14/10/2025: I’ve only tried spice bags and it’s good not enough chicken in it that’s only downfall.

23/08/2025: Once the best chinese in the area. Now it's awful, portions tiny, food quality terrible, service shocking, and value terrible.

07/09/2025: The initial professional welcome by the chap on duty was my highlight, thereafter it was interesting as this dinky and oh so trendy eaterie beyond the ladies 'leisure shoes' section positively leaked customers. No 'Front of House' staff stationed at the entrance, with, it seems, only two staff seemed manning the fort, a third on barista duty. We watched bemused as ignored and impatient ladies walked away while the priority seemed to be to clear tables. Ok, to the food: elegantly presented maple bacon croissant for me and a chorizo hash were tasty brunch items with decent herbal teas and coffees. Two poached eggs with each were cooked perfectly and the croissant was good for the 'mopping-up'. There's a good buzz in and around this place so maybe BTs has finally got a good café formula. Tweaks will come and the hard-working staff will hopefully get some leadership..

01/08/2025: Kinda Terrible... Order: Chorizo Hash (€17.50), Chicken Wrap (€15.50), 2 × Americano (€8.40). Total: €41.40. for a below average brunch. The chorizo hash was mishandled twice. First plate arrived with hard-cooked eggs; when I queried it, the response was awkward with the waiter, another staff member rescued the situation from afar. The second plate swung the other way: the egg whites were undercooked and runny, you know like snotty egg white (gag) and the dish was over-sauced and oily. The chicken wrap and coffees were fine, and the room is pleasant, but at these prices I expect consistency and properly poached eggs. Service was willing; execution wasn’t. Bottom line: disappointing overall — we won’t be back. I'd suggest, don't waste your time / money here.

23/10/2025: I’ve been ordering food from your place every week, and it’s always been delicious. However, my last two orders were both incorrect. The first time, I decided to just let it go, but the second time, it happened again. I called to report the issue, and your team said they could replace the order — which I appreciated — but the replacement also came spicy, even though I didn’t request that. Later, I received another call saying that the order I returned was actually my original order, and I was even asked to pay for it. That was really disappointing because it clearly wasn’t the dish I always order and enjoy. I’m honestly very disappointed by how this was handled. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

08/12/2025: Nice place inside Dundrum Shoping Center and food is good just like other McDs but sometimes crowd quality is not that good.

28/09/2025: McDonalds an absolute disaster, tea was lukewarm, burger was cold the fries 🍟 were cold. And it cost €9.50 for this poison 😡😡😡😡. And when the person was clearing the tables didn’t even wipe down the area. A visit from the FSAI is definitely on the cards for this place.

06/12/2025: Employes are very cheeky and never get the food right always making mistakes and saying its not there fault 7 out of my last 10 orders have been ether cold or wrong and get very cheeky when ring them.back about it

07/09/2025: You know what, I always rated this place, thought the food and service was good, but the woman my sister just dealt with on the phone was beyond rude. Ordered the new Conor Ryan munchie box. 3 small pieces of chicken in the box and a handful of chips. Have had it a few times and portion was always good. This is a disgrace. Woman just said my sister was wrong, wouldn't listen. Won't be getting our business again. Shocking, hope an actual manager looks at this. Go elsewhere, save you the hassle. 18/10/2025: Curry was like a tomato soup. It separated on the plate. Half Water half solid paste. Overpriced for what it was very below average a shame because it used to be good. No flavour. I spent 24 euro for one meal. It was the meal for one with charge for nan bread additional Nan bread was very think and small. Recent reviews tell the same story

10/08/2025: Ordered takeaway a week ago Very disappointed with quality of the food Chicken was very rubbery and amount of chicken in the dish as very little compared to other Indian restaurants The sauce was watery and there was very little flavour or spice The rice was reheated and tough I would not recommend at all

01/09/2025: The food was only okay. The spice bags are flavorful and the curry was good but was in no way fresh. The service took forever as the young lady working the food stall was chatting with what I assume is a friend or off duty coworker who was smoking in front of the ordering station. She was so distracted she left out our vegetable rolls. It could use substantial improvement.

26/08/2025: This is my favorite spot in Cork. It has become tradition for my friends and I to get spice bags here after a night out. The portions are large, the flavor is great (get the satay sauce!!), the price is reasonable, and the staff is always kind and quick when getting the food out. I have not eaten a spice bag that even compares to Wok ‘n’ Roll.

31/08/2025: 20/8/2025 It had been years since I last came to eat at this place. Outrageous prices for what they offer: I had asked for a double portion of vegetables, they charged me extra for the request, but as you can see, while eating, there wasn’t a single trace of vegetables in my meal! Dishonest, incompetent, and absurdly expensive. They even asked for €2 more per person just to sit at a table! Unfortunately, Loughrea doesn’t have many good options, but I will never give my money to these thieves again!!! 26/7/2023 The food could have good potential and good quality, but for 3 years now the quality is scarce, the products are not very fresh, the costs (quality - price ratio) are high. They need a makeover of the staff and cooks! Also, due to the extra service cost, the place is empty, and the service cost isn't justified when the table is just an empty table with no cutlery whatsoever.

28/06/2025: Asked for jug of water, received bottled water - €3 each. Menu price different to til price - rip off.

15/11/2025: Saying RUDE is still a compliment! I was walking with my dog and unfortunately she poo on the footpath few meters from Espresso. As I was embarrassed not to have my own dog poo bags (forgot them in the car), I asked to the lady in Espresso to give me some napkins or a piece of paper to collect. She said NO! She also said to me she doesn’t serve non-customers and napkins are for customers. I offered to pay 10€ for the napkins and she refused. When I called up that I was only asking for a favor and that I didn’t want to leave dirty the footpath, she answered NOT MY PROBLEM. Yes, lady, it’s not your problem, but being nice at this world doesn’t cost you anything. Like thins I hope many see how little empathy you have towards people asking for very little help and think twice before even entering in your place. Go anywhere else in Cahersiveen, but please don’t support Espresso!

12/05/2025: Ok shop - buy tea, coffee food etc but they have no toilet. I will go to a service station in future where they lnow what service is.

10/12/2025: Really Disappointing experience with Paramount hotel i recently visited in December 2025. The room had no ventilation and there was really bad smell in room coming from toilets like Urination, even after spraying perfumes and doing all possible stuff it felt like puking all time couldn’t sleep all night as bed was just beside toilet. The room was not so spacious it was bathroom sized rooms. Worst worst worst experience i ever had. I recommend everyone who is reading this review please consider booking another hotel as this will give you Trauma for life…

02/11/2025: The food, the staff, and the portion sizes were all excellent everything was great! Definitely recommend it. There’s a lovely lady working behind the counter who’s so welcoming and genuinely wants to make sure your container is full such a nice touch. One small note: the young couple behind the counter should be a bit more mindful of their surroundings while working, as they were being affectionate with each other. It can come across as unprofessional in front of customers.

27/10/2025: Food was okay. One member of staff particularly rude, really no need for it. Other staff were pleasant but honestly wouldn’t bother going here unless you’re ready for an eye roll and someone pointing to things grunting rather than responding. You’d be better off driving for 20 minutes somewhere else for a more decent Chinese for less the price. I work in retail and i understand dealing with the public can be shite but there’s a bare minimum level of customer service you should have. (They have tried to remove my review, stand by your service and deal with issues rather than trying to hide them 👍)
