18/03/2025: So bad,unbelievable how this store is operating the timing for a delivery I ordered a meal for my nephew.For the driver it took 1and a half hour for a delivery and also he delivered on a wrong address.Even a one star they did not deserve. Horibbele time keepers

27/03/2025: I would give 0 star.Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever had im a regular in this branch but won’t be back I’m disgusted meal was frightening !raw chips burnt nuggets requested plain got a ingredients scraped off burger !! Nothing short of a disgrace

20/02/2025: We went that McDonald’s around 9:30pm , very quiet , the fries were cold not fresh , the beef of Big Mac was cold and doubted it’s old beef , I felt not well in midnight 2 hours after meal. For the biggest and famous fast food restaurant I the world , they need to we’ll control the quality of food and customer services

01/01/2025: Nice wee cafe with plenty of choice, also glutenfree (GF) options available. I had a tasty GF breakfast fry, which had all the usual ingredients - I was pleased they had actual GF replacements, instead of just taking ingredients off the plate. My da had a great plate of (regular) fish and chips, too. Lovely place for a quick bite to eat!

28/12/2024: After cooking all through Christmas we looked forward to a fish and chips tea with curry sauce and peas. The place was absolutely heaving so I guess everyone else had the same idea. When we got home and opened the bag we were very disappointed. The fish although loads of it was obviously a frozen version which had just been recooked in the oil it was tasteless. As for the chips they were undercooked it was clear they were so busy they didn’t have enough time to cook the chips properly they were greasy and undercooked sticking to the grease paper. On the whole the meal was a disaster and at over €30 we will not be going here ever again. You have been warned.

10/01/2025: Ordered a battered sausage which turned out to be a chicken battered sausage and only found out after I asked as it tasted so bad! Learned afterwards that they changed ownership recently but kept the same name and brand. So deceiving - will NOT be returning.

07/02/2025: I ordered a child's hot chocolate for €2.50. I had my own takeaway cup, no deduction for that. A squirt of cream and a tablespoon of marshmallows and the price increased to €4.85! That's a disgrace!

01/04/2025: This is unfortunately the worst McD’s I have ever eaten in. I come here occasionally with my grandkids but I have never had a hot meal here, it’s always cold. The staff are useless and they work in mayhem behind the counter. It looks like bad management 101 to me. We just ate the terrible food because there is no point in complaining to a manager that doesn’t care and gets angry. A few people also left standing around, with kids waiting a counter that all the staff avoid. Looks like no one knows what’s going on. It is run so bad it’s comical. It, if you like cold food and indifferent staff, you may just love it here! 😂

18/03/2025: Very busy Starbucks in the middle of Athlone shopping centre. Efficient and fast service but cold, no smile, no emotions. Very good caramel cappuccino and cheese toastie. Together with small orange juice, it was pricey, 17€ altogether. It was busy but staff kept the place clean and cleared up tables straight away after customers left.

18/03/2025: My friend got a Espresso and when she opened the tiny cup It was in, less than half of the cup was filled. Its embarasing that that costs more than 3 euros. Moreover they tried to make us leave for only having one "drink" (that can't be called a drink). For more, my other friend was looking at the bakery to buy something when the bartender started removing It for no reason. Not even the place was good since all of the tables were dirty.

18/01/2025: Ordered the meal deal on justeat: the pizza, chicken tenders, chips, cookies and 2 sauces. It made me select 2 sauces when ordering the meal deal. When the food came, we got no sauces so we politely called and the Indian man on the phone was so rude. Saying we need to pay extra if we want sauce and that they don’t do that deal when we literally ordered that deal and it has the 2 sauces in it? He just randomly hung up and when we called back he said he’d send the two sauces out but never did. Pizza was disgusting, cold and hard. Tasted like it had been left in that box for 2 days. However the chicken and cookies were very nice. If you don’t do that deal anymore or not going to give any sauces, change your justeat or give customers what they ordered.

14/12/2024: Not from the area, but I ordered food at 11.45 pm and the last orders of delivery was at 1am, I waited a full hour and 20 mins for the food so I decided to ring them and no answer 🤦 shocking place to order from if I was anyone I'd avoid!!

17/03/2025: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE Ordered on Just Eat and order gets accepted, only for the restaurant to ring me demanding an extra €5 for Delivery as we are outside of their usual 'delivery radius'. Of course, I refuse this as the order was originally accepted and ask them, if they wont deliver to simply refund the order. The restaurant worker then decides to develop a horrible attitude on the phone, and after being passed around to 3 different members of staff they eventually refuse refund, telling me to contact Just Eat. Just Eat will not provide a refund when it is processed on the user side after an order it has been accepted - and i have a feeling the staff knew this, as one of them said, "You need to take their money not mine." Why did this restaurant originally accept this order, if they knew it was outside their usual delivery radius? Do they just hope people cave in and pay the extra fee? UPDATE ON THIS >>>>>>>>>>> MORNING AFTER So apparently... Just Eat was contacted by the restaurant, and they have confirmed they 'attempted to deliver this order' and 'attempted contact via phone' - neither of which happened. Therefore Just Eat will not process a refund. Why would the restaurant attempt delivery after being told to cancel? After all, they originally said this was outside of their delivery radius. They were under the impression I was in the midst of getting a refund from Just Eat? Were they going to deliver the food for free? Of course they weren't... This is a scam. I'm sure I'm not the first and wont be the last. IF YOU READ THIS MESSAGE.. DO NOT ORDER!!!!!

16/03/2025: Incompetent. They wanted more for delivery which I do not have cash to pay. They refuse to cancel my order so I am not able to get a refund. Their delivery prices are set up wrong which they are aware of, why would you accept the order and then refuse to cancel it. Bunch of incompetent people

22/12/2024: We always go there and get good sushi and burgers. The Asian waiters are so kind and very fast. Will be back only for it

12/10/2024: Went to a Japanese restaurant , but it’s actually just a bar. Then the waiter says that they DONT have sushi, sashimi or any kind of seafood at all. Very dissatisfied, I ordered ramen that was bland and tasteless. I don’t recommend this place at all.
