15/12/2024: Second time ordering from this place and second time having an issue. First time, the chicken tasted disgusting. Almost like bleach. When I rang up I was told that nobody else had this issue. Sent a new order and asked for the old one back. Tonight, ordered a simple spice bag. Had to ring after an hour to ask where the order was. The shop is a 5 minute walk from my house. 20 minutes after the "it's on its way" notification, it arrived. Cold, dried up/reheated chips. Inedible. Called up. New order sent straight away. Why couldn't it have been sent straight away before? The driver clearly took a few orders and arrived at mine last. That's the last time I'll order from that place. The food is inedible.

08/12/2024: I've always been happy with the food and the service. My only complaint is the door to the shop which is a bit of a hazard as it's hard to open and gets stuck. Management really need to install a new door!
05/09/2024: I recently got a steak and cheese sub from this diner. All I can say it was like a dogs dinner. The paper wrapped around it was embedded into the sub roll and trying to remove it ripped the roll apart. I brought it back to the shop. They replaced it. But with no sorry or nothing. I went in the next day to get a salad and the attitude of the man and girl behind the counter. He literally throw the lettuce into the box. The girl then stood in and proceeded to call me rude as I complained yesterday about the roll and told me not to return. They need lessons in customer service badly!!! I will never return to it again.

12/01/2025: Ignorant staff.. friends nannys funeral was booked and paid for upstairs, yet the room was freezing. No heating on while the temperature was -1 outside and inside. Not a good experience. Asked not to sing also hours after selling us alcohol all day at a funeral. Disgraceful reactions.
10/01/2025: No heating on upstairs after a funeral - 2 outside 9/1/2025 everybody sitting in coats rapped up freezing said it to the barman his answer do I look as doe I care if it were upto me I would off pulled everybody over to the shamrock
and this was for a person that drank there most of there life

26/10/2024: Nice coffee. Staff not so friendly.
It would be more efficient if consecutive numbers were given for coffee orders as people get confused with random numbers making them think they missed their coffee collection. Consider hiring more staff, maybe staff would be friendlier then.
29/08/2024: Great chai latte, they have oatmilk which is from Cork, which was delicious (also they up-charge less on alternative milks than other coffee places in Cork, which is greatly appreciated!). Barista was very friendly.

29/12/2024: El servicio fue excelente al igual que el fletán con ñoquis. Nos pareció que el menú era demasiado limitado y las selecciones no eran particularmente coherentes. La decoración era un poco anticuada y no encajaba con el resto del hotel, pero tuvimos una buena experiencia y volveríamos en función de la conveniencia de la ubicación.

Disgusting!!! Bread cheap and stale! Taste cold as if it was made yesterday. Sausage roll looked as though it was halved. Horrible.
It was never good but has got worse.
Expensive too.
No respect for their customers.
Third world food.
Would prefer to give it no stars.

04/01/2025: Solid option but KFC in general can be pricey, probably the most expensive of the main fast food chains as soon as you stray outside the main meals when buying for individuals. Great bargains for groups to be had in share bucket meals though.
This KFC location has good staff who are really helpful and the restaurant is kept very clean. Gives you exactly what you'd want, also the lighting isn't as bright as at other places in the evenings which is a nice touch too. Easy parking.

21/08/2024: I waited 1 hour and a half for food for it to come cold I then rang to say it was cold the girl on the phone said she had to speak to the delivery driver and would ring back 20 minutes later I rang back to see what he said she said she was just about to ring me they were sending out new food when the driver came she asked me to swap the food I willing done that she wanted the can of coke back also so she took back the can she brought with her I ordered at 6:45 and ate at 9:00

08/10/2024: Called here last Friday.. had a fillet burger meal. It was the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken was hard and appeared to have been cooked hours before. The bun was the smallest, mis-shapen ever I have seen and the smallest portion of fries ever - all for €10…. NEVER AGAIN
