25/04/2025: Place is a kip! Scruffy !! Staff have no idea what your talking about all food always wrong or stuff missing try to rush you or don’t answer at all on the drive thru intercom Leaving you waiting in carpark for 15~20 mins everytime ! Smallest portions ever Rude staff ! Just go Liffey valley if you want a kfc because this place is just filthy anyways and worst staff

21/04/2025: Shocking 5 staff 20m waited for order Place is empty just us here rude can't take a order had to laugh how bad it was no salt no straws ketchup then told we didn't order a certain meal when english is our first language not theirs kip of a place lady on drive through picking her nose and other on phone had to ask for our order to be taken

13/03/2025: Small spice bag, overcooked chips and popcorn sized chicken mostly batter and little if any peppers and onions. €9.50 with water plus card charge €0.50. Waste of a tenner and won’t be going back again.

23/02/2025: Used to be good. Very poor food, chips soggy, vegetables don’t exist and no seasoning on food. They just serving anything anyhow hoping you won’t come back and complain.

24/04/2025: I came in in around a month ago and was about to ask if they had the facilities for me to charge my phone with a cable and plug when i was interrupted and told “toilets are for customers”. I felt it was rather rude. Today i came in for a second time. It was the same man and he was rather rude, kind of flinging the food at me. I wasn’t asked whether i wanted my food toasted and im assuming they only do takeaway cups as I wasn’t offered a plate or mug. Overall poor service. He’s a white man with what I assume is a French accent, middle aged.

19/04/2025: I was so stuck that I was going to go to the restroom first and then order coffee, but unfortunately the curly-haired woman working there came to me and said that I couldn't use the restroom without getting coffee. So, for the first time, I was treated rudely at a place I regularly go to and they told me I couldn't use the restroom without ordering. I think I will never drink coffee from a brand like this again. I am really upset because I worked under this brand for 6 months before. We would never treat our customers like this.

22/03/2024: This cafe used to be a regular stop for me for coffee and/or food. Since Covid, I've been an infrequent visitor. What a change. And not for the good. Yes, the coffee is good. And possibly anything else that doesn't require the input of a cook. My scrambled eggs were a travesty on a plate. Basic cooking techniques absent. The eggs were not whisked properly and so seriously overcooked (burnt edges) The staff are friendly, and keen to help. But when a server coughs frequently without any attempt to cover their mouth it begs the question what training, if any, these people have been given? This does not bode well for Idlewilde. I hope positive changes are made.

24/02/2025: Pedimos dos cafés, comida y un zumo de naranja fresco. Pedimos el jugo mientras esperamos nuestra comida y cafés solo para que nos digan que toda la comida y bebidas tienen que servirse juntas, así que cancelamos nuestro jugo. Vergüenza como comida era encantador. ¡Una lástima lo del zumo!

18/02/2025: Esperé más de una hora para nuestra comida sabiendo que estaban ocupados, pero la gente que había venido después de todos nosotros consiguió su comida. Preguntó servidor que puso excusas pero no quiso comprobar en nuestra comida. ¡Luego nos dio la mesa junto a nuestra comida! Cuando fuimos a revisar dónde estaba la comida, el gerente fue desdeñoso y grosero y también fue grosero con la mujer que había tomado y puesto en nuestro pedido. Después de una hora y 15 minutos nos trajo la comida de otra persona que fue enviada de vuelta. Terminamos saliendo después de una hora y media de espera. Comprende perfectamente que podrías estar ocupado y podría haber problemas con tu sistema de pedidos, pero hablar con un gerente sin disculpas o incluso comunicación básica con los clientes es terrible. Nunca volveremos.

01/06/2024: We stayed in the hotel and while waiting to check in I tried the angus burger here and was pleasantly surprised. I’m a bit of a burger snob, so I was taken aback that It ended up being one of the more flavourful burgers I’ve ever had. We even ordered again later in our trip for room service. The beef patty may very well be frozen, but it’s properly seasoned and has a nice beef flavour throughout. Whatever cheese they put on it went incredibly well with it, too. We hadn’t tried anything else on the menu, but I’m still thinking about the burger, so give it a shot.

23/05/2024: Had the chicken supreme , could hardly find it on the plate. Potato was lukewarm at best and you d find more meat on a dead hamster. Rip off !

08/01/2025: My husband went there about an hour ago (we eat in Papa Rich for years btw) this one was just conveniently located on our way home, anyway go figure : we ordered 2 duck with Hoisin sauce & asked for half chips half boiled rice (we were told this could not be done ?!! I mean 1 portion of rice & 1 portion of chips to take away could not be done ?!! What a heck?! We had to buy 2 boiled rice & one extra portion of chips when for yrs we have ordered half & half!! Not impressed & the duck meat wasn’t as much as it used to be either

21/02/2025: This cafe has a comfortable and spacious seating, and the staff was very friendly👍 (especially tht asian staff at the counter on Friday afternoon)

30/11/2024: I pop in to Quigleys quite a bit, the staff are brilliant, very polite. Food is priced well and tastes great. If your looking for a chill vibe, nice munch or coffee and even a place to open up the labtop I'd highly recommend Quigleys in Tesco shopping center

01/04/2025: €17.90 for fish and chips with a can of coke and garlic sauce I think is quite pricey😬 however it was delicious. I gave 1 star for the atmosphere because for the whole time while I was waiting for my order, what looked like a senior staff was giving out to one of the newer staff who actually served me, and by the way was very pleasant and professional. The older senior staff was not teaching him - he was giving out quietly but quite disrespectfully while waving his hands and throwing bags around. It was painful to watch and I actually felt bad for the younger guy. I was going to ask for a receipt to see a breakdown of the stuff I got as it seemed a bit expensive but I didn’t after seeing the scene I described because I would have just stressed the young guy out.

18/03/2025: I absolutely love pizza max in Cabra the food is banging. Recently though they changed their menu so that the meals no longer include drinks or sauces and somehow it is even more expensive now without drinks and sauces? Make it make sense. To top it all off I paid for the curry sauces and they are now even smaller than what they wore in the past and a euro per sauce. A bit steep if you ask me. Be lucky to get a lick of curry in the tub they give you.

Fresh cod and skimpy it must have been sliced down the middle, more skin on the fish, they don't sell you a fillet it's all tail-end fish, voil....miserable on the chips Don't order from here plenty of decent honest chippers in tallaght, Absolute rip off....consumer rights should be notified
