08/07/2025: I ordered a pizza and the 10 piece chicken. The pizza was good but the chicken was gone off, it smelled and tasted bad. Should've been thrown out instead of served.

07/06/2025: Food ok staff very rude and ignorant

18/06/2025: Got a muffin and ice cream there on the way home from tipp and got sick the muffin later on whatever was in it was disappointing

26/05/2025: A small thing when ye bring coffee to a table with food at least put milk n sugar on the tray. Simple when a person orders the coffee . " do you require milk n sugar. When your sitting at a table jacket off . You have to get leave everything and go find what you need. Same wit soft drinks put a straw on the tray. Very simple . A small bit of customer service..

21/04/2025: What a terrible bar we got moved out after gettting in early had about 3 drinks and got kicked out all 4 of us weren't allowed even get our coats had to practically beg the security to get them they were very rude would not recommend here at all save your money go somewhere else way too overpriced to think it's the only late bar In clonmel shows how bad clonmel is getting needs a major uplift in staff and management also drinks are way too overpriced

21/04/2025: I went in and asked if I could have a kebab and chips. I was told by the man serving it was €9.50 for the meal. All I asked was "can I get it any cheaper if I don't have a drink as I don't want one" To then be told by him the drink is free and I said "nothing is free"He repeated it's free and laughed. He could of said it will still be the same price but he acted so rude. I asked for a kebab then, which on the website is €8 and he couldn't understand me. This was at about 7pm in the evening, not late at night. I speak fluent English born in ireland He must only still be open in claremorris as he is the only shop selling a kebab. Also on his website it shows lamb doner. Yet he didn't even have it. He is the weirdest person to serve me ever, does he want business. However I enjoyed a supermacs only a few doors along and won't be going back to him.

15/02/2025: In the middle of Claremorris town in a busy street, 3 tables and opposite facing benches inside if you like to eat it in,nothing fancy just basic seating. Food is made to order and fresh,taste average,they are happy to cater your choices like I asked for a kebab tray with out bread and chips. Prices are reasonable.

25/06/2025: Overpriced chinese with very rude staff. €13.50 for a spice bag meal all you really get is loads of chips very little chicken and curry sauce with a drink. Poor rip off. Fang is very rude aswel. Hope the place closes soon. 🙏

15/06/2025: Had lunch at the R&R Brassiere in the Hotel. Terrible experience: very slow, really, I had almost forgotten what I had ordered when they finally brought it. And the food, not ‘no good’, it was simply bad. Seabass with some kind of curry sauce awful. And the portions were so small I didn’t feel I had had lunch. And the service was below average, not attentive for example to bring a new napkin after retiring one with the starter plate. Really bad in general.

13/06/2025: Myself and my husband had the pleasure of staying here Friday 6th June - 8th June for our 12 year wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived it was amazing!! The staff, the food/drinks, spa and new spa garden were all 5 star!! The barmaid Brenda was so friendly and helpful and warrants a special mention! We arrived to a bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room which was so lovely! Thank you all so much!! It was a well needed break from work and the kids and was everything we needed🥰 We can not wait to come back! And I have and most definitely will continue to recommend your hotel! Kindest regards! 24/05/2025: I always order from Hello Pizza but after how I got spoken to on the phone and the state my food was in I will not be ordering from them again. I placed an order on uber eats like I normally do and on the receipt I put done what phone number to ring when there outside, 1 hour late still no sign till I look outside and see my food not even on my property but outside my back gate covered in slugs, phoned the place and got attacked on the phone and no help the man saying it wasn’t his problem that the driver phoned me for 20 minutes yet I had not one miss call because he was ringing the wrong phone number the gate was open they didn’t even have the decency to knock on my door, I wouldn’t order from them.

22/05/2025: Paid 15€ in cash and the worker there said 7 on card for the large pizza deal with chips and 2 drinks and garlic sauce and I checked my bank statement this morning and I was charged 22 euro on my card instead of 7 the whole price for the meal was 22€ and I paid 15€ cash and the worker said 7 and I tapped my card and I checked my bank account and I was charged 22 instead of 7 and food took exceptionally long to make and I rang them and they said come down and we give food for free but I just want my money back that I was charged extra on

06/04/2025: Very disappointing experience. I went to this KFC at 8:07 PM, well before closing time (9 PM), only to be told I couldn’t be served because someone had started washing the floor. This is unacceptable. If your restaurant is open until 9, customers should be served until then—not turned away because cleaning has already started. Won’t be coming back.

31/05/2025: I had the green supreme bowl salad & thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were pleasant & and professional, and the service was quick

25/06/2025: I had one of the worst dining experiences at Vela. The food was incredibly disappointing—bland, greasy, and lacked any authentic flavor. We waited over 20 minutes just to get our order, and when it finally arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait. Every dish tasted like it had been sitting around for too long, and even the rice and naan were subpar. The service was slow and indifferent, with staff barely paying attention to the tables. Overall, it was a complete letdown. I’ve had amazing Indian food elsewhere, but this place completely missed the mark. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

02/05/2025: Overpriced for the small variety of food and the food itself were all very spices, having similar taste. This new version (shahi palace or something) is worse than before. No kids food options. Would not reccomend.

24/06/2025: 1 star is being generous. Worst room I've ever stayed in. There were no toilet facilities despite being told there was. Hallway smelt like an oil boiler. Avoid

03/06/2025: Excellent coffee overlooking the square. Indoor dog friendly as well as covered seating outside. Moose would rate it 100% due to the amount of dog biscuits she was given.

11/06/2025: Kebab and falafel came with a sauce I didn’t care for. I’m used to some kind of tahini sauce, these were a little spicy and had a little funky taste. Servers were very friendly and helpful though.
