19/07/2025: Chips tasted like oily reheats Chicken gravy was tasteless. Chicken pieces were dry. Unfortunately wouldn't go back.

14/07/2025: Over priced trash didn't taste good at all. dry and useless and for the fella working there put a smile on your face miserable ogar

19/08/2025: I ordered the chicken fillet burger and was really impressed! The burger was delicious, with a generous amount of chicken The portion was great.

06/08/2025: Guy was so rude and abrupt on the phone while trying to place an order shouting at me when I asked for extra toppings on the deal about prices ,really turned me off ever going here again was always a regular customer spending 40 a week on a treat haven’t been in a while but definitely won’t be returning after the way I was spoken to lucky I even picked up the food . Food was okay chicken was cremated very little toppings will stick to Denis kebabs shop from now on

21/08/2025: The steak pasta dishes had lots of pasta and not very much and poor quality steak. Very disappointing

17/08/2025: The only dish we enjoyed was the pizza. The pasta was disgusting, soaked in grease, and overcooked. I don't recommend it; it's very expensive and the quality is poor.

30/06/2025: I ordered a battered sausage and a kebab tray. Portion size was tiny for the price. The sausage looked like it was cooked 3 weeks ago. The chips weren't bad but the kebab meat was dry and inedible. No trimmings just chips meat and sauce. Only thing this place is good for is the people who are to drunk to care.

01/09/2025: I had the €20 meal deal. Unfortunately the service did not match the tasty food. Portion sizes were great, super flavourful and good value, especially as in Portmarnock.

18/08/2025: Ordered a kid's crispy salt and chilli chicken and rice and got a box looking like this. didn't even get the order right and when I went up to complain I was accused of tampering with the dish by pouring water in it. only ate a bite of it so not even trying to get a free meal. got it remade and it was still wrong, and very watery. awful situation overall and very disappointed. 8.50 for this won't be going again.

15/06/2025: Went to cocktail bar upstairs and there was one other table of people, took about 20 mins to get a drink. Seemed to be only one person able to make drinks

07/04/2025: The staff are fantastic but I have to say the dj on a Sunday is shocking he's that bad he just presses play on the laptop its a set play list I counted 7 people including myself asking for a song because it's all his music which is emptying the place on a Sunday asking for a song only to be told no I have a play list can't play that the place goes from lively to dead because the dj is lazy and drinking doesn't want to bother ends when he feels like and from a regular customer who put alot of money behind the bar either a group of 8 friends will no longer becoming in because it's not a good night out anymore atmosphere is dead because the dj is so bad they need to change the dj plenty of people are talking about it the staff are fantastic door staff and bar staff but dj on Sunday is ruining the entertainment for people

29/06/2025: Edit: This was finally fixed. Still leaving the review for education purposes as this never should have occurred. Was just on Subway O'Connell St. Limericks JustEat page. I would suggest being very careful ordering from this. A 500ml bottle of Fanta lemon (or any soft drink on the menu currently) are all adding on +90 cents to the price of the drink listed as a 'deposit' for the Deposit Return Scheme in place. However as per the deposit return scheme on plastic bottles you can only get between 15 cent to 25 cent return on recycling these. So having these set as 90 cent is hoping a consumer wont notice and be charged extra they wont get back. On top of that the price of the actual drink is in total 4.80 with that deposit. Meaning a 500ml bottle of soft drink is almost 5 euros. That is an absolute scam. I also checked Subway William Street Limerick and Subway Castletroy Limerick and their deposit fees are correct at 15 cents for minerals. Whoever put this on Subways O'Connells St JustEat page should be ashamed of themselves. Please be aware if ordering online from them.

07/06/2025: Yurman was gay, when we asked how much it was he said “im not a magician” and it felt very disrespectful!!!

10/07/2025: The chips were terrible, soggy and just warm. The chicken in the spice bag was like rubber and the chicken balls were huge but are so greasy it makes you feel sick. Never ordering from this place again.

09/05/2025: I have enjoyed their food every time for over 11 years. 5/5. Make that over 13 years, they have been closed the last few weeks, I hope it's not permanent.

26/06/2025: Used to love coming here but last time I went the machine didn’t work and I was sitting waiting for a order for 15 minutes I asked and I said that I wanted a refund and manger wasn’t polite about it I won’t be back

24/06/2025: My review isn't about the food but about the staff working there, My daughter and her friend left a CV there as they were looking for a summer job. The staff took the cv's and gave them trial days (with no pay while being expected to stay the full day or atleast a good few hours ) and there were more young students who did the same. The staff promised to give them a call after a week and she would tell them if they got the job or not. None of them ever got a call back, it is seriously unprofessional to take young people without pay or any sort of compensation after working for hours.

18/08/2025: Probably the nicest 4 in 1 I've had in years, me and my girlfriend stopped in for dinner on our holidays and were both delighted. Lovely staff and ready really quick, will absolutely pop back in next time

29/05/2025: Worst food ever got in a Chinese takeaway,large order placed,food was very overcooked,chips were rock hard,no veg in spice bags/munchboxes,no spice or chill either,chicken balls very dry & overcooked,nobody enjoyed their food,save your money & go elsewhere,they are also charging the return on tins with no return logo.
