Sunday. The atmosphere of the store was warm and cozy, heating as it was quite cold and quiet background music, up to Nero standard, the coffees were amazing and we had the choice of the milder coffee which we took! The scone could also be heated for my mum! The young blonde barista was very welcoming and had nice smile on her face, very patient with us as we were deciding what to have, we returned the patience as she was a trainee. Her coworker (glasses and blonde) seemed to be very patient and friendly also, helping the trainee with if she needed and also offered to help an elderly couple with their tray as they couldn't carry it. We sat in for a while and was very nice, we did enjoy it and when I asked for takeaway cups as we needed to go, they had no problem with putting them in takeaway cups for us, would definitely come back if we came back to visit😊

06/05/2025: Over priced ridiculous food that's 99% grease..Have given this place a few orders now and it's always the same.Food is absolutely brutal all the time. Rude ignorant staff especially that older woman.She has actually tutted at me when ordering.Waste of money.DONT GO HERE SAVE THE HASSLE AND STOMACH PAINS

06/04/2025: One of the caseys workers was screaming at my child and his friends to get out of the sitting area even though they had food and drinks bought from caseys, The worker also proceeded to slap one of the girls backs trying to make them get up even tho they’ve said they will leave once they finished and he also hit a chair against one of the boys knees before the boy got up and left. I’m extremely shocked from this rotten behavior from the worker.

28/05/2025: Lovely food and lovely people running the place. They gave us free curry sauce. We got pekora kebab and it was very tasty.

26/03/2025: Were usually not fussy but really awful food...it was a Tuesday night so alot of other takeaways closed. Gor the Indian dishes... horrific oily sauce. Staying at centre parcs. Drove down to collect as had read reviews re. Poor delivery. Also forgot half our order.

This pub’s so stuck in the past, I half expected to be served by a bartender in a powdered wig. Spoiler: the only thing powder in here is the dust on the furniture—and maybe the clientele, who seem to have been regulars since the invention of the pint glass. First off, cash only? In 2025? I didn’t realize I needed to raid my piggy bank or swap a live chicken to get a lukewarm guinness. The sign might as well read, “No card, no service, no hope.” New customers are treated like aliens who crash-landed in their sacred land of the old time. The bartender—singular, because apparently one person is enough to “run” this place—will stare straight through you like you’re a ghost while chatting with their 70-year old VIPS. I usually wait five minutes to order, which felt like five years, especially since the bartender vanished for a “quick” 20-minute smoke break and place is empty. I’m pretty sure they were out back inventing time travel to keep this place stuck in 1972. And the flies— They’re not just visitors; they’re practically on the payroll, buzzing around like they own the kip. I’m pretty sure one of them tried to sell me a timeshare. It’s a shame, because this pub’s got a prime location that could be a goldmine if they dragged it into this century. Instead, it’s a shrine to the “coffin dodger” customers , who are clearly the only ones keeping this place afloat. I get it. loyalty’s sweet. but when the average customer age is eligible for a pigeon letter from st patrick himself, you might want to consider welcoming the under-80 crowd. At this rate, its got 5-10 years before it’s just a ghost town with a “For Sale” sign and a resident swarm of flies. Fix the furniture, embrace the 21st century with a card reader, and maybe invest in a flyswatter. Until then, I’ll be drinking somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s auditioning for a haunted house gig. Cheers to hoping this review gets more traction than their customer service!

24/07/2025: To be honest, this franchise needs shutting down. They haven't a clue. Second time in two weeks that they've given me some other person's order. Rang up just now to complain that half my order didn't arrive and just they hung up on me. It's a joke.

15/07/2025: I usually order from here quite a lot and have always enjoyed it, but lately it feels like both the service and food quality have been slipping. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I was really disappointed this time. I ordered a medium half-and-half pizza, and it arrived in a mess, it looked like someone attempted to cut it but didn’t finish the job. The slices were uneven and barely separated, leaving me with a cold, battered pizza that had a plasticky texture. In the past, I’ve overlooked minor issues like undercooked wedges or chicken that’s a bit too hard or chewy. But when the pizza which is the main part of the meal is inedible, it’s hard to ignore. I really hope this was just an off day and things improve soon.

21/02/2025: Food was lovely with previous owner's, and I have to say I taught it got better with the new owner's, very tasty, that is, when they get your order correct, 2 delivery's in a row now, they sent out a munchie box with no seasoning at all, very bland and tasteless, we ordered online and stated clearly to make sure it had plenty of seasoning, please try and get your customers orders correct, you obviously need someone who can read English and understand the orders, they did offer to send a free one the next time we order, which is something I suppose, I guess we will have to wait and see if the seasoning is included, it's not a munchie box without seasoning in my opinion unless that's what your into.....🤦 i will have no problem upgrading my review in time if our orders are as placed, thanks

09/07/2025: In my opinion, this is the best spicy bag in Cork. Presentation wise, lemon tree spicy bag is in a snack box, which is nicer, other places just put into a bag. Price is also cheaper than other places. Chicken is tender and not that dry compared to other places. Cash only though but you can go to Galvins Carry Out nearby to get cash.
