16/04/2025: I got a fish box meal the minute I bit into the smoked cod it was hard and it smelled gone off like it was lying there for days it was also black In colour i rang and the woman said come back and she will refund me when i went back she questioned me and even laughed she even asked me for the drink back and the sauce so unprofessional of her she lied and said the fish is made daily I am sorry I never took a photo of this but looking back on a comment from last week there was a similar issue with a customers smoked cod so she would want to stop being in denial about her discussing fish

05/04/2025: I got a smoked cod in batter with chips. Tge fish was overcooked and dry also the battery was a little burned and tge chips where average. Won't go here again.

11/02/2025: Food is always warm going on cold and service is just bad , they give subway a bad name I would rather drive to Blanchardstown to get a good one , I’m surprised they are still going to be honest

17/10/2024: Food was okay, could use some work on the service, didn't ask if I wanted sauce on my sandwich. So the sandwich was kinda dry.

26/08/2024: Busy spot in Schull harbour. Food is excellent. Really fresh fish and excellently cooked and presented. Owner is French and has a great no nonsense approach to his food. Highly recommend.

27/11/2024: Ordered a delivery. This took 1 and half hours to come, had to call in twice about where the order was. The delivery driver was abusive and told me he is just a driver and how is he meant to know where he is going 😅 Food was stone cold. This place has turned into a complete joke stay away.

24/11/2024: I’m new to living in Lucan, got a takeaway from Chinatown for four people and we all loved it. Each of our dishes were very tasty where two of us had meat where it was excellent quality. We were very impressed. When I rang to order by phone, they were extremely busy (rush hour on a Sat evening) but yet very polite & welcoming on the phone. I’d highly recommend Chinatown.

28/03/2025: I am extremely disappointed. I placed an order on Just Eat for La Calavera, which was showing as ONLINE, only for the order to be canceled. If a restaurant cannot accept orders, it should be marked as OFFLINE! This is incredibly frustrating and disrespectful. Now, an hour later, I have to start all over again. This is unacceptable.

05/04/2025: Couldn't have met nicer staff even under a lot of pressure with antisocial behaviour from a lot of children and other people, food was lovely too. Thank you for the warm welcome and delicious food

13/04/2025: We were shocked by the behaviour of the female owner, who spoke to her staff—particularly our waiter—in an incredibly disrespectful and demeaning way. It was uncomfortable to witness and created a really unpleasant atmosphere. The food itself was below average, especially considering the high price point. After our drinks arrived, we seriously considered leaving due to how rudely the owner was treating the waiter. Absolutely appalling behaviour. Safe to say we won’t be returning, nor would we recommend this place to anyone.

27/10/2024: Had a great meal at the inn. The seafood chowder is not to be missed. The Lamb shank was also very good. Very conveniently located with ease of finding a parking space. Would definitely stop in again if in the area

05/04/2025: I had, without a doubt, the best culinary experience of my life on Friday night. I entered Rico’s and was greeted by Laya and Juel. For context, they are the most amazing staff I have ever met in any restaurant ever. The food that they prepared for myself and my friend was the best food I have ever tasted. I recommend Rico’s to anyone in Dublin who needs to eat. Laya and Juel are the best employees of any establishment I have ever visited. Thank you Laya. Thank you Juel. Thank you Rico. Thank you.

04/02/2025: I had an awful experience ordering from Rico’s via Deliveroo. I ordered kebab and tandoori, expecting a delicious meal, but what I received was shocking. The kebab was rotten and had a foul smell, while the tandoori was cold and completely undercooked—totally unsafe to eat! To make things worse, when I reached out to Deliveroo for help, they refused to offer a refund or any resolution, essentially telling me to just deal with the bad food. This is completely unacceptable, both from the restaurant and Deliveroo. Selling spoiled food is a serious health risk, and customer service should take responsibility for such situations. Bengali who is making this shit is unhygienic and wants to sell this rotten chicken to the customer's...Grow up manh...be genuine. Avoid this place unless you want to waste your money and risk food poisoning!

20/09/2024: Not as friendly as you might hope it

01/09/2024: Lovely location and well appointed park which seems to be run by a community committee or have some involvement from the Local Authority. Well maintained and clean. However, to call it a Caravan and Camping Site is a bit of a misnomer. It is an excellent Caravan park, but not suitable for tents, particularly, large family tents. Not their fault, it's just the geography of the site. It has a high water table, and is boggy / marshy in most areas. They also seem to have a heavy leaning towards seasonal pitches for caravan which lead to a relatively empty and souless site. We had planned a three night stay but left after two. Because of heavy rainfall, and poor drainage throughout the site there were puddles / ponding throughout including under the tent which felt as though we were walking on a water bed under foot. Once this started to breach the groundsheet - it was time to go. On arrival, we were met by two staff members in reception. Once exceptionally friendly and helpful and the other, the polar opposite, surly, grumpy and incommunicative. We (the helpful staff member and I) had some difficulty finding a pitch that wasn't waterlogged. If it was a normal weekend, I would not have accepted the site and moved on elsewhere, either further on to Killybegs or back towards Sligo, or headed home but, unfortunately, we had a family event in Bundoran and had no options. We investigated air bnb / bookings.com and couldn't find an alternative. Eventually, we settled on a little greenspace between the public carpark (outside the campsite cordon) and the public playground (also outside the campsite cordon). Best of a bad lot. This was the driest space we could find and too small for a large family tent. We ended up with guy wires tied to fencing. It was very close to the N15, a very busy national road which led to a lot of traffic noise throughout the night. It was also more than 30 meters from the EHU point and too far for our standard 15m lead. Therefore, no EHU despite having paid €5 per night for it, up-front. We asked for an extension lead but unfortunately none was available so we'd have to do without. This would have been an ideal opportunity for the surly staff member to offer a refund of the €15 for EHU, but it wasn't forthcoming and given the limited communications and grunts, I didn't press the issue. As we packed up a day early, in the rain, trying not to splash too much mud on our polycotton tent, the friendly staff member called over to chat. I expressed our disappointment with the sites drainage problems and water logging and made it clear that this was the reason we were leaving early. He was sympathetic and apologetic. I fully accept that the unseasonably wet weather was not their fault however, it should be made clear to tent campers on booking that they are heavily weather dependent in their suitability for tents. We'd booked over a month in advance and a simple phone call, letting us know the site was waterlogged from the bad weather could have given us options, such as a smaller tent set up, or given us more time to find alternative accommodation close to Bundoran. All in all, a lovely caravan site but, not suitable for tents in all but the driest of weather.

14/04/2025: Nothing wrong with food, appreciate it’s McDs and not a Michelin restaurant, but have to note the dirt of the place. Absolutely disgustingly dirty. No manager presence. Staff sitting in the circle K drive through outside smoking. Bins overflowing. All the tables dirty. Nobody cleaned even 1 table the entire 30 mins we were there. Basic hygiene. 🤢

01/04/2025: Absolute kip! Stay away from this place, you're better off going down the road to the Northwood one. Slowest staff I've ever come across, orders are constantly wrong, burgers are slapped together and fries are always cold.

18/04/2025: Food is always perfect and the manager was very helpful :)

31/03/2025: Good food. But the toilets were closed except for the disabled toilets causing a wait. Uncomfortable. I asked the staff member who said she'd open them but was in no hurry and wasn't friendly. Not what you would expect of burger king.

28/03/2025: Food is good and tasty i enjoyed my meal. But my bill was 2 euros higher than i expected. Sause was added despite my explicit request to not add any sauses.

26/12/2024: Great price for good fresh sushi. Ordered delivery on Christmas Eve through UberEats and it was a lovely surprise to have an amazing Christmas dinner.! Almost no restaurants were operating. We ordered: Cooked salmon with cream cheese, tuna avocado and cream cheese, salmon avocado with cream cheese, fried one with three proteins! Each one costs 10€! Favorite one was the fried with three proteins by far. Only bad thing is that their soy sauce packs are not enough for even half a plate. Hopefully you have your own at home if you like it. Enjoy!

23/03/2025: Rang last week at 7:40 food didnt arrive till 9.15 rang twice was told busy fare enough its busy for the food to come cold chips and everythibg else that was ordered was gone soggy rang them up to give them a heads up when the girl said sorry ill put u in the book for 10 crdit i didnt ask for this i was ringing up about the service Rings them tonight orders me food tells her about last week hang on ill check the book comes back your not in the book we only give credit wen the food comes back well the girl on the fone didnt tell me that on the 16 march wen i rang bk up cause i wud of gladly giving the food back having to heat up me kids order in the mircowave
