28/07/2024: Ordered kebab, it smelled like hot garbage (i swear this is not an exaggeration) and the food was SOOO bland i doubt there was even salt. 2 bites then garbage where it belongs.

22/07/2024: Very poor taco fries here recently. I arrived to collect my order and they had not noticed it on the system. They asked me to wait 5 minutes which I did. At the same time some customers ordered taco fries. When I got the order home the portion of taco fries was laughable for over 10 euro. Very few fries and pretty much just covered in sauce. Would not recommend here. Very bad experience

01/01/2025: Showed up during open hours & they were closed. If they were going to close unexpectedly during the week, they should have updated their hours on Google.

08/09/2024: Very nice selection of sorbet and the coffee is very good.

18/08/2024: Hemos estado yendo aquí desde que tengo memoria, pero durante ese tiempo ha habido varios cambios de gestión y con cada uno el estándar baja y ahora ha tocado un mínimo histórico. La nueva dirección tiene un trabajo entre manos dando la vuelta a esto, ya que la comida era constantemente horrible y quiero decir horrible! ¡No quiero ver ningún negocio fracasar, pero así es como va esto a menos que encuentren un chef que sepa cocinar!

06/07/2024: Nos encanta el sushi Taro. Es nuestra comida favorita. Todavía tenemos que visitar el restaurante en sí, pero si es tan bueno como la comida para llevar diría que es increíble. Los panecillos de tempura California son una prueba obligada - tan frescos, grandes porciones y tan delicioso. Me encanta la ensalada de tofu de algas de aguacate y si te gusta la comida fría y caliente juntos es un acompañamiento increíble para el pollo Katsu. Las cajas dobladas tienen tan buena relación calidad-precio y las verduras tempura para empezar son una necesidad!

13/10/2024: We had eaten here a few times, just wanted a toastie. Food was tasty, but the portion was small , I ordered chips , it was tiny about 10 skinny chips . My wife had chicken bap , and it was also tasty. Again very small portion. The cost incl 2 teas cost €35. I queried the owner about size of portion, in particular chips . She said it was not raised before ,€4.50 for 10 skinny chips is excessive. I believe the owner has now retired. I was disappointed because We had always found portion size and taste very good.

20/09/2024: Really enjoyed the streak baguette from here today Came with really fresh salad and also really fresh chips home made will definitely be back

30/07/2024: Came on the 30/07/2024 around 530pm Ordered sandwich with such a detained and patronising attitude. You ask for something small ie a little extra topping and they handled the food showing their frustration and looked like they don’t even want to do their jobs they get paid for. Rude attitudes. Poor service with not even an ounce of basic customer service. They need to employ staff who have a passion to want to work …….

10/05/2024: Horrible food , ordered a wrap which I get from obriens all the time , my first time getting from blanch and I’m completely turned off ever going back , Omni is far better

22/03/2025: Was going to the toilet then when I herd a knok I went to hurry up then I heard somone put a coin in the door and open saw the mangers head and said what are you doing and she walked out and hid in the back room I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed

21/03/2025: Costa Coffee is always my shop of choice for coffee even when plenty others are around. Yesterday I was in the new Costa in Navan which was amazing with friendly service, but today, I popped I to Costa in Trim to pick up a muffin, drink and then I used the bathroom. I'm always polite, friendly and never forget to say please and thank you as manners cost nothing. The lady serving me was nothing short of impatient and rude. I didn't understand the toilet code she gave me and I repeated what I thought she said incorrectly. She sighed, hands on hips, rolled her eyes, waited a while and repeated herself. I get people having issues and maybe not having the best day, but I don't think I've ever come across this before. Who rolls their eyes at a customer politely asking for the door code. Definitely won't be back.

01/07/2024: Meal was amazing. We had steak. Sad to see J1s going. Will miss Mary and Barry and staff. Best wishes in their future

18/06/2024: Nice fast food, eggs and sausages cooked properly. Working man's paradise.

02/08/2025: The fry, one of the very few traditional chip shops left in Cork, well priced, beautiful food, phone in orders available, and they accept credit cards

23/07/2025: I had haddock and it was not pinboned and when I was eating scales were coming directly in my mouth. It was not descaled as well and the quantity was not enough. Very bad experience with haddock. 1/4 and 1/2 pounders are nice.

07/12/2024: The full Irish breakfast is one of the best I have ever had! Great creamy hot chocolate too (and I am a picky one!) The service was very friendly and we got served fast. Inside is very pretty and cosy. Thank you 🥰

07/05/2025: We met with a friend for lunch and stayed until nearly 5pm. Wineport is in a beautiful setting and on a warm and sunny afternoon it was an excellent place to meet. Staff are very welcoming, relaxed and professional. Our lunches were reasonably priced and very tasty, I would definitely be back to try again

14/02/2025: I always thought the Wineport Lodge was the place to have dinner in the midlands but the quality has considerably dropped. However, the prices are higher now!!! Meaning a very basic steak with no trimmings will set you back 40 eur when it is 25-30 eur anywhere else. The dinner menu is very basic. Very disappointed and will not go there again for a while.
